CHAPTERS 10. Dinner banquet

A black mercedes car drove into the Nusa Dua area, a five-star hotel area in Bali. Tonight there will be a special dinner held at Hotel W.

The guests were from businessmen and conglomerates. Most guests present bring a partner, can be a wife, boyfriend, or girlfriend.

Chandra Wijaya is known as a great and smart young CEO. The Jayanata company, which was a subsidiary under his leadership for five years, grew rapidly. In addition Chandra is the successor of Wijaya Company which is the number one company in Bali.

Chandra just nodded his head at the organizer who opened the door for him, then Chandra walked up to the other car door and opened it.

Chandra stretched out his hand and saw a smooth and pliable hand welcoming Chandra's helping hand. Everyone in the ballroom was curious about the lucky lady who was Chandra's partner tonight.

Though Chandra has never brought a companion to every dinner and also never spread the news that Chandra has a lover.

"Dian," muttered Stefan.

The smile on the corner of Gisel's lips was lost when he heard Stefan mention Dian's name. Gisel's mood went bad. His eyes stared intently at the woman who was Chandra's current partner, while his hands embraced Stefan's arms even tighter.

The gazes of everyone's eyes twinkled at the figure of the woman who was embracing Chandra's arm affectionately. The woman was wearing a satin long red dress with a sprinkling of diamonds and a cheongsam-style Chinese collar.

Dian's makeup is very beautiful and charming. Dian's current appearance is very different from the appearance of geeky when Dian became Stefan's wife.

Gisel knows Dian's geeky appearance from the photo sent by Anastasia, even Dian's mobile number was obtained by Gisel through Stefan's sister.

While Stefan frowned, he stared intently at Dian's hand that was embracing Chandra's friendly arm. Of course Dian and Chandra also saw Stefan standing not far from the two of them.

Chandra and Dian's affection makes everyone second-guess Dian's identity. Chandra shook hands with every businessman who approached her.

Stefan approached Chandra, but Stefan's eyes were not diverted from Dian's. The young girl stood beside Chandra with a radiant face and a dazzling smile.

Stefan could hardly believe Dian standing before him was his geeky ex-wife. Dian's appearance was different one hundred percent from before making the young girl even more attractive and radiant, as if for two weeks Dian had already turned into another figure and felt foreign.

"Was Dian gone, she was with Chandra?" stefan's heart.

"CEO Chandra," said Stefan as he moved his right-hand man to shake Chandra's hand.

"CEO Stefan," Chandra replied with an expressionless face and replied strongly to Stefan's hand.

Stefan was still staring at Dian's face without blinking a second, while Dian did not give a single glance to Stefan. It was as if he didn't know Stefan.

This made Stefan's mood grim. Gisel who felt Stefan's cold aura became panicked and furious with Dian's appearance.

"Dians. Why did you come here?" gisel asked kindly.

"I don't know you," Dian replied casually.

"Dians. You must be upset about the rumor I was having an affair with Stefan. That's not true. We're both innocent" Gisel said.

Gisel's words earned him a sharp glare from Stefan, but Gisel pretended not to notice. Even Gisel deliberately wanted to announce the status of Dian as Stefan's ex-wife to everyone, especially to Chandra Wijaya.

Gisel believes Chandra is unaware of Dian's status as a widow and wants to ruin Dian and Chandra's relationship. Gisel thinks Dian has Chandra as Stefan's replacement. Her envious nature makes Gisel want to see Dian live in agony rather than happy as he is today.

"Candra's CEO must not have known about Dian and Stefan's relationship" Gisel told Chandra.

"Dians. You know CEO Stefan?" Chandra pretends to ask Dian to follow the drama played by Gisel.

"Former," answered Dian.

"Oh! The ex who cheated on her," Chandra said while giving a derogatory look at Gisel from head to toe.

"Let's go inside. It's cold in here," Chandra asked as she looked at Dian gently.

Chandra and Dian join hands in the ballroom leaving Stefan and Gisel.

Stefan looked at the back of Dian who disappeared from his sight for a long time, then removed Gisel's hand from his arm.

"An hour in the lobby" Stefan said.

Stefan left Gisel to join other business associates, while Gisel clenched his hands holding back anger.

"Fuck you, Dian! I will definitely repay you!" the heart of Gisel.

Gisel follows her into the ballroom of Hotel W and searches for Dian there.
