The Crown Of The Nine Continents

The Crown Of The Nine Continents
Chapter 166: Hero Class

Starting today, the Aulzania Academy is opening a new class, a special class directly guided by the Aulzania Heroes. This class is called the hero class because it is expected that the generation who receives guidance becomes a great and dignified like a hero.

Academy students entering this class are selected based on their talent, personality, and expertise in leadership. Because after receiving one month of study from Anryzel, the students will guide other students based on the teachings that have been given.

After a long argument, the academy officials agreed to give Anryzel the title of prosefor sorcerer and close combat. Indirectly, the title asserts that Anryzel is adept at everything, be it in the skill of using magic, as well as armed and empty-handed melee combat.

There was once a disagreement from some parties who were none other than the teachers of the academy about the title that was felt too excessive. However, Anryzel was asked to prove his ability, and managed to silence everyone's mouth.

Therefore, in this place .. a luxurious and elegant class, a new professor will teach. A total of thirty disciples consisting of sixteen male disciples and fourteen female disciples were ready in their sitting positions.

A few minutes later, the classroom door opened. A person dressed in the official professor clothes of the academy walked into the room with dignity and confidence. Following his arrival, a woman dressed in the assistant professor's attire entered the classroom.

They are Anryzel and Nivania who will be teaching a hero class for the next month. Black hair with fiery red eyes, white skin and a handsome face that was young, one would not believe that he was a professor.

The majority of the students in the class had held their breath because they felt tense and agitated. Because, they have been told that the one who will guide the hero class is a real hero who has extraordinary abilities, so that even that feeling naturally appears in everyone.

Anryzel stood straight in front of all the disciples while doing a slight hand gesture to attract attention.

"Eh."

Anryzel cleared her throat for her efforts in attracting the students to succeed. As a result, all of the disciples focused towards him without anyone turning their eyes.

"Hello, I'm Anryzel Dirvaren. The new professor will be teaching you for a month. My teaching field is limited to magic, fighting skills, and a little bit about alchemy. It doesn't sound like much, but I hope you all can take it well."

Now it was Nivania's turn to introduce herself. Nivania slightly bowed, and spontaneously all the male disciples looked towards her with admiring gazes.

"Then I am Nivania Zournac. Assistant Professor Anryzel will assist him in every lesson for the next month. Maybe I'm not as great as Professor, but my hope is that you can understand."

The disciples immediately stood up, they bowed deeply and shouted the same words, together.

"Sincerely yours! Welcome Professor and Assistant Professor!"

Anryzel slightly knocked, the students turned out to give them both a better welcome than expected. After receiving a warm welcome, Anryzel sat at the professor's desk with Nivania and they looked at the student list to check on the students' attendance.

"Nivania will name you one by one. When your name is called, remember to raise your hand and introduce yourself, okay?"

All the students nodded. Then the task of checking attendance was done by Nivania and went smoothly without any obstacles. However, some of the disciples summoned by Nivania accidentally startled Anryzel.

One of them is ....

"Ferlin Alvadio from magic class 1E?" nvania.

Ferlin, the daughter of Duke Fedel, raised her hand. Ferlin introduced himself in front of everyone.

"N-my name is Ferlin Alvadio, from magic class 1E. The element I am most good at is Fire, and one of my favorite magic is Fire Cyclone."

Nivania directly confirmed Ferlin's presence on the attendance sheet. While Anryzel felt a little surprised because Ferlin who was still first class turned out to be able to enter the hero class. Anryzel originally thought the hero class would only be filled by talented seniors who came from second grade, but it didn't seem like it.

After finishing the session recording attendance, Anryzel then wrote a word on the board. The blackboard in the academy was still black, and Anryzel had to use rudimentary limestone to write something on it.

[MAGIC]

That's the word Anryzel wrote on the black board. Just one word was enough to tell the students that this time learning would be directly related to magic.

"Today we will learn more about a question, which is what exactly is magic?"

Anryzel asserts that almost everyone in the world, both children and the elderly know what magic is. However, have they ever thought of something else like, what is magic really? How does one define magic by words, then prove it by action?

The disciples were also silent with this question. They use magic almost every day, or meet people who use magic, but .. have they ever asked about the same thing? That was never at all.

Now their minds are automatically searching for the meaning of the real magic. That is why, most of them are now beset by a non-trivial confusion.

Anryzel took this opportunity, then gave orders to the disciples. "If you have an opinion on magic, please say it without hesitation! Raise your hands, and speak!"

A man from the knight class raised a hand. He had silver hair, and charisma was most prominent among the other disciples. The familiar figure in Anryzel's eyes, and the figure honoured by the disciples, was Prince Etharez.

"Speak, Etharez!"

Anryzel invites Etharez to speak while feeling astonished that the prince also joined the hero class. It is not known whether the prince was still a disciple or not, but there must have been the intervention of King Esdagius here.

"Look, Professor. I have an opinion that magic is the origin power. A power that cannot be erased, nor created by a person. In short, I think that magic is the beginning of everything, like ... how did this world come into being, didn't it?"

All the disciples nodded with the opinion of Prince Etharez, not only did it make sense in their eyes, but the charisma of the prince also added confidence in everyone, especially the girls.

"Good, I appreciate your courage in your opinion. However, your opinion does not explain anything. So, do any of you want to add it?"

Silence enveloped the entire class. A common occurrence occurs, where a person will feel inferior after a high status person gives his opinion so that others will feel hesitant.

"Um, I'm sorry, but .. can I also give you an opinion, Professor Anryzel?"

All eyes looked at Nivania who was sitting on the assistant bench. Most of them were shocked because an assistant professor performed an unprecedented act. Although in truth, the existence of a professor who had an assistant was rare in the academy.

"Oh, Nivania? Please, I won't limit the participants. Let the students learn from all things."

Nivania then moved from her seat. He stood near Anryzel then used Light Magic: Light Ball, then used some sort of physical strengthening skill at the same time.

"I think magic is just one of the many powers in the world. The proof is in magic and skill, although it has the same basis, which is Mana but the way the two work is certainly different."

Nivania explains that what they call magic is limited to phenomena related to the elements of the world. While the skill can cover everything, even a phenomenon that does not belong to the world element.

Nvania also gave an example, namely teleportation magic owned by the Kingdom of Aulzania. Because teleportation is not well known whether it is included in the six main elements or not, the name using "Magic" is clearly a mistake, and it would be more appropriate if it is referred to as a teleportation skill, not teleportation magic.

"The conclusion is .. Magic is a phenomenon created by the use of mana, and the scope of its effect is limited to only the six main elements."

The disciples were made to gawk by the word Nivania. This time, they were not even able to speak anymore because of getting an answer that might be close to the perfect word.

"What about that, Professor Anryzel?" ask Nvania.

Whether it was some sort of illusion or not, but the disciples saw a confident grin when Nivania said so. Perhaps what was in Nivania's mind at the time was Anryzel who would praise her for an extraordinary answer, but that hope proved futile.

"Hm .. is quite satisfying, but still incomplete."

Anryzel smiled resignedly, although Nivania's answer did contain reality, but there were some forgotten parts. Meanwhile, Nivania looked disappointed, then with a slight sense of inadmissibility she asked for a reasonable explanation, why was the answer incomplete?

"Then, can the Professor explain where my flaws lie?"

Then a student chimed in Nivania's words, "Asister Professor right, where's the fault? Though the answer from the Assistant Professor has been satisfying to me!"

Anryzel shook her head at them. He showed that he really felt helpless.

"I see, to convince you, I will explain the shortcomings of Etharez's opinion, and Nivania's opinion."

First, Anryzel drew an elaborate and difficult magic circle on the board. Everyone was waiting in silence while feeling unnerved. Every second after second, the picture of the magic circle grew more and more complete and finally became perfect.

"Do you know what this is?"

All the disciples stared in silence, knowing that the picture on the blackboard was a very complicated magic circle. However, why did this professor ask the obvious? Did this professor underestimate their knowledge?

"Answer. It's a magic circle, Professor."

Anryzel nodded at a disciple who replied. "True, this is a magic circle."

Anryzel then looked at Nivania as if to signal something. Nivania who was staring back was initially unconscious, but a moment later that conscious feeling came that made her feel like she had made a big mistake.

"b-h ... You're right, I forgot the magic circle!" nvania.

"That's right, and this has answered Nivania's shortcomings for a while. Next is the lack of Etharez. You know what kind of magic circle this is?"

A very good looking female disciple raised her hand. All the attention goes to her as whispers after whispers appear saying that she is the best student in the magic class.

Without anyone asking or ordering, all the disciples including Prince Etharez clapped. They said inwardly; as expected of the best disciple in the magic class! He knew the type of magic only from a few visible parts of the magic circle.

But for Anryzel, the answer was ordinary. His ability in observing magic circles is quite rare, and fairly talented, but .. ordinary talent has no difference in the eyes of Anryzel.

"A pretty good answer. What was your name?" ask Anryzel curiously.

"My name is Laishena from magic class 2A, Professor."

Anryzel immediately remembered it, it turned out that this female disciple was a disciple who claimed to be able to use three elements at once. The element he mastered the most was darkness, then water, and the last was wind.

When others were only able to use two elements, this female disciple could use three elements. Maybe Anryzel could think of it as quite special among the ordinary? It might be like that.

"Alright, Laishena. You're right, this is a magic circle containing light elements, and not the type that will attack directly. You're not entirely wrong to call this type of support magic, or the type of everyday life, but this magic is actually more extraordinary than you know."

All the students leaned slightly forward, except for Laishena who was in a standing position. They felt attracted by the incredible magic, and immediately guessed, what kind of magic is that?

Nivania who felt obstructed from the view of the students decided to return to the assistant seat, and noticed Anryzel's explanation from there.

"Have you ever heard of a light magic that could imitate human form, and then dance in a predetermined motion? This magic also gives a positive effect in the form of increasing courage, and restoring stamina to everyone nearby. Well, have you heard of it?"

Laishena frowned as she said to represent everyone giving an answer. "Sorry Professor, I don't know about it at all. Is this some kind of secret magic? Or maybe a Lost Magic?"

Anryzel moved her hands to give an indication that the magic was not what they had expected.

"Wrong .. This is neither secret magic, nor Lost Magic that I do not know. This magic is the latest kind I have just created. I gave it a name as <>" Anryzel explained lightly.

BRAKK!!

Someone broke the table, and it was none other than Nivania. The disciples immediately moved out of their seats and showed an expression of disbelief. Their faces clearly said that Anryzel's earlier remark was a highly improbable one.

"Wait on! An-b ... Professor Anryzel, don't joke at a time like this!" exclaim Nivania firmly.

"That can't be Professor! Creating new magic is impossible. Even if it could be done, supposedly the magic researchers would not answer impossible right?!"

"Professor please don't joke! Even though you're a Professor, but knowing you're telling a joke like this is really not funny!"

Anryzel laughed a little. While waiting for all the protests made by the disciples, he just silently accepted all their words.

"Professor Anryzel! Don't just smile, please tell me that this is all a joke!"

Anryzel frowned, then spoke inwardly. "Oh, hey .. didn't you guys get so excited that you didn't give me a chance to talk?"

"Everything! Please shut up for a second! Let the professor give an explanation!" prince Etharez exclaimed in an unhappy tone.

In the end, the students were silent. One by one they sat back and calmed down, but Anryzel's words could not be ignored.

Anryzel was holding his forehead because he felt the situation was quite difficult. If not the disciple he had to take care of, then from the beginning this gentle way would never have done!

"Tch, tell you what. I'll show you this magic while giving you an explanation bit by bit."

Anryzel then used <> which gave rise to a human-shaped light. The light then danced freely in the classroom.

Some of the disciples who were affected by the light felt themselves to have recovered from the fatigue. While some others did not pay attention to the small details, and only focused on magic itself.

Anryzel then continued his explanation, "The definition of magic in my opinion is a phenomenon triggered by the use of Mana through the media in the form of magic circles. While the definition of a skill is a phenomenon triggered by the use of Mana without media, and its effects will be more varied than magic."

"And actually, magic and skill are something similar. Only, what distinguished them was the use of the magic circle and the effects it had caused. As long as you are able to use Mana to create the desired phenomenon, then creating a new magic or skill is not impossible."

"I won't go into detail on how it works, because what I'm worried about is that the chances of someone being able to create that magic are one in a hundred million. Someone I know, and he's been doing magic research his whole life hasn't even been able to create the simplest magic yet."

Anryzel flicked her finger and erased her magic. The dancing man of light disappeared from everyone's sight.

"Enough. If you want proof, then challenge me to create magic that you think will never exist in the world, how?"

Upon hearing the statement, Nivania was the first to take this step and opportunity. It is not known what kind of motivation was present in Nivania so she raised her hand several times faster than the disciples.

"Geez, why don't you just become a student like this?"

Nivania just smiled shyly and said, "I-I still can't believe it. Then I will challenge you to create a magic that can make someone honest within three seconds!"

Anryzel laughed quite loudly. He thought that the challenge given by Nivania was too simple and easy to do. What if the students thought they were working together?

"Very easy. I made it."

Everyone was speechless. Some believe in Anryzel's words, but not a few students think that Anryzel has done a big lie.

"True, try to prove if the magic works!"

Anryzel then used the magic on Nivania. Mana gathered around his body, then a magic circle appeared before Nivania. The magic circle just rotated and continued to spin until Nivania's body was enveloped by quite a terrible darkness.

Before the magic was finished, Anryzel asked Nivania. "What do you want to say to me for the rest of your life?"

The magic circle disappeared, and automatically the new magic had been activated. Nivania who was in disbelief instantly thought of the shameful thing Anryzel had meant. He then intends to lie but instead honesty comes out of his mouth.

"I've dreamed about you three times!" nvania exclaims without shame.

"..."

The atmosphere became silent ..Even the sound of the wind rustling through the window could be heard by the disciples. No one dared to comment, including Anryzel who asked questions.

Nivania's cheeks flushed red, shame engulfing her. Instead of lying, what he said was the truth. Nivania immediately ran away from the classroom with a red face as if to explode at any time.

And this time ..The one who was surprised was Anryzel herself.

"No I thought. Nivania, it turns out that you were quite ... unexpectedly," Anryzel said in disbelief.

Anryzel refocuses on work. He clapped once to draw the attention of all the disciples towards him.

"Well, who else here wants to challenge me to make magic? On condition that magic does not violate norms and ethics."

Laishena raised her hand, then stood up from her seat. Everyone heaved a sigh of relief and thought that this was what happened should have been. If Laishena was the one who challenged, then the awkward incident would never have happened.

"I'm sorry before, Professor. I'd like you to create a magic that moves a chalk so that it can write itself on the blackboard according to what I say."

Anryzel accepted the challenge. Before making the magic, Anryzel asked first what kind of words Laishena wanted to write in the new magic.

Laishena then wanted the chalk to write the names of all the students in the hero class. Anryzel gives her confirmation and requests that Laishena wait in her seat while she makes the requested magic.

After a few minutes, Anryzel completed the Laishena challenge. Everyone was stunned by how quickly Anryzel created the new magic.

"Wind Magic: Write."

A magic circle appears above the chalk, then the chalk moves on its own and begins to write on the board. Everyone rounded their eyes with gaping mouths, whereas Laishena and the few who understood better about magic could only stare in disbelief.

They almost shed tears from seeing the most amazing thing that has ever been seen in their entire lives. A creation of magic that they thought was impossible is now actually proven to be done by someone named Anryzel!

When Anryzel turned around to see how the disciples were reacting, she was quite surprised that the disciples were now prostrating themselves on their respective benches.

"I guess ... This is a good result?" anryzel asked herself.
