The Crown Of The Nine Continents

The Crown Of The Nine Continents
Bloods 6 - Red Orchid

Nivania sat limp, feeling helpless with a blank look. I don't know what he's feeling right now, is it admiration or fear? No one can be sure of even himself.

Over the years of living in the world, Nvania had witnessed all sorts of battles. Yet all the battles he had witnessed were nothing similar to this. This battle is the definition of the word true slaughter, where one side is absolutely superior.

Anryzel ran away from the distance to Nivania without caring for the scattered bodies of Redwolf. Arriving in front of Nivania, Anryzel patted Nivania on the shoulder to wake her from the daydream.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"Aah!" Nivania flinched consciously, then with a relieved tone as if she did not care much about the scene she had just witnessed, Nivania said quietly, "It turns out you, thank goodness you survived."

"I survived, but why are you here?"

"The story's long enough, I'm here because I'm worried about you."

Anryzel frowned in response to the words "Worry about you" from Nivania. There was nothing wrong with the word, but logically worrying about someone new to the world made little sense.

"Is that why you've only gone into this forest and risked your life?" Anryzel spoke while helping Nivania to stand up.

"You have no gratitude at all?" nivania grumbled as she got up and cleaned her dirty armor. "Is there something wrong with saving others?"

"I don't think it's wrong, but saving someone else you haven't known for a long time without thinking is stupid enough." Anryzel had no intention of forbidding Nivania from doing good, only that she reminded Nivania not to be rash in acting.

Unfortunately, Anryzel's intentions did not seem to be conveyed properly. Nivania interprets the speech of Anryzel in a different sense. In Nivania's view, Anryzel looked like an arrogant person who declared himself in no need of help.

"If I knew you were that strong, I wouldn't want to worry about you!" Nivania looked away with a feeling of annoyance."Never mind, I'm sorry to go to this place."

Anryzel who realized there was a slight misunderstanding between the two of them decided to budge. After all, there was someone who wanted to save his life, why would he not just thank him?

"Alright, I understand. Thank you for worrying about me." Anryzel slightly lowered her head to show that she was sincere. "Let's go back, maybe the villagers will be happy to hear this threat is gone?"

Still with a slightly irritated feeling Nivania glanced at the figure of Anryzel who turned out to have moved to go home. Several times Nivania saw the pile of bodies of Redwolf who was still scattered with a feeling of confusion and wonder.

"Hey! Do you want to just come back?!"

"Isn't that what I said before?"

"Even though you lost your memory, don't you realize how valuable the cores inside the corpses of those monsters are?!"

"Huh, core?" Anryzel glanced at Redwolf's corpse and recalled that the monster did have a core in him. He did not expect that even in the real world monsters had such a thing.

The core, or core of the monster, is an in-game item that can be obtained when a player successfully kills the monster. The quality of those cores was determined by how powerful or rare the monsters were. For Redwolf himself, he felt the slightest bit of need for him at this moment.

"You intend to take it, don't you?" asked Nivania while looking reassuring.

Anryzel, however, unconcernedly replied, "No, you can take it if you want. I don't need."

"Eh, what?" Nivania was in disbelief. "No need?" Nivania still doubts her hearing. "Hey, is your head a little troubled?"

In the end the conversation began an incident where Anryzel waited for Nivania to take all the cores there. Core retrieval did not take a little time, and it did not feel like the day started towards night when the two of them returned to the village.

Giru Village is a remote village located south of Ceeven City, part of the Kingdom of Aulzania. A road made of land stretches from Giru Village to Ceeven City for 27 km.

On the deserted street made of that land, there was a plain-clothed man walking leisurely. Although he hung the sword on his side of the waist but the appearance of the man did not look like a knight at all. Simple clothes, with a simple sword, he looked more like a villager carrying a sword around his waist.

"Actually, running away is not the way to suit a person like me, but in this other world I would consider it an exception."

The man who spoke while looking annoyed was none other than Anryzel Dirvaren. After fighting the Redmoon Wolf he returned to Giru Village and was considered a hero by the villagers for having eradicated the great threat.

Massive celebrations were held by Nivanians and villagers. Moreover, Redwolf cores are considered very valuable and high selling value so that the villagers are happy and happy. They also plan to use a small portion of the income from the sale of the core to party.

Anryzel as a person who was still very curious how this world as a whole certainly could not stay any longer in a remote village. He had to leave immediately to see an even wider world.

Therefore, Anryzel decided to secretly escape from Giru Village while Nivania and the villagers were off guard.

"The Redwolf Core is still considered valuable yes," Anryzel told himself.

If the cores from low-level monsters were still considered valuable it would mean that the average level of the residents of Giru Village ranged from 1-40 with the exception of Nivania who might be at a higher level.

Anryzel could only estimate that Nivania's current level ranged from 150-300 if looking at from some clues such as quantity and quality of mana, the healing skills she used, physical strength, etc, and stamina for running.

"But this is interesting, the game Cothenic does not have the feature of feeling mana like this. It was like feeling something unimaginable."

Anryzel likes new things. When there is something new around him, he will not hesitate to spend time learning it. For example, in the case of sensing mana, from the first time he opened an inventory through the Dimension Ring, he continued to learn about it down to small details that others might not know.

Based on what he had researched, Anryzel was able to draw two tentative conclusions as to where. The first conclusion is, where has different characteristics and colors depending on who or what the source is. In conclusion, almost everyone can feel mana but not everyone can see it.

Seeing here is not in the sense of seeing using the eyes, but of using something deeper and mysterious. Eyesight has borders and blind spots, but if that vision is where then those limitations are almost non-existent.

How amazing it is, to the point of making Anryzel more excited than when he first played the game Cothenic.

"I would call it perception of mana. That sounds more appropriate."

Anryzel then continued his journey to reach the first 15 kilometers in the new world. During the walk quite casually, he tried and experimented with the existing skills.

Of all the results of the experiments he had conducted, there was not a single skill that could not be used. Although there are some skills or magic that require certain conditions to apply properly but it does not count as a total failure.

"I've never felt this free. Walking without direction, and living without problems, everything feels so amazing."

It is undeniable that the road through Anryzel is dry land that gives off a little dust when exposed by a footfall. However, the calm natural atmosphere, fresh air, green plants, and clear skies are like natural medicine that makes anyone feel happy.

This kind of natural tranquility has become extinct on Earth, replaced by technology that all emit pollution. So when he felt this, Anryzel felt like he was in a very beautiful dream.

Unfortunately, the calm did not last long until one day a tremor shook the ground where it rested. Was that shock an earthquake? Anryzel didn't know about it.

But as he walked one more step forward, something surprisingly gigantic in size flashed quite quickly in front of Anryzel.

Swoss!!!!!!!!

"Eh?"

Anryzel was surprised, who would have thought that there would be a giant fireball passing in front of him. The fireball cut off the road and cut through the forest until all the trees it crossed were scorched in flames.

"Who's playing fireball? Just make my mood fuck up!" gerutu Anryzel while looking around to find where the fire came from.

Soon a great tremor occurred again, and this time Anryzel was able to feel it very clearly. He looked towards the source of the vibration and then got an interesting sight.

However Anryzel saw it, what he saw was a battle. A battle between three people against a monster known as the Blaze Lizard King. Blaze Lizard King is a lizard-shaped monster that has red skin and can spout fireballs like dragons.

The Blaze Lizard King was classified as a Middle Class monster that was more powerful than the Redmoon Wolf. Their specialty lies in the bursts of fireballs they have and their extremely hard scales. The rest, may be rare because of their presence which is quite difficult to meet and live in volcanoes.

"Hey! Get away from there! Do you want to die?!" yelled one of them who turned out to be a woman.

The city of Ceeven is to the west of the Royal Capital of Aulzania, although Ceeven City is a remote city but its existence is quite important for the kingdom.

In this city, many natural resources are used as a source of royal income. Therefore, it is not surprising that Ceeven City has been named the third most important city in the Kingdom of Aulzania.

Ceeven City is a duke, Duke Fedel Alvadio. It might be a little strange because usually a remote city like this was led by Viscount level nobles down. But because of the abundant resources and became the third most important city of the Kingdom of Aulzania, Duke Fedel was ordered directly to take care of this region by the king.

Duke Fedel himself is a 46-year-old man, he is famous as a wise and generous person. Therefore, Ceeven City improved and prospered after his leadership.

Duke Fedel is a diligent man, and he sometimes likes to be alone to be more focused on work. But this time there was a little different from Duke Fedel's expression, his countenance looked so anxious and worried.

"Blaze Lizard, why did you show up in this army-less town?" duke Fedel.

The Ceeven City investigation team tasked with searching for the potential of new precious metal mining discovers a shocking fact in the mountains of the southwestern part of the city where they discover signs of life from monsters the powerful one called Blaze Lizard.

The adult Blaze Lizard has a large body with a length of 35 meters, a width of 10 meters, and a height of 15 meters. His ability to spurt fireballs is considered dangerous, especially for villages or cities that are not equipped with magic protectors.

Information about the existence of Blaze Lizard has been received by Duke Fedel since one week ago, and at that time also Duke Fedel directly sent a letter of request for help to the king.

According to the reply letter from the king's right hand, three special knights will be sent as reinforcements. Based on estimates, the knights would arrive at Ceeven City right on this day. Therefore Duke Fedel hopes they do not experience obstacles in their journey.

At the thought of that, suddenly a knock on the door rang out, "Duke, the Royal Knight has already arrived at the courtyard of the mansion."

"Oh, really?! Wait, I'll be there."

Duke Fedel hurriedly tidied up the rest of his work. He thought that welcoming the arrival of knights from the capital was the main thing.

The Duke walked quickly towards the courtyard of the mansion. By the time he arrived, there were three female knights conversing with each of them.

"Miss Knight Oryna and the other Honorable Knights, thank you for taking the time to this remote Ceeven City."

Duke Fedel immediately greeted the female knight named Oryna. He spoke politely to Oryna because he was a friendly person. Plus a special knight like Oryna had a standing equal to the nobles in this kingdom so there was no harm in using polite language.

"Hallo, nice to meet you Duke Fedel Alvadio. I'm Oryna Dioxsydia, B-class Aulzania Knight and leader of the Red Orchid team."

"It's nice to meet you, Duke Fedel Alvadio. I am Mirina Yutheluva, the C-class Aulzania Knight of the Red Orchid squad."

"It's nice to meet you too, Duke Fedel Alvadio. I am Etheria Archonsi, the C-class Aulzania Knight of the Red Orchid squad."

Duke Fedel was beaming as he welcomed their arrival. Duke Fedel then allowed them to go to the banquet table to just rest and talk about the threat faced by Ceeven City.

"It's nice that His Majesty didn't take this matter lightly by sending out an elite squad like you. Red Orchid huh? I've heard of the good reputation of your squad increasing every day as a new team of achievers" Duke Fedel praised Oryna and others.

Oryna and her friends seemed to blush a little. Although special knights were of high standing, but when compared to a duke they were still far below him.

"Thank you very much, but our squad is not as great as the one you are talking about" Oryna said.

"Right, we still have a long way to go to become the number one squad in the kingdom" Mirina said.

"Sorry interjected. However with regards to the Blaze Lizard, is there any other information aside from where they live?" ask Etheria.

Oryna and Mirina could only sigh because their friend Etheria had too serious a personality. Even during breaks like this, he still talks about work.

Duke Fedel just smiled and understood that. He then exposed all the information he knew to them. The banquet briefly turned into a place of discussion and strategic planning to conquer the Blaze Lizard that threatened Ceeven City.

Then the next day ....

Today is the day that Oryna and her friends are going to do the Blaze Lizard extermination plan. After discussion and strategy planning, they estimated that the number of Blaze Lizards on the mountain there is more than one tail in other words this work will not be easy.

When the sun was shining brightly, the Red Orchid team led by Oryna also left for the mountain southwest of Ceeven City. The trip was carried out by riding the horses that had been prepared by Duke Fedel complete with enough supplies.

"Mirina, Etheria, let's move faster! We have to get to that mountain before noon."

"Ready!!"

Then at noon the Red Orchid squad had reached the mouth of the cave where the Blaze Lizards lived. Oryna, Mirina, and Etheria descended from the horse and prepared everything needed to do battle in the cave.

They gathered after a complete preparation to discuss the strategy further. "This time we'll use an ambush strategy. Etheria, understand the cave terrain and find a suitable place to make an ambush. After finding the place, then Mirina would use explosion magic to lure them out. Then I'll attack first and finish off the Blaze Lizard as best I can and you'll have to help, okay?" oryna's orders.

Etheria and Mirina nodded. The three of them entered the cave with great caution. Etheria was at the very front, Oryna at the center, and Mirina at the back.

Red Orchid is a fairly balanced team. Etheria has advantages in situation and circumstance observation, Mirina has advantages in area magic, while Oryna has advantages in strategy regulator and executioner.

Therefore Etheria is always positioned at the front and Oryna at the middle and Mirina at the back.

"Stop, here seems to be enough," Etheria said.

"You sure?" Oryna asked.

"Yes, more than this our existence will be realized" Etheria explained.

"alright. Mirina, do your job" cried Oryna.

Mirina nodded then prepared a position in the middle of the cave. He then activated his magic while casting a long enough spell.

"A burning fire, my call to you. Appear as a sign of threat to my enemy. Fulfill my call, blast everything you want <>!!"

A magic circle appeared, then suddenly ....

Booom!!

A huge explosion occurred which made the entire cave tremble violently. Hot air that seemed to burn the skin then hit their bodies in the form of hot air waves as a result of the previous explosion.

"They're coming! Get ready!" etheria exclaims to give information.

As planned, Etheria and Mirina slightly moved away from the ambush point while Oryna deliberately waited there while she unsheathed her glittering sword.

Not taking long, a swarm of Blaze Lizards appeared from the deeper parts of the cave. Their eyes glowed and their mouths sizzled as if they had a wrathful countenance.

"Sorry to interrupt his break, monster!"

Just then, Oryna directly lunged towards the monsters at full power. He then managed to subvert about six Blaze Lizards with considerable effort. Seeing that, Etheria and Mirina immediately joined the battle.

The three of them worked together well to subvert the Blaze Lizard one by one. Until the peak, when the stamina of Etheria and Oryna was thinning, and the mana of Mirina had been exhausted appeared a monster that they did not expect to be present there.

Yes, it was the Blaze Lizard King. The worst monsters that appeared in the moment their strength was almost at its limit.
