City of Aulzania, Sarlyn Mansion.
The mansion is quite large, although not as big as Duke Tayslen's. This mansion is still better than the Houses of the rich and other nobles in this Kingdom.
In the courtyard of the mansion, the Horse Stroller carrying Sarlyn, Nirlayn and Lin-Ya stopped. Not long after, one by one they got out of the carriage.
The few Soldiers guarding the Gate welcomed Sarlyn's return.
"Welcome, Miss Sarlyn." They said in unison.
"Pulse... Bring me some of my things and those two things that are in the carriage."
"Good!"
The Soldiers rushed to pick up the items Sarlyn had.
They also brought one item that Lin-Ya had. Immediately, the soldiers brought these items first into the Mansion.
"Let's go in." Sarlyn invites Nirlayn and Lin-Ya to enter her Mansion.
Nirlayn and Lin-Ya nodded, they then followed Sarlyn who was walking to enter the Mansion.
The Mansion's door opened revealing the inside of the Mansion. There are seen some maids have been waiting to welcome the arrival of Sarlyn.
"Welcome, Miss." The servants bowed simultaneously.
"Yes, you shouldn't always welcome me so excessively like this." Sarlyn looks troubled.
"That's our duty Miss Sarlyn!" The servants said excitedly.
"Well... You guys are so stubborn." Sarlyn shook her head.
"Alright, take them to the guest room. I'll do some things first." Sarlyn orders the servants to escort Nirlayn and Lin-Ya.
After saying that, Sarlyn left. Leaving Nirlayn and Lin-Ya with the Servants.
"Let me deliver.." A servant approached and spoke to Nirlayn and Lin-Ya.
The waiter guides Nirlayn along with Lin-Ya towards the Guest Room. After some time passing through the Corridor. The waiter stopped in front of a door.
"Here, the guest room for Miss - Miss." The waiter opened the door and showed me the whole room.
The view of the Spacious Room entered the eyes of Nirlayn and Lin-Ya. Rooms filled with luxury items such as Antique clocks, Flower decorations, Paintings and other Decorations.
In this room there is also a luxurious Chair and a large Bed that is no less luxurious.
"If you need anything, just call me."
The waiter left the room and closed the door. It left only Nirlayn and Lin-Ya in the room.
The room was now silent, none of them were talking.
"Hm...!" Nirlayn coughed softly.
"You're Lin-Yeah, right?" Nirlayn finally opened the conversation.
"Eh?! B-just.!" Lin-Ya is surprised by Nirlayn's question which arrives - arrived.
"There's no need for that whole bunch.... Let's sit down first." Nirlayn flicked her arm, signaling that Lin-Ya would not have to act nervously in front of her.
"Ah.. Aye." Yeah."
"Mhm. You know, you're actually pretty lucky."
"Lucky-ung..? What do you mean Miss Nirlayn?" Lin-Ya looks confused.
"Miss..? Don't call me that. Call me Nirlayn, that's the name Ren-sama gave me."
"Pulse.. Then Nirlayn, what do you mean by lucky?"
"I mean, Ren-sama has guaranteed your safety. That means, Ren-sama has acknowledged your eligibility. Therefore, I as Ren-sama's first subordinate welcome you!" Nirlayn spoke with passion.
"Anu...? I don't intend to be a subordinate. After all, wasn't Ren just an ordinary human being? why did you become the subordinate of someone weaker than you?"
Lin-Ya tells her feelings honestly. But, this is where the problem lies, Lin-Ya's words make Nirlayn feel offended.
"What...? are you underestimating Ren-sama like.. Those insolent Humans?" Nirlayn spoke with Cold.
Lin-Ya realizes the mistake in her words. Hurriedly Lin-Ya shakes her head, intending to deny Nirlayn's accusations.
"No - No..! I didn't mean to underestimate Ren! I'm just saying what I saw, I don't know the slightest bit about the strength or privilege of a Ren..!"
Lin-Ya hurriedly explained the true meaning of the words she was saying.
Lin-Ya's explanation proved useful, Nirlayn's face looked slightly softened.
"Your words are not a lie, are they?"
"Te-Of course."
Lin-Ya spoke with trembling lips, her feelings fearing Nirlayn's anger. In front of the Strong Nirlayn, Mana might not be afraid, with just a little bit of Nirlayn power alone it was possible to kill Lin-Ya.
Nirlayn explained with a face full of happiness. Lin-Ya inevitably felt astonished by the expression shown by Nirlayn. However, Lin-Ya still listened to Nirlayn's words carefully.
"Is Ren that good...?"
Lin-Ya feels disbelief that Ren is as great as Nirlayn was talking about.
But, Lin-Ya believes one thing, that Ren is a good person.
"Of course..! And you want to know why I became Ren-sama's subordinate right?"
"YES..!" Lin-Ya nodded with interest.
"If you can swear not to divulge this to anyone unless granted Ren-sama's permission. Then I'll tell you..."
"He...? That's the secret..? All right, I swear I won't break it to anyone." Lin-Ya sulking.
"Good, I take your oath, and if you break it...... Then I'll get rid of you, okay?" Nirlayn intimidated Lin-Ya with her words.
"Glekkkl.. I get it."
"First - tama... Ren-sama and I are not from the Human Race. We are from the honorable and Noble Race, the Blood Devil."
"Blo-od Devil...?" Lin-Ya looks tilted her head.
"Yes, another name of our Race is the Reincarnation Race. You know why we're called that...? because every time we die, we can reincarnate again if all the conditions are met.."
"Blood Devil? Reincarnation Race?" Lin-Ya looks more confused.
"In the Blood Devil Race, every individual has a certain level. Starting from ordinary Individuals, Nobles, Kings, Ancestors and the latter was True Ancestor."
"When I was alive, I was at the King level. whereas for Ren-sama, I was sure, he was at the True Ancest-level!"
"Wait - Wait, Stop! Nirlayn. I still don't understand one thing!"
Lin-Ya cuts off Nirlayn's words that are eagerly explaining the origins of his Race.
"What...? I'm explaining tau."
Nirlayn looks upset that the explanation he gave was cut by a Lin-Ya.
"What is the Blood Devil? I just heard it this first time..."
"Eh....?! Aren't you given a lesson on the Names of the Races that exist in this world?"
Nirlayn seemed to be in disbelief at Lin-Ya's words.
"I swear, I really don't know of a Race called the Blood Devil. I've never heard of it anywhere."
Hearing Lin-Ya's words, Nirlayn drooped limp in his chair. His entire body seemed to have run out of energy
"Mus-Mustahil...? Has our race been forgotten..?"
"Tell me, the name of every race in the world is Lin-Ya."
"Starting from Humans then Elves, Dwarves, Elves, Demons, Angels, Demi-Humans, Spirits and Dragons. As far as I know there are only 9 of these races in the world..."
Lin-Ya looks to be telling the truth. Nirlayn did not feel any lies in Lin-Ya's words.
"What.....? This is impossible..." Nirlayn muttered in disbelief.
"Then.... What about Vampires?" Nirlayn asked back.
"Eh? Vampires are demons, right....?"
"The soup is so...." Nirlayn said slowly.
Brakk!
Nirlayn hit the table in front of him. Produce a crack on that table. Lin-Ya who saw the change in Nirlayn's Expressions and Actions became both shocked and scared.
"Ni-nirlay... Did I say something wrong again?"
"No... You didn't say anything wrong. In fact, I thank you Lin-Ya. I finally understood that they had betrayed us...."
Nirlayn's eyes looked bright red, his figure now looked completely furious.
Lin-Ya froze, her face pale as she looked at Nirlayn's Red Eyes.
"Ni-nirlay... Th-whay.."
Nirlayn did not listen in the slightest to Lin-Ya's words. He moved from the chair to the window.
Nirlayn then stayed, staring at the clear sky outside the window.
"I must report this matter to Ren-sama immediately..."
Nirlayn's murmur was slightly heard by Lin-Ya. In Lin-Ya's heart, a feeling of guilt appeared. Lin-Ya seems to trigger a conflict that is coming in the future..
