CHAPTER 87. One request

***Healing Hands Hospital***

Twenty minutes after Adi Bramasta and Pak Eko left Healing Hands Hospital, Luis walked to the VVIP inpatient room because he had finished lunch in the cafeteria.

"Miss Dian hasn't met CEO Stefan?" ask Luis.

Luis was astonished to see Dian sitting in a patient waiting chair located near Stefan's VVIP inpatient room.

"So I bought fruit on the first floor," Dian replied as he stood up from the chair.

Dian had deliberately stopped by one of the fruit shops that were inside the hospital. Parcels of fresh fruits are available there so that family or closest friends can buy them before visiting patients.

"Let me help you bring the parcel, Miss Dian!" luis said while taking a fruit parcel from the hand of one of the bodyguards.

Luis tried to overcome his horror to see two burly bodyguards standing right on the left and right side of Dian. The two bodyguards with Dian are more visibly sad than the two bodyguards who guarded Stefan last night.

Dian gave a small smile seeing Luis' reaction to both bodyguards. "You just wait here!" dian's Message.

Stefan turned to the door when he heard the door open. The figure of Luis appeared before him along with a large and beautiful bouquet of fruit.

Stefan thought the bouquet must have come from a business partner so he turned his attention from the bedroom door to the mobile screen in his hand.

When Adi leaves in a state of anger, Stefan doesn't care about it. Stefan focused on checking emails containing work reports from the heads of each department.

Although Stefan is currently being treated at Healing Hands Hospital, the young man continues to do his job so that his position as CEO of Bramasta Company is not threatened.

News of the accident that befell Stefan was not widespread because Jackson and Chandra covered it. If not, then it is certain that the shares of Bramasta Company will definitely plummet again.

"Sir Stefan. Miss Dian came to see you," Luis said as he placed a fruit parcel on the table.

Stefan immediately raised his head and saw clearly the figure of Dian standing in front of the room door. "Dian?" mumbling Stefan.

Stefan thought he was hallucinating hearing Luis say Dian came to see him, but when his eyes saw the young girl's face, Stefan was very happy.

Dian walked over to the patient's bed and sat down on the chair next to Stefan.

"How are you Stefan?" ask Dian.

Dian stared at Stefan's bandaged head as well as the young man's right leg in the cast.

"I'm doing fine. Thank you for visiting me" Stefan replied.

"Thank you for helping me" Dian said sincerely.

Luis could feel Dian and Stefan communicating awkwardly and decided to give more privacy to both of them and find a reason to leave.

"CEOs Chandra. I'm going to borrow a fruit knife" Luis said and walked out of the room quickly before Stefan gave an answer.

This time Luis remembered closing the door, even Luis gave a message to the nurse guard not to enter the patient's room within the next hour.

Stefan looked at Dian's hand and elbow that was still wrapped in bandages. "The wound in your hand still hurts? Is it a full body X-ray?" ask Stefan.

"Already x-ray. Just a scuff wound," replied Dian.

The atmosphere of the patient's room became quiet again because Dian and Stefan did not know what to start a conversation about. The two of them may have once looked close because of the bond of marriage, but their relationship both got further and further because of the same bond.

"Oh yes. I brought herbal soup for you," said Dian, to melt the atmosphere.

Dian stood up from the seat, then helped pull the overbed table (patient table meal in bed) to get closer to Stefan.

Dian placed the heating flask on the table and opened it slowly. The fragrant aroma of herbal soup spread in the room. Dian took one bowl from the table drawer and poured all the herbal soup into that bowl.

"Harum right? This herbal soup can help the healing process of your health quickly. Drink it while it's warm" said Dian.

Stefan lifted the bowl containing the herbal soup, blowing it for a while before gulping it down slowly.

"Enak right?" ask Dian.

"Yes. Very yummy. You cooked it?" ask Stefan.

"No! Mommy cooked it," answered Dian honestly.

Stefan was slightly disappointed by Dian's reply, but his disappointment was quickly suppressed. The herbal soup was very valuable because it was cooked by Mrs Wijaya herself. If it wasn't for saving Dian, Stefan could have made sure he would never be able to taste Rossy's cooking.

"Dians. Please say thank you to Mrs Rossy and Mrs Jackson, too" Stefan said.

"alright. Tomorrow I come and bring you the same herbal soup" said Dian.

Dian prepared to leave the patient's room, but Stefan called out to her quickly.

"Dians. Can we talk for a second?" ask Stefan.

"All right" answered Dian. Dian sat quietly beside Stefan, waiting patiently for what Stefan wanted to say.

"Has Stefan been persuaded by Adi's words?" inner Dian.

"Dians. I want you to give me one chance" Stefan said carefully.

"In return for your servant to save me?" ask Dian.

"No! I'm not a sneaky person who's taking advantage of that!" stefan replied firmly.

Dian stared intently at Stefan to find out if the young man in front of him was lying or not.

"What opportunity?" ask Dian, a few moments later.

"One year! I will prove to you that I love you sincerely too. Worry not! I promise I won't hurt you again. If in the end I still can't melt your heart, I'll back off!" stefan answered seriously.

"You want a business wedding?" ask Dian again.

"No! I'll never tie you up in a marriage you hate. I just want to be by your side. Let's say we start with a common friend. Can I?" please Stefan.

"Why did you make this request? You're not afraid that I'll repay you for what you did before" said Dian.

"I'm willing to accept all the retribution from you" Stefan replied.

The atmosphere of the room became quiet. Dian was silent for a long time while thinking about Stefan's request seriously, while Stefan waited for Dian's answer uneasily.

If Dian refuses her request, Stefan can make sure he loses Dian forever. However, Stefan did not dare to urge Dian. Whatever the outcome of Dian's decision, Stefan will accept it.

While Dian recalled the cctv footage shown by Chandra this morning. Cctv footage showing the accident yesterday.

Stefan ran hard towards her and pushed her hard so that Dian was spared from the car collision. It is clear that Stefan did not hesitate to sacrifice his own life to save Dian.
