CHAPTER 34. Romantic dinner

Black prosche car stops in front of Italian Restaurant. Billy gets off the wheel and opens the car door for Dian. Then give the car keys to a man who is a valet parking attendant.

Billy elbowed his left hand at the waist so Dian wrapped his arm there. The two of them walked side by side into the Italian restaurant.

"Order the place in Billy's name" Billy said to the waiter standing near the entrance.

"Billie and Miss. Come!" the waiter answered, letting Billy and Dian close the table Billy had ordered.

The melodious groove of classical music, the combination of piano and violin, is clear. Some couples dance to music.

Dian spread her eyes around. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very romantic with a candle flame on each dining table. Dian realized that each dining table had only two chairs.

"This restaurant is specifically for couples" said Dian.

"Please sit Mr. Billy and miss" said the female restaurant waiter kindly.

"Thank you," Billy and Dian replied simultaneously.

Billy pulled one of the chairs for Dian to sit down first before himself sitting in front of Dian.

"Princesses. Do you like this restaurant?" ask Billy.

"The atmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasant. I guess the food is good too" replied Dian.

Dian observed most of the couples who ate there spending the food on her plate.

"Ossobuco in this restaurant is very famous. I ordered it" Billy said.

"Ossobuco alla millanese? I haven't tasted it in a long time" said Dian with sparkling eyes.

Billy smiled broadly at Dian's reaction. Billy knows Dian really likes to taste various foods from different countries and will cook them with variations according to the taste and gastronomy of Dian.

Ossobuco alla milanese is a popular Italian food.

It uses a veal spine, cooked for about three hours and low to gentle temperatures in meat broths, white wine, and vegetables.

Dian smelled fresh flowers and saw the waiter bring a bouquet of red roses to Billy.

"Dians. This flower is for you" said Billy.

Dian's call is usually done by Billy and Leon when they are serious compared to the princess call when they hang out together.

"Thank you Billy" Dian replied and placed the bouquet on the table.

The restaurant waitress caught the appetizer in front of Dian and Billy.

"Carpaccio is very fresh" said Dian.

"Yes. Let's taste it now" said Billy.

They both tasted carpaccio in the form of thin slices of raw fish with olive oil, cheese shavings, and lemon.

Dian lowered her head enjoying the dishes served by the restaurant waiter while having a light chat with Billy. The young girl seemed more interested in culinary than the scenery and music around her.

The dinner ended with a tiramisu dessert, a non-roasted parfait with a soft layer of mascarpone cheese and a coffee-soaked finger cake.

"The food at this restaurant is delicious. Next time we can take Kak Rina, Tasha, and Leon," Dian said as he picked up a wine glass from the table and sipped it slowly.

Dian almost choked on the wine and put the glass on the table quickly.

"Are you kidding?" ask Dian.

"I'm not kidding, Dian. I've liked you for five years. Just when I wanted to express my feelings, you had to go to America for four years to go to college and make your childhood dream come true to be like aunty Rossy who was good at cooking. I'm willing to wait for you to come home, but the wedding news I got. Now that you're divorced, I won't let go of this opportunity again" Billy said with a serious face and clasped Dian's hands tightly on the table.

Dian was stunned to hear Billy's explanation. She did not expect Billy to sacrifice so much time for her.

Dian and Billy did not realize in one corner of the restaurant, there were two pairs of eyes watching them silently.

"Fa! You see Billy's grasp and friendly gaze. She's really in love with your ex" Rizky said in a small voice for fear of being heard by Dian.

Stefan's face became even colder because of Rizky's words. Stefan averted his eyes from Dian's desk and looked down at the food in front of him.

Somehow the delicious Ossobuco tasted bland in Stefan's mouth.

Since the incident at the Vallkyrie Club, Rizky locked himself in the Martin Mansion while monitoring magazine developments and the internet whether there were scattered innocent photos.

In the end Rizky ventured out after a few days without any warm gossip about her. Rizky goes to find Stefan and apologizes for knowing his words had made Stefan riled at the time so Stefan left him on the side of the road.

Rizky also invited Stefan to dinner at this Italian restaurant because there is a very famous and delicious Ossobuco menu. Although this restaurant is specifically for couples, Rizky forced his way in and insisted on eating there.

The waiter of the restaurant could not refuse and drove Rizky away. The guest is king. Rizky deliberately chose a seat in the corner of the restaurant so as not to be the center of attention of other couples.

Rizky does not expect Dian and Billy to also eat at the same restaurant so Rizky watches secretly so that Dian and Billy do not know his whereabouts.

The experience at the Vallkyrie Club made Rizky learn a lot and did not dare to offend Dian again so that his innocent photos are not widespread throughout the world, but her bucket mouth could not be conditioned to gossip Dian in a small voice to Stefan.

Rizky glanced at Stefan who was eating with an expressionless face as well as a cold aura spreading from the man's body. Rizky closed her mouth shut while occasionally stealing glances at Dian and Billy's desk.

"I know you're not ready to start a new relationship. Give me a chance to prove the sincerity of my heart. One year! Yeah, like you gave Stefan a year to be with. I will fight for your love in one year. If you find the true love of another man before a year, I will give up. All I want is to see you happy" Billy said solemnly.

Although Billy is a playful bunny type man, but in terms of romantic relationships, Billy can turn into a serious and reliable figure.

"Alright Billy. Thank you for your sincere love" said Dian.

Dian believes Billy can make the right decisions like himself when he realizes between the two of them can only create family feelings and not feelings of love.

"Come princess. Follow me dancing to heal my broken heart because my declaration of love was rejected" Billy jokingly said.

"alright. Don't step on my new high heels" replied Dian.

"Don't worry. My dance experience is no less than yours" Billy said as he pulled Dian's hand toward the center of the restaurant to join the dance with another couple.
