Chapter 49: A Betrayal

The sun had been at its peak, but there was no sign yet of the Tournament coming to an end. Match after Match has passed, none of them have attracted Ren's interest. Aside from Arniga and the Female Knights, all the Matches took place in a boring manner.

Right now, Ren was in the courtyard of a fairly large Mansion. The reason Ren was here at this moment, was because no more Matches caught his eye.

"Aren't you watching the tournament?" Kanza who appeared from within the Mansion asked.

Ren came earlier than promised, therefore Kanza felt a bit of confusion over Ren's arrival this time.

"No match caught my attention, so I decided to fulfill this promise early." Reply Ren.

"Ha.. Is that so? Okay, let's follow me to meet with the Chairman. Incidentally, there's someone you might know."

"Someone I know..?"

During his arrival to this world, only a few people Ren had recognized. If Kanza's words were true, it should be the person from Party Four Springs. But, all the possibilities could have happened, Ren smelled the smell of new problems this time.

Guided by Kanza, Ren enters the mansion with his two subordinates.

Without further ado, Kanza opened the door. The door opened in a very dramatic manner, it opened slowly - the ground, producing a roaring sound as the door gradually opened.

"I understand..." Ren nodded at Kanza's warning.

The door opened, a room in which there was an elongated table. On both sides of the Table, there are Seats - Chairs that are lined Neatly. The majority of the seats are filled, some are men and some are women.

Suddenly, all who were sitting in the Chair turned their attention to Ren and the others. They stared intently, especially at Ren and the two people who were behind him.

"All, he's the R.Styx I'm talking about..." Kanza pointed at Ren who was standing nearby.

Everyone at first looked at each other, before they could finally digest what Kanza was saying.

"So she?!"

"Seriously!?"

"Yeah! the dream!"

The people who were sitting were instantly excited. They quickly ran over and approached Ren who was standing.

"Is that true?! R.Styx?!"

"Mr R.Styx! I didn't expect to see you in this world!"

"Aw! How handsome!"

They were all swarming around Ren from all sides. Kanza who was standing near Ren would not want to be knocked away because of this crowd. This scene looks like an Idol mobbed by his fans.

Not all of them were crowding Ren, there were three people still sitting in his place. A man who is old enough is one of them. Then, two more people were someone Ren knew. They were, Cethy and Yarth from the Moon Alliance.

The old man hit the table with his right hand. Suddenly everyone who swarmed Ren turned around with a deathly pale face.

"You're sitting back!" The man shouted furiously.

His voice was so loud and heavy, it was suitable to say that he was someone who was easily angry and cruel. With just one shout, those who swarmed Ren one by one sat back down.
