Ren jumped from the ten-meter tall building. He intends to return as soon as possible to Nivania and cure her immediately. But an unexpected thing happened, his healthy head suddenly felt a tremendous dizziness that he lost consciousness.
His body that was jumping fell in a miserable position. Luckily Ren's powerful physique saved his currently helpless body.
Then in an unknown space, Ren stood up with a very upset feeling. Ren knew that this space was a place where he always met men who looked like him, and of course that person would sometimes say strange things again sucks.
"Yoo .. long time no see, Ren. Are you merind-"
As the figure was slowly about to emerge from the void, Ren had already prepared a fist that went straight towards him. The figure was extremely shocked, and dodged frantically to the point that he was about to fall.
"Oiii .. isn't there a better way to greet someone?!" protest the figure with an irritated face.
Ren also let out a bigger irritated expression. "Oh, really? Then isn't there a better way to draw one's consciousness?"
The figure then smiled stiffly, he shook his head without cause while explaining something to defend himself.
"I didn't mean it, I don't know what you're doing in the world anyway?" said it.
Ren who remembered the figure's words in the past felt even more annoyed. After all, the figure had said that he had been watching Ren for a long time. That means that all activities carried out by Ren can be seen by him, including when Ren was jumping earlier.
"You think I'll believe it?" furious Ren while preparing for the next blow.
Instead of dodging further, the figure now nodded and admitted his mistake of having called recklessly and lied.
"Of course not. But this time it's really urgent, so I can't wait any longer to call you."
Ren who heard that then lowered his frustration. Indeed the figure always said strange and annoying, but most of his words were the truth.
If the figure said something urgent, Ren could not immediately ignore it because it might be an important matter in the future.
"Then, what business is that?" asked Ren with a softened expression.
The figure then heaved a sigh of relief, "Fuuhhh .. whereas I am the owner of this space but over time you are more domineering, isn't that strange? Come on, back to the main topic. I have told the leader of the Great Empire of Exousillia that the Monarch will return."
Ren responded, "The Monarch, 'Is it?"
Ren's mind began to run to predict in advance the true meaning of the figure's words. If what he said to the emperor of the Great Empire of Exousillia was the return of the Monarch who was the Continents Holder, wouldn't that mean himself?
Or maybe this Zachen Continent is just a scenario of chance that the shape and geographical conditions are similar to those in the game? Then, Ren who claimed to be the Continents Holder the ruler of the continent was just a fake? And there was someone who was the true owner of this continent? Ren was still curious.
"really so. Let's guess, what do you think they're reacting to?"
Ren held his chin while thinking. "Are they not surprised? If indeed they knew the prowess of a Continents Holder, then they would cry happily because they could meet one of them."
"Haha! Not entirely right, but not wrong. Well, they're a bunch of freaks who adore a Monarch even though the Monarch's own power has its limits."
For some reason, Ren felt agree with the figure's words. After all a Monarch could still die, and his strength still had a limit even though perhaps that limit was too great for the world to accommodate.
But to the exclusion of other unknown Monarchs, Ren's powers are recognized as the Continents Holder in the game, and in the real world that he currently lives on has not been able to destroy a single planet in a single blow.
It was an incredible power, but it was not yet at a stage worthy of worship and adoration. When a god they believe in still has flaws, then they are not a god, let alone a God, right?
"They worship the Monarchs?" asked Ren curiously.
The figure looked at Ren in surprise, then explained, "No, they are human, and usually every race worships their own Monarch. In this case what they worshiped was The Blood Monarch, who was none other than me and yourself."
A sparkle appeared in Ren's eyes that indicated that he was locking onto a single sentence that needed an explanation for him to understand. If he and that figure were indeed The Blood Monarch, then it was questionable who exactly was worthy of the title.
"Wait, me and you? I need an explanation here."
The figure stiffened and immediately hit his own forehead. After all, he had made the fatal mistake of telling something that should not be known first.
"Currently, why do I feel like I've been careless lately? Is it because you're getting more like me that my vigilance in speech is decreasing?"
The figure then called two chairs, and a table complete with drinks and dishes on it. He allows Ren to sit down which is certainly well received by Ren.
"Hm, well .. since it's this way, it never hurts to tell you."
Ren felt he would find something interesting. That was why he started to smile widely with eyes that showed high interest, for some reason he also thought of some preconceived notions about the thing the figure wanted to talk about.
"I am ... Ahns. As you know, I am a Blood Monarch who rules over one of the nine continents, but that was a long time ago. As the first Blood Devil and the one with the purest blood, I was endowed with immense power by the creator. While the other eight Monarchs were ... well, it could be said that they had mediocre strength and nothing special."
It all started three million years ago. This world, no .. the planet is still not inhabited by intelligent living beings like humans, or any other race.
Of the many inhabited quadrillion planets, this planet is one of many planets that are still pure and uncontaminated. It can be said that the planet is still in a new condition, and no one has ever set foot there.
This planet belongs as a special planet, although in terms of size it is not too big, but a mysterious energy called mana meets every corner of the planet. So that when intelligent living things are created, namely the first nine individuals referred to as Nine Continents Holder, or Nine Monarch, they are endowed with a body capable of absorbing magical mana energy.
The first individual created was Ahn, he was an entity created to become the Blood Devil Race. The abilities given to Ahn are numerous and varied, almost all of them having unreasonable power and effects.
Ahn is also the only Nine Continents Holder to be given a direct name so the other eight Continents Holders actually have no name.
Each Continents Holder was given a continent to rule over. They were given the freedom to do anything on their own continent, including making civilizations and making descendants.
Eight of them decided to make a descent, then set up a civilization on their respective continents. But for Ahn, making descendants and establishing civilization is not interesting, he prefers to learn every thing in the world.
Because of his different ways of life, Ahn traveled the world and learned whatever he spent a million years in. A very long time can make him know everything that is unknown to others.
The longer the knowledge gained by Ahn becomes more and more excessive, he uses space and time magic to travel from one planet to another, from one realm to another, from one universe to another.
Another million years passed, because of the infinite experience in knowledge, and power, made Ahn's personality worse. He felt to be an extremely powerful and invincible entity in any case so upon returning to his original world, he treated the other Nine Continents Holder arbitrarily.
After returning from tracing the entire universe, Ahn also made one person a descendant. He was the first descendant, and the one with the second purest blood afterwards. The first descendant inherited Ahn's bad nature and attitude so the two became a disaster for the world itself.
Seeing this makes the Creator angry. The Creator then creates a planet that is more special, and more extreme with its inhabitants who are no less evil and powerful.
They are referred to as the Dark Race, and are created from the most impure dark particles in the entire universe. By the will of the Creator, the planet of the Dark Race was linked to the planet on which Ahn and the other Holder Continents lived.
The Creator then set a time limit preventing the breakup of the barrier separating the two planets from coming together for five hundred thousand years. The Creator warned Ahn to change his attitude, but Ahn ignored it.
Five hundred thousand years later ...
Long story short, the war continued for four hundred thousand years. All the people who lived in the world fell, and left only the nine Continents Holder, including Ahn the strongest.
The culmination of the war is when the Nine Continents Holder unite to fight against an entity that bears the title of Dark God. The nine people united together, uniting their strength with all of their body and soul until they finally managed to defeat the Dark God by sealing it.
But the unfortunate thing was, the other eight Continents Holder had to die in the process because the divine power shaped [Crown] within them broke apart, and were not strong enough to withstand the power of the Dark God who was too strong.
In the end, in the shattered world only Ahn was left alone. When fighting the Dark Race he realized that he was nothing, he also increasingly understood that relationships with others were very influential in their struggle.
Now he felt empty and sad because the friends who had fought with him were gone. Ahn asked the Creator to take his life so that he could meet other Continents Holder in a different place.
However, the Creator offers something else, namely that the eight Continents Holder will come back to life with a new [Crown] within them on the condition that Ahn should be able to change his attitude.
Ahn unceremoniously agreed to it, then the entire world recovered from the damage and the other eight Continents Holder lived once more. They then made everything from scratch, as well as Ahn who decided to make a descendant and establish civilization as well as others.
Ahn made one first descendant, and the descendant turned out to have the same soul as the offspring he had previously made. The offspring also had a hidden bad attitude so that at some point the offspring planned a heinous thing.
One thing Ahn did not realize was that the test given by the Creator was still going on. Through the intermediation of the bad attitude of his descendants, Ahn was given a thing that made him regret for life, which is to attach importance to feelings and even let his descendants continue to live even though he knew how his attitude was so bad and arrogant.
Once, that first descendant instigated the Continents Holder of the Demon Race, The Demon Monarch to kill Ahn, his own parents. The descendant also instigated several other Continents Holder, but he managed to instigate only three of the eight, namely The Demon Monarch, The Angel Monarch, and The Fairy Monarch.
The first descendants instigated them in a way that brought up the past, where Ahn had treated them arbitrarily and looked down on them. The evil plan then continues unbeknownst to Ahn himself.
Time passed, Ahn who had made many offspring now decided to make a new offspring, namely humans. Human is the Blood Devil who was deliberately not given blood by Ahn directly.
According to Ahn, the existence of the Blood Devil who had his blood was extremely dangerous and would likely create another himself in the future so he would prefer to create a human who possessed ordinary strength.
Ahn then held a conference with other Continents Holder, and he firmly stated that humans now replaced the Blood Devil as the nine main races.
Ahn's shocking actions then added to the hatred of the three Continents Holder who had been instigated. His first offspring also felt hate, and he began to carry out a very crazy plan.
The first descendant, and the other three Continents Holder team up to kill Ahn when he is off guard.
Ahn also managed to kill them in a sad way, which is an unforgivable betrayal. In the final seconds, Ahn broke his soul into hundreds of thousands of shards to be scattered throughout the universe and inhabited planets.
Of the many planets that exist, Ahn only managed to unite one fragment of his soul to the soul of someone who came from Earth. He is a man named Neren Alvian who is an ordinary man with no special powers.
Ahn's soul consciousness was still too strong for a human at the time so he decided to fall asleep for a while. When Neren Alvian will die, then he will take over his soul and clean up all the wrongs he has ever done in the world.
However, fate says otherwise because someone has interfered in this matter so Neren Alvian is the one who turned to control the soul and power of Ahn through the intermediary of the Cothenic Game.
Ahn's soul was resurrected, but only limited to consciousness in Neren Alvian who has now turned into Anryzel Dirvaren. Perhaps the reason why Neren Alvian chose "Anryzel Dirvaren" as his new name was also influenced by Ahn's soul.
And that was all the events that Ahn had gone through. Some parts were not remembered so much by him that he told things that were important to Ren.
"Oh yes, I remember ... Ren was the name of one of my pets in the past, wasn't that a good name?"
Ren who focused on listening to the story while drinking tea instantly choked and vomited out what he was drinking. With a shocked and unaccepting expression, he voiced out a protest.
"Wait, why is there such a ridiculous coincidence? There are billions of words you can use, why are you using my name as a pet name?!"
The figure then laughed loudly, "Hahaha, I don't know either. Besides, Ren is the name of a garuda I ride a lot."
BRAKK!
Ren smacked the table while grumbling, "Damn it, I'll make sure everyone calls me a different way later!"
"Have it, it's over .. My story isn't over. Are you sure you want to stop?"
Ren relaxes the body, then sits back while focusing on listening to further stories. Although he was an emotion, but information was more important for now.
"My first descendant, no, probably the second .. he seemed to be betrayed as well by the three Continents Holder allied with him."
Ren raised an eyebrow feeling astonished, "There's this kind of thing as well?"
"Yes, before actually falling asleep in your soul, I briefly looked back at this world for a moment, and seeing my descendants being thrown into the gate between this world and the world of the Dark Race by those three Continents Holder."
This time Ren showed a stunned but annoyed expression at the same time. "Tch, even in soul form you can still do something like that?"
"Hahaha, I'm just looking from a distance. After all, after tearing a bit of a seal to throw it, the three Continents Holders were wrong in estimating something. Their strength was too weak to repair it, as a result the remaining Continents Holder regained consciousness and again sacrificed their souls to seal the gate once again."
Ren thought that was funny.
"All of them sacrificed themselves? Why would the three traitors be willing to sacrifice themselves, they were too stupid to be traitors."
The figure explains.
"Simple, it takes at least eight Continents Holders to re-seal open cracks. Even if they insist on not helping to re-seal the crack, the world will re-enter destruction, and they will still be wiped out in the end."
"Hm, hm, I get it, so I do."
"Well .. I think you know quite a lot. The rest I will leave to you, your life is yours, but your power bears the responsibility of mine. And because of that, I want you to clear up my mistake, just think of it as a payment for my incredible strength."
Hearing that statement, Ren felt a little unaccepting. Ahn was the one who forced himself to fuse with his soul, the mistake in the plan was purely due to fate saying otherwise, then why would he casually say that Ren should pay for his mistake?
"What kind of empty "mong is that. I don't want to do a task that sounds very troublesome" Ren said.
Yet the figure casually smiled brightly, "True? And all the evils you exterminated are already in the process of correcting my guilt."
"T-No way, everything?" asked Ren a little deceived.
"Right, I feel like all the trouble that comes your way will end at the same point. Therefore fight vigorously, understand?"
The figure then slowly faded away, not giving Ren the slightest chance to fight back. But before he actually disappeared, the figure gave a hint to Ren.
"Bloody Palace of the Monarch is my amazing property. It was a palace that could float in the sky, but to activate it required a key that was in the temple of your adoring people."
Ren smiled full of anger, he muttered inwardly, "Even the architecture of the palace that I created in the game, turned out to be affected by your soul. Geez, really been fooled all this time."
