CHAPTER 93. Two liars

***Ballroom hotel where business dinner is***

Ellen looked at Dian with a face of embarrassment blushing over the matter of her engagement, as if confirming what Naomi had said.

"Business wedding?" dian said with a small laugh.

In the end Dian understood the hidden intent of Adi Bramasta related to Anjas. Dian suspects that there is a business marriage agreement between Adi and Anjas. Of course Stefan didn't know that.

While Ellen and Naomi looked at Dian intently with a confused feeling. The two of them did not understand why Dian had chuckled after hearing the news of Naomi's business marriage to Stefan.

Dance music is playing in the hotel ballroom. The guests also danced in pairs. Dian folded her hands in front of her chest while waiting for what the two evil women in front of her wanted to say.

Suddenly Kelvin came to Dian with a smile. Naomi's cheeks blushed red and looked at Kelvin with a sparkling gaze.

Kelvin extended his right hand to Dian. "Let's dance, Dian!" bring Kelvin.

"Sister Kelvin don't remember him? He said he was a partner at Fashion Week Paris" Dian said, pointing at Naomi.

"Unacquainted. You're my dance partner now" Kelvin said, gently stroking Dian's head.

Simultaneously, Stefan arrived at the hotel ballroom and saw Kelvin's friendly attitude towards Dian. Stefan tried to resist his urge to break Kelvin's nosy hand that touched Dian's head.

Rizky approached Stefan quickly. Rizky had been inside the ballroom since the beginning, but did not dare to appear near Dian and just watched from a distance.

Although Rizky knew Dian and Stefan's relationship had improved, but the innocent photo was still in Dian's hands so Rizky was cautious.

"Fa! Why did Dian come with Kelvin? Aren't you guys better?" ask Rizky curiously.

Stefan did not answer Rizky's question but rather stepped his foot closer to Dian. Rizky closed her mouth and followed Stefan from behind.

"Kelvin! Don't take advantage of this widow! He likes to change partners. Your name can be bad if it gets too close to her" Naomi said in a voice so loud that some of the guests turned to her at the same time.

Stefan's face grew colder because of Naomi's words. Stefan is very sorry for his past stupidity that led to Dian getting the widow title.

Kelvin's anger was heightened by Naomi's words. "Your mouth smells like shit! Why would this banquet place accept a mentally disturbed person like you! Crazy woman!" kelvin said with ketus.

Naomi's face became pale as the color of paper because it was branded a mad woman by Kelvin. Her body trembled so much that Ellen stepped forward and protected Naomi behind her body.

"Sorry Kelvin. Naomi didn't mean anything bad. Naomi's just worried about you." Ellen tried to defend Naomi because the invited guests turned to them, whispering to each other about Naomi and herself.

"You who? I don't know you two!" kelvin said in a firm voice.

This time it was Ellen's turn to feel humiliated by Kelvin. All this time Ellen felt she was famous enough in Bali so that a successful model like Kelvin must have recognized her and would give face to her, but her hope ran aground instantly.

Ellen stood up agitatedly and tried to think hard how to get out of this awkward and embarrassing situation right now.

Ellen's eyes twinkled at Stefan standing among the crowd of invited guests. Ellen stepped on her feet quickly, approaching Stefan. It was as if Stefan was his savior god.

"Stefans! You've come" said Ellen with a sweet smile.

Rizky's question made the guest's focus switch to Stefan. Even Dian and Kelvin were waiting for an answer from Stefan's mouth.

Stefan glanced at Naomi who was looking at him with enthusiasm and a big smile. Stefan threw his face away quickly and looked at Dian with a gentle look.

"Dian! I don't know him!" stefan replied firmly.

Stefan's reply to Dian made the guests understand Stefan's intentions. Young men don't want Dian to misunderstand her relationship with another woman.

Ellen's body became tense for a moment. The smile on his face quickly disappeared. Dian smiled faintly looking at Ellen's panicked face.

"Stefans! You don't know your own fiancee?" dian asked while pointing at Ellen.

"Dian! I don't have a fiancee. Don't believe the nonsense of others. It was all a lie. Who said it?" ask Stefan.

Stefan guessed that before his arrival, Dian must have heard rumors that were not true so he had to explain the misunderstanding right now.

"So they both said it," Dian replied as she pointed at Naomi and Ellen alternately.

Once again Ellen and Naomi became the center of attention. Everyone was waiting for an answer from the two of them. Even Naomi herself felt awkward because Stefan did not claim Ellen as her fiance.

"Allen! Explain to them all!" insist Naomi. She does not want to be labeled as a liar, which will make her career as a model threatened.

"I heard about the business marriage plan between the Jayakencana Family and the Bramasta Family from my father. I should have been waiting for the new certainty to announce it," Ellen said as she looked at Stefan with a hearty look.

It was Anjas who told Ellen that the Bramasta Family most likely wanted to do a business marriage between Stefan and Ellen. Even large projects of the Bramasta Company will be submitted to the Jayakencana Company.

Ellen didn't expect Stefan to still not know this. Ellen hoped Stefan would defend her after hearing an explanation from her.

"I'll never do a business wedding with you!" push Stefan down firmly.

Stefan's words are like cold water that doused Ellen's body so that it extinguished all the beautiful dreams of Ellen becoming Stefan's mistress in the future.

Ellen ran away from the hotel ballroom quickly. Stefan's blatant rejection made Ellen lose face and feel humiliated. Naomi then ran after Ellen.

"Let's just go home," asked Kelvin.

"Yes" answered Dian.

Dian agrees with Kelvin. At this time Dian also lost interest in being inside the hotel ballroom.

"I'm also home now" Stefan told Rizky.

Rizky could only shake her head to see Stefan following Dian from behind.
