CHAPTER 52. Shareholders meeting

***Ballroom hotel cocktail party venue***

David runs over to Dian after performing the young girl's orders perfectly.

Dian smiled satisfied with the incident in the middle of the ballroom which was still going on live performances. The special guest that Dian was looking for earlier was Husin's wife, who happened to also be attending a cocktail party tonight.

Dian distracts her and looks intently at the two women who were with Anggi slandering her earlier. The two women became frightened by Dian's bullying gaze.

"I'm sorry to me now!" Dian's orders.

"I'm sorry? Who are you? Just a mistress, arrogant for mercy!" said one of the women.

Dian took a cell phone and photographed the two women.

"What are you doing?" shouted the other woman in annoyance.

"You insist on not apologizing. I'll make your parents apologize to me!" dian said firmly.

The bodies of the two women were trembling. They did look down on Dian, but they were also afraid of Dian's backers. It's not just Chandra, there's Billy and Leon. They both signal each other's eyes.

"Sorry!"

"Sorry!"

The two women apologized and lowered their heads in order to endure the embarrassment.

"So your mouths are fine! Don't be the second Anggi!" dian said, before leaving the cocktail party with David.

The shareholders are already sitting in their respective places waiting for Chandra's arrival to start an internal shareholder meeting.

Some shareholders smiled slightly and occasionally glanced at Husin. Husin's dead red face held back the embarrassment and pretended not to feel the center of attention.

Husin's cheeks look a bit swollen and also his eyes bruised so bluish color. It was all the work of his wife who went berserk like a lioness at home after coming home from a cocktail party last night.

The news of Husin and Anggi forging a friendly relationship has spread so that Anggi does not come to work today. In addition to being embarrassed, also due to his face and body that was battered by the blows and slaps of Husin's wife.

Chandra walks into the meeting room with Dian. David followed them from behind.

"Vice CEO Dian deserves to be present at the shareholders meeting" Chandra said with an expressionless face.

"Whatchu mean?CEO Chandra dares to take responsibility to Mr Jackson for this rash act?" ask Husin.

Husin thought Chandra was giving a small stake to Dian so that the young girl could attend an internal shareholder meeting. If Jackson finds out then Chandra must be in trouble.

Chandra did not answer Husin's question but nodded his head towards Dian.

"David!" call Dian.

David, who was standing next to Dian, handed a file to the young girl.

"There's something important that I want to say" said Dian, with a faint smile that still puffed up at the corner of her lips.

"What's important to Dian's deputy CEO?" tanya Susanto, one of the shareholders who is loyal to Jayanata Company.

"I own two percent of Jayanata Company's shares" Dian replied.

"Chandra CEO! You're crazy for giving stock to your mistress!" husin shouted while hitting the table hard.

"I'm sure all CEO Chandra's decisions are never wrong. Please deputy CEO Dian continue. We all patiently listen to him" Susanto said.

"Thank you for your patience and understanding, Mr. Susanto," said Dian.

Husin gave a rough snort and glared at a glance towards Susanto, who was clearly seen defending Dian. Even the other two shareholders who were one-to-one with Husin did not dare to speak a word at the moment.

"Chandra CEO stock is still intact by 70 percent. I have a list of the latest updates on the number of shares that all shareholders have here. Please check!" dian said and handed the file documents to Susanto.

Susanto read it carefully. "Yes right. The number of my shares is still the same," said Susanto.

Susanto submitted the documents to the shareholders next to him, who also did the same with Susanto.

Each shareholder smiled with relief at the sight of their shares still intact, while Husin's face had already turned as pale as the color of the paper. Cold sweat splashed on his forehead.

When the file document was in his hands, his eyes were getting round because his name was not listed in the list as expected. His body and hands were shaking.

"Why is Mr. Husin pale? Is Mr Husin's name not on the list?" tanya Dian was spontaneous.

"really? Let me see!" susanto said and snatched the file from Husin's hands.

Moments later, the atmosphere in the meeting room became boisterous because there was no Husin name on the list of shareholders.

"Drenches! Why isn't your name listed? Where are your shares now?"

"Yes, right. Where did your two percent stake go?"

"The total number of shares and the names of the shareholders is precise and complete. It's just that there is an additional name of deputy CEO Dian for two percent of the company's shares," said Susanto.

Susanto's statement made the shareholders immediately understand clearly what had happened. Husin sold the shares of Jayanata Company secretly and happened to be bought by Dian.

"Sorry CEO Chandra. Lately I've had financial difficulties so I sold company shares. I intend to buy it back once my finances have stabilized, "please Husin.

"You built a new company outside and moved secretly some of Jayanata Company cooperation projects there. You think you can lie to me?" ask Chandra.

"You guys?" susanto said and several other shareholders simultaneously.

The two shareholders sitting on the left and right sides of Husin lowered their heads spontaneously.

"The three of you used Anggi to take bribes. I have given all the evidence of your actions to the authorities. Starting today the three of you and Anggi are fired from Jayanata Company. Both of you'll be repossessed!" chandra said firmly.

Husin and his two accomplices were sitting limp and agitated. There was no longer a bright future waiting for them ahead. There is only interrogation from the authorities and iron bars.

The other shareholders did not feel sorry for Husin and the two shareholders. They feel lucky Chandra managed to investigate the crimes of Husin that harmed the Jayanata Company.

"Meeting done!" chandra said and stood up leaving the meeting room.

Dian took the file documents lying on the table, then followed Chandra. Susanto and other shareholders also left the meeting room.

In the blink of an eye, the meeting room only left Husin and the other two shareholders. They regretted betraying Jayanata Company. But the rice has become porridge.

Regrets always come too late and they have to face all the consequences of all the actions they have taken.
