CHAPTER 85. Nightmares

***Dian bedroom at Wijaya Mansion***

"Fa! The fan! Wake Fan!" scream Dian.

Dian woke up from her sleep due to a nightmare. In her dream Dian saw Stefan covered in blood in the middle of the road and did not want to wake up even though Dian called him repeatedly.

Cold sweat splashed on Dian's forehead. His body was trembling too. His breathing is irregular. Dian circled her gaze around and realized she was in the bedroom, not on the highway near Hartono Restaurant.

"Mimi! Mimi's having a nightmare?"

Mao Mao's loud and cheerful voice made Dian turn to her bedside. It turned out that Mao Mao accompanied Dian to sleep in the room.

Since returning home from a secret research place, Mao Mao officially became a member of the small Wijaya family. Rossy is very fond of Mao Mao because red pandas are very smart and sweet-mouthed give praise to Rossy.

An animal mattress of the same shape and color with an animal mattress that was in Dian's apartment, was placed near the young girl's bed.

Mr. Lesmana deliberately bought the same type of animal mattress with a mattress in the apartment because Mao Mao was used to sleeping with a soft mattress.

The young girl got out of bed, then opened the wardrobe to choose a clean set of clothes before entering the bathroom.

Mao Mao stared at the back of Dian who disappeared inside the bathroom, then jumped down from the bed towards the door of the room.

Mao Mao presses the door handle open, then runs out looking for Rossy in the kitchen, to tell Dian a nightmare.

***Mansion dining room Wijaya***

"Good morning daddy, mommy, Brother Chandra, Brother Kelvin!" greet Dian cheerfully upon arriving at the dining room.

"Good morning Dian" Jackson, Rossy, Kelvin, and Chandra answered.

"Morning Mimi!" greet Mao Mao when Dian is already sitting in front of the dining table.

Dian turned to the source of the voice and saw Mao Mao sitting quietly beside Rossy's chair. It was only fitting that when he came out of the bathroom, Mao Mao was no more. The red panda was in the dining room.

Dian tasted Rossy's special fried rice quietly. The members of the Wijaya Family knew Dian did not want them to worry so he showed a cheerful and calm attitude, even though the shackles in his heart were still not released.

"Dians. What about the wounds on your body? The pain is less?" ask Rossy.

"Already, mommy. Sleeping all night makes my body healthier now" Dian replied.

"The driver who hit you has been caught. The drunk was paid twenty million by Anggi to harm you" Jackson said.

"Watch?" asked Dian in a tone of disbelief.

"Gisel provoked him. Ever since that crazy woman came home to Bali, she called Anggi every day!" chandra clear.

"Sopir and Anggi will never get out of jail. Gisel's father's company went bankrupt last night. They and their families are running away from debt collectors" Chandra said.

"Daddy has asked Bagaskara to provide two of the best bodyguards to protect you. From today wherever you go, you must be accompanied by a bodyguard!" jackson said firmly.

"Good daddy," replied Dian.

"The Wijaya family will take responsibility and return the favor of Stefan who saved your life, but we will not grant any excessive requests that harm your happiness, Dian! Don't worry!" said Jackson.

"That's right, Dian. Maybe you realize Stefan likes you too, but we all prioritize your desires and happiness. Make no mistake in taking another step" Chandra suggested.

Both Jackson, Chandra, Rossy, and Kelvin are very grateful to Stefan who saved Dian's life, but they all do not want Stefan to use that goodwill to ask for a reunion with Dian.

"I understand daddy, Brother Chandra!" dian replied while nodding his head.

"So Bagaskara called saying Stefan was awake. The situation is stable" Jackson said.

"Daddy. Can I take a week off work?" dian asked suddenly.

"Of course you can!" answer Jackson.

Jackson knew Dian wanted to spend a week visiting Stefan during his stay at Healing Hands Hospital.

"Mommy's already cooking herbal soup. You can take him to the hospital" Rossy said.

"Good mommy," replied Dian.

"What time do you want to go? Mr. Benjamin will take you. Both bodyguards are ready to wait for you in front of the mansion" Jackson said.

"Half an hour, but I'll find Felix first. I had a nightmare last night" Dian said.

"Need mommy to accompany?" asked Rossy enthusiastically.

"Okay mommy," replied Dian with a small smile.

Rossy is thrilled that Dian took the initiative to meet Felix to consult about his nightmare.

Felix is a senior psychiatrist and once helped Jackson overcome past trauma so Rossy believes Felix can help Dian.

The mood of Jackson, Chandra, and Kelvin is the same as Rossy. They all felt happy that Dian was willing to face the trauma she experienced yesterday.
