Stefan quickly stepped onto the stage, then carried Dian spontaneously and brought the young girl down from there.

The musicians played a new line of cheerful music so that other dancers continued the performance on stage.

Attention of the guests also focused back on the stage. Most of them have known about Stefan and Dian's close relationship lately so they are not too surprised by Stefan's attitude to hold Dian off the stage.

The two bodyguards flanked Gisel in the middle and carried the shameless girl out of the Tatum Mansion. Chandra and Kelvin did not come out because their plan with Stefan before, will be run by both bodyguards.

Gisel's face became increasingly pale as he saw two men dressed in police uniforms standing outside the Tatum Mansion. One of the policemen took out the handcuffs and put them in Gisel's hands.

"I am innocent! Why arrest me?" shout Gisel.

Gisel was sure that the two bodyguards leading him were Wijaya Family bodyguards, but why did the police interfere in this matter?

Gisel is very confident the authorities have no solid evidence to link him to Dian's accident a while ago.

"Miss Gisel! You are under arrest for the attempted murder of Mr. Yadi" one of the police said unequivocally.

"A murder attempt? I didn't do anything! This must be the Wijaya Family's trap!" squeak Gisel.

"Do you remember how you escaped from Mr. Adi's house?" ask the other policeman patiently.

Gisel was stunned for a moment to hear the police sir's question. His mind recalls his miserable life since his father's company went bankrupt.

His father sold Gisel to be the fifth wife of Yadi, the stray-nose old grandfather who was a me*um. From this day on, his world is like being in prison.

At the beginning of the marriage, Yadi beat Gisel every day because Gisel was often unwilling to comply with Yadi's request and tried to escape. Even Gisel was locked up in the room and heavily guarded by Yadi's mercenary bodyguards.

In the end Gisel pretended to be submissive and served all Yadi's requests so that gradually the old man did not limit him so much that Gisel was allowed to come out and began to devise a plan to escape again.

Gisel managed to trick Yadi into getting rid of the two bodyguards who were guarding the house, on the grounds that he wanted to surprise and spend time alone with Yadi.

Gisel prepares a romantic candlelight dinner and also a bottle of red wine to enjoy. Yadi liked all the surprises given by Gisel so he complied with the request of his young wife without feeling suspicious in the slightest.

It turned out that the red wine that Gisel prepared had been put in a high dose of sleeping medicine so that Gisel could escape while Yadi was sound asleep.

"The sleeping pills you gave caused Mr. Yadi to go into a coma until now" said the police officer.

Gisel's body trembled hearing the police's words. Gisel regretted not finding out in advance the side effects of sleeping pills against some diseases that have been eating away at Yadi's body slowly.

His desire to escape from Yadi's clutches was very strong and to take for granted that sleeping medicine was just an ordinary medicine with no adverse effects.

"Let's go to the police station now!" said the other police officer while opening the back car door.

Gisel stepped foot helplessly and got into the police car. The young woman realized her life would end behind bars.

The two bodyguards watched and made sure the police car left the Tatum Mansion first, before reporting it to Chandra and Kelvin.

While in the room, Stefan sat Dian in the chair. Tonight Dian wore a jumpsuit so she could dance ballet freely. "Wait a minute, Dian!" said Stefan.

"Yes," Dian replied as he nodded his head.

Stefan ran back to where he was and picked up a pair of high heels owned by Dian, then returned to the young girl's front.

Stefan knelt on one leg and helped Dian wear high heels one by one, while Dian sat quietly and stared intently at Stefan's serious face.

Dian could feel Stefan's concern, tenderness, and possessiveness towards her more than usual. Was it because Stefan was afraid of himself recalling the bad memories of their first marriage due to the appearance of Gisel?

Stefan stood up and pulled Dian's hand so that the young girl stood up. They're facing each other.

Stefan stared intensely at Dian's face. His hand also tightly grasped the young girl's hand, as if afraid of letting go again.

"Dians. You're the little ballerina girl I met at the Hartono Restaurant, right?" stefan asked with a trembling voice.

Dian was stunned for a moment because of Stefan's question. Dian didn't expect Stefan to still remember their first meeting at Thomas' grandfather's restaurant.

"Yes, right!" answer Dian.

"You've known me since the Las Vegas bar?" ask Stefan.

Dian smiled small and pulled slowly with Stefan's shirt on Stefan's right wrist up to show a heart-shaped birthmark.

Stefan lowered his head and saw clearly his own birthmark. The birthmark he once displayed to little Dian.

Stefan believes the birthmark caused Dian to apply for one year of their marriage to give her a chance to recall their first meeting.

Stefan grabbed Dian's body and hugged her tightly, regardless of them being at Adi Tatum's birthday party.

"I'm sorry I realized it too late! Thank you for giving me a second chance!" stefan said in a hoarse voice.

Once again Dian was stunned by Stefan's words. A warm and warm feeling enveloped Dian's heart. At the moment Dian believes Stefan has never forgotten her and that is more than enough.

Maybe their love journey was not smooth from the beginning, but Dian believes the second chance obtained by the two of them at this time will not be wasted by Stefan and himself again.

"Don't let me down again" Dian said with a small laugh.

Stefan let go of his embrace and kissed Dian's head crest gently.

"I'll never let you down again!" stefan's Promise.

He nodded his head while smiling happily. Stefan moved his face spontaneously and lowered his head to kiss Dian on the lips.

Two loud voices made Stefan undo his intentions. I don't know since when Chandra and Kelvin have been standing on their left and right sides.

The two possessive twin sisters stared intently at Stefan. Stefan released his embrace from Dian's body quickly.

"Sister Chandra! Brother Kelvin!" greet Stefan politely while bowing 90 degrees towards Chandra and Kelvin alternately.

Dian held back her laughter seeing Stefan's awkward and disinclined attitude towards Chandra and Kelvin.

"Dian! Grandpa Iko's birthday cake cut has already started! Come join together," take Chandra.

"Both Chandra," Dian answered obediently.

Chandra gave a sharp look again from overhead to Stefan's toe before leaving the two of them. Kelvin follows Chandra's way of intimidating Stefan.

Stefan replied with a wide smile at the corner of his lips. The young man was not offended by Chandra and Kelvin's attitude.

Stefan knew Chandra and Kelvin loved Dian very much. Their current attitude is in retaliation for her actions of wasting Dian in the first marriage.

Stefan is willing to accept punishment from Vijaya's extended family, provided they approve of his current relationship with Dian.

"Come Fan!" take Dian with you and pull Stefan's hand.

The two of them joined the other invited guests below the stage in a happy mood.
