CHAPTER 21. Diamonds and pumice stones

***Mansion Wijaya***

Leon stuffed Dian's cabin-size suitcase into the trunk of his blue mercedes benz car, while Dian had gotten into the white porsche steering wheel and started the car's engine.

"Leon. Your job is to bring Dian's suitcase to the apartment. Tasha and I are in Dian's new car" Sherina said.

"Okay, sister Rina," replied Leon obediently.

Earlier this morning Leon picked up Sherina first, then picked up Natasha before heading to the Wijaya Mansion. They deliberately use one car only to be able to chat in the car.

Dian drove a white porsche car to Regal Residence Apartment. Throughout the trip Natasha told me about her work that was exhibited on the stage of New York Fashion Week, Las Vegas.

Natasha is an accomplished young designer and also a student of Raisa, Sherina's mother. The success of her work attracted many people in Las Vegas and the young girl planned to create a private fashion show for her Tasha fashion label later in the month in Bali.

Dian and Sherina are delighted to hear the good news and support Natasha's one hundred percent desire and promise to attend a private fashion show.

"Mama's coming home from Paris in two days. Mama must be glad her favorite student made the feat in Las Vegas" Sherina said.

Although many countries and cities that hold fashion week, there are only four world fashion cities that are famous in the implementation of fashion week or better known “big four fashion week".

Famous fashion weeks are New York, London, Milan, and Paris. The four fashion weeks became a reference in the fashion world because the pioneer of the fashion week consistently maintained its reputation.

Natasha attended fashion week in Las Vegas, while Raisa in Paris and Kelvin were models in Paris.

"Sir Kelvin came home at the end of the month because there was still a photo shoot there" said Dian.

"Yes. Mom once said that. Many famous Parisian magazines are interested in displaying Kelvin photos in special editions" Sherina said.

"If Chandra doesn't become CEO, you can follow in Kelvin's footsteps" Dian joked.

"Chandra wasn't used to smiling loosely in front of the camera" Sherina said.

"yes too. Except when I was on Rina's side," said Dian with a small laugh.

Sherina's face flushed like fresh tomatoes because of Dian's words. Sherina suddenly remembered something to reply to Dian's joke.

"Dians. Billy said he'd come after you if you got divorced, "Sherina said seriously.

Dian accidentally hit the brakes hard because of the red light and also Sherina said.

"Sister Rina's kidding, right?" dian asked as he turned towards Sherina who was sitting beside the wheel. Natasha who was sitting in the back seat also moved her body because of curiosity.

"I'm serious, Dian. Leon told me. When Billy found out you were married, he was drunk all night. Leon and Dion accompanied him at that moment and they heard it straight from Billy's mouth" Sherina replied confidently.

Although Leon was often nosy and ignorant, but the young man always spoke honestly to Sherina so Dian believed Sherina's words.

"Maybe Billy's under the influence of alcohol. I just consider him a close friend like all of you. Likewise for Leon and Dion," said Dian while focusing on driving the car again because the traffic light was green.

"Yes. We've all been friends since childhood. It's possible that the seeds of love have sprouted in Billy's heart and you don't realize it" Sherina said.

Dian was speechless hearing the wise words from Sherina. The young girl could not argue with him because she was stuck with the desire to get Stefan as her first love.

"Dians. What if Billy declares love to you?" ask Natasha.

"I'll reject it. Friends are more valuable to me than girlfriends. I hope Billy will let go of those shackles like I am today so that our friendship is not broken" Dian replied.

"Stefan is stupid! Letting go of diamonds for pumice stones" Sherina said.

"Just let that jerk drown with a pumice stone" Natasha said.

"The sinking was in the pool," Sherina said excitedly.

The three of them laughed at the same time as Dian pushed Gisel into the pool and doused him with red wine.

Twenty minutes later their car arrived at Regal Residence Apartment. Dian stopped his car in the apartment lobby and opened the car window when he saw Bagaskara and one of his men standing there.

"Om Bagaskara." Dian replied to Bagaskara's greeting.

"Good to help miss parking her car in the basement" Bagaskara said.

"All right," said Dian.

The three of them opened the seat belt before getting out of the car, while Leon drove his car to the basement of the apartment.

Dian, Sherina, Natasha, and Bagaskara enter the elevator to the fifth floor. Inside the elevator, Bagaskara explains the security system he installed inside the apartment to Dian.

"Thank you for your help, Om Bagaskara" Dian said as they arrived at Dian's apartment door.

"Together Miss Dian. It is my duty to maintain the safety and security of Miss Dian. If there's anything to add, you can call me again. I'll say it first" said Bagaskara.

"Okay, Om Bagaskara. Be careful on the road" answered Dian.

"Be careful on Om Bagaskara Street" Sherina and Natasha said.

"Thank you Miss Sherina, Miss Natasha" said Bagaskara.

Dian opens the apartment door and enters with Sherina and Natasha. The three young girls went around looking at the contents of the apartment that had been prepared by Mr. Lesmana and the servant of the Wijaya Mansion.

A few moments later, the doorbell sounded. "Surely Leon. I'll just open it" Sherina said.

Sherina pressed a button on the LCD monitor attached to the wall near the inner entrance of the apartment.

On the monitor screen appeared Leon's face. Sherina smiled mischievously and pressed the intercom voice button. "Who?" ask Sherina.

"It's me, sister Rina," replied Leon.

"Who are you?" ask Sherina again.

"Your most handsome brother. Quickly open the door, brother," replied Leon, then deliberately opened his mouth wide in front of the camera outside the door.

"It's so bad, anyway" said Sherina, opening the door and staring at Leon.

"Sister Rina is nosy first," Leon replied casually stepping inside the apartment.

"Based on the bad sister," Sherina grumbled and closed the door before following Leon from behind.

Leon placed Dian's suitcase in the living room, then circulated his gaze around the room.

"Wow! This apartment is very comfortable. Tonight I'll stay here" Leon said spontaneously.

"Can't! You're a wolf in sheep's clothing. Don't come near Dian!" threaten Sherina with Leon's ears.

"It hurts! Forgive me! Chandra knows if Rina likes kdrt?" ask Leon.

"Basin a bad sister!" sherina said with annoyance.

A chase ensues inside Dian's apartment. Of course Sherina is chasing Leon, while Dian and Natasha are laughing at the behavior of the brother who is like Tom and Jerry.

Since childhood Leon is famous for being naughty and ignorant. Only Sherina can make Leon obey. Everyone knows Leon is not afraid of Sherina but loves his brother.
