The Crown Of The Nine Continents

The Crown Of The Nine Continents
Chapter 159: Technology from Floating Magic Ship

The weather that day instantly turned bright. As the sun began to reveal itself from behind the clouds that were knocked out, a large object appeared in the sky of the city of Aulzania. To be precise, the object was near the royal palace, and had a shape like a sea ship floating in midair.

Floating Magic Ship, was the name of the item. A cutting-edge technology created by the Great Empire of Exousillia, and has the shape of a large sailing ship.

Floating Magic Ship relied on magic as a source of power to push the ship to stay in the air. While the screens above it are used to determine the direction in which they will go.

The power of the Floating Magic Ship in holding the load is quite extraordinary, with a maximum load weighing two tons or less. The calculation is included in the crew and the items contained in it.

Although the ability possessed by the Floating Magic Ship was incredible, but there were flaws in certain things that still needed to be improved. An example is their speed of flight which is only able to go at speeds of 25 - 40 Km/h depending on the load.

That way in the worst situation where the Floating Magic Ship was only able to go at a speed of 25 Km/h, to reach the Great Empire of Exousillia it took three days.

From the point of view of the people in this world travel time as long as it is an amazing thing considering the load carried, but according to Ren who comes from the modern world, it is amazing, the speed of travel during that time is very slow and takes a lot of time.

"Of course I'll be late to meet with clients at that slow pace."

But again, this is a different world. Ren could not compare the two because civilization on Earth was already very advanced. After all, saying the Floating Magic Ship was so slow would provoke the anger of the imperial party that he preferred to be quiet.

Now Ren is in a less than appropriate condition. Armilein was very enthusiastic in explaining all sorts of prowess in Floating Magic Ship even though according to Ren it was ordinary.

Indeed after leaving the inn, Ren headed straight for the palace and met the royal family who were looking at the preparations for the imperial envoy who was about to leave.

On that occasion, Armilein fulfilled her promise and invited Ren to take a look at the Floating Magic Ship while introducing each corner in considerable detail.

"This "Floating Magic Ship used a Mana Crystal as its fuel source. A technology we created can process the Mana Crystal to absorb Mana from nature, then store it, and turn that Mana into Wind Magic that keeps the ship in the air."

Ren nodded while showing an interested expression. Needless to say that his expression was just a lie to please his interlocutor.

"Ohoo ... how many Mana Crystals are used?" asked Ren to take his time.

Armilein stopped her steps then turned around enthusiastically, "You must be surprised! We used two Mana Crystals the size of Wyvern eggs!"

Ren furrowed his brows and said inwardly, "Isn't that too little?"

The swift speed of this Floating Magic Ship was so slow. They only use two Mana Crystals with small size, even a miracle that the object can move and walk.

"I understand, but isn't that enough? You must use more Mana Crystals than that to get the ideal speed."

Ren voiced a reasonable opinion but it was actually not easy to do. It was evident from Armilein's expression that instantly turned complicated and full of problems.

"This .. instead of us lacking the Mana Crystal, it's just that the technology capable of processing more Mana Crystals than that is still in the research stage."

Ren finally understood, because there is a belief that has been inherent in everyone about newly created magic is impossible, then their research does not succeed.

If there was indeed someone who understood about the new magic making in the Great Empire of Exousillia, of course they would not bother making technology that had limited range of use.

"Oh so."

Ren replied briefly, he again listened to every word that came out of Armilein's mouth in silence. Until it was not felt, they had spent quite a long time and decided to stop immediately.

"That's it, some things are deliberately kept secret so I can't tell you."

"It's okay, it's natural."

From a distance came King Esdagius with Queen Rialna and her two children. And as usual, King Esdagius immediately asked without explaining what exactly he was asking.

"How about, Mr Dirvaren?"

Ren's red eyes glanced then followed by his body turning around. "What how is it?"

King Esdagius laughed, "Hahaha! Of course regarding the outstanding Floating Magic Ship. The Great Empire of Exousillia is indeed great, if one day my kingdom can have something similar!"

To the praise of the slightly excited King Esdagius, Armilein seemed proud of the vehicle created by his empire. As for Ren ...'s response he just smiled pity.

"Ahhh, this Floating Magic Ship is so incredible. Really, the Great Empire of Exousillia has high-ability people!" exclaim Ren enliven the atmosphere.

As a result, Armilein increasingly felt proud and smiled widely. Then he excitedly explained back the greatness of the empire without anyone asking and telling him.

Time passed for quite a while as Armilein told the intricacies of the general information regarding the Great Empire of Exousillia. Not a few of those listening felt amazed, but there was also one person who felt the story was quite boring.

Then in the end, the story ended when someone in charge of operating the Floatint Magic Ship approached them.

Everyone clapped their hands to show their admiration for Armilein's story regarding the Great Empire of Exousillia. In this case, Ren took part in the action because he had enough information about their empire.

Armilein immediately changed his attitude, and bowed respectfully to King Esdagius, saying, "I am Armilein Nhi Ruvilla, asking him to leave. Hopefully next time, we can meet back in good shape."

King Esdagius nodded his head authoritatively, "Uhm, may we meet again in the near future, and in good condition."

Armilein turned around, but before leaving she whispered something to Ren.

"There's no need to pretend to be amazed, I know that expression is quite unnatural."

Armilein smiled amiably, but it was no mistake that there was dissatisfaction in the words she spewed. A kind of dislike feeling because Ren had underestimated their technology even though vaguely.

The red-eyed Ren only smiled smugly as if indifferent to the unpleasant words of Armilein.

"I didn't think you could realize it. Well, putting my abilities aside, your Floating Magic Ship is indeed quite amazing."

"Tch." Armilein clucked in annoyance then said, "As if you can make something even greater?"

Armilein felt a little annoyed that someone had underestimated the Great Empire of Exousillia regardless of how much strength one underestimated it. Armilein believed, although Ren was strong but when compared to their emperor, then Ren would not be comparable.

"Ehh ..."

Ren was silent by Armilein's words. As long as he was silent, Armilein had already moved into the Floating Magic Ship in a hasty move.

"What a difficult woman to learn from experience. I wonder, what would happen to him if Nirlayn, or one of my subordinates were here?"

A grin full of evil then appeared on Ren's face along with the emergence of an idea that he thought was very brilliant.

"King Esdagius, didn't you just say you wanted to have something similar to that ugly ship?"

King Esdagius gasped because he did not expect Ren to ask in his face that was smiling cunningly.

"A-ah! Yes, but it was just my wishful thinking. Is there something in your heart, Mr Dirvaren?"

Ren did not immediately reply to the words of King Esdagius, but rather stared at the Floating Magic Ship which began to soar into the air. Looking up there, Armilein waved to the royal family with a sweet smile.

But Ren stared not because he wanted to see Armilein, but because he thought whether the Floating Magic Ship was worthy enough to bring out something rudimentary?

"True, it's time for me to go. I'm sorry King Esdagius, but there's something I have to do first. For that I will leave without being able to follow the banquet you just mentioned."

Ren walked away to a slightly larger, empty area. Now he focused his mind, then activated Blood Art and formed something extraordinary.

Well ... It is Prototype Anti-Detection Aircraft but in a smaller version.

Neither King Esdagius, nor all who witnessed it, were greatly surprised by this alien form, including Armilein who had been in the air.

"This death is fine. It never hurts to show greatness, but don't feel like the best."

For various reasons Ren's voice was heard by Armilein and King Esdagius. Their hearts were pounding, their minds were trying to guess what Ren was actually going to do with the foreign object.

But no one thought, that Ren would ride the object. In one blink of an eye, the thing that had a strange shape in the eyes of those people began to fly into the air, and it was now following the height reached by the Floating Magic Ship.

"Hey, do you know the standard speed of the plane is 1000 Km/h? Oh, maybe Armilein's emissaries don't know, I'll get you because what you have is a ship that's forced into the air, and not a plane."

Ren stared at the Armilein messenger in a straight line. His red eyes lit up as if hinting so as not to provoke this Blood Devil who did not have this definite personality.

The plane that was boarded by Ren also shot at high speed. The wind and energy that was blown by him could make the Floating Magic Ship experience an imbalance in a short time.

The entire crew panicked, thinking that an alien object was about to strike. Yet Armilein sat down with a limp knee, once again the pride that had existed in her heart was crushed by something created by a single existence.

Armilein let out a tear, a small cry as she muttered, "Hiks .. hiks.... she even crushed me to this extent?"

Shortly after dashing at high speed, Ren turned back with the aim of returning to Aulzania City.Hal he did actually have good intentions, which is to teach a lesson to someone who is arrogant without having power.

But the thing that Ren did not realize was the uproar caused afterwards. He had no idea that King Esdagius had almost fainted from seeing something so extraordinary, and he had no idea that his actions would affect his relationship with Armilein in the future.

"Right now is the time to see Nivania. I hope he's okay."

Ren removes the aircraft made from Blood Art and then uses the wings to fly to Aulzania City. Carrying a slightly worried feeling, he hoped that nothing bad would happen to Nivania.
