CHAPTERS 104. The Bramasta family

***Bramasta Company meeting room***

"What did you sign?" adi asked without further ado to the old shareholders.

They were all still in the meeting room after Stefan and the others had already left, some time ago.

"Sorry Mr. Adi. We're gonna have to sign it."

"Yes. For the good and progress of the Bramasta Company, we must agree to CEO Stefan's request!"

"We're old and want to spend our retirement years in the near future in peace."

The old shareholders tried to defend themselves and expressed their reasons to Adi. This made Adi even more angry and upset.

"You betrayed me?" ask Adi in a loud voice.

"It's not so, Mr. Adi. We only approve Mr. Adi's resignation from the chairmanship!" answer one of the old shareholders.

"What?" screeched Adi while holding his chest that hurt.

"Sir Adi is the grandfather of CEO Stefan. We believe CEO Stefan just wants Mr. Adi not to intervene again in the Bramasta Company and enjoy the old days at the mansion" the other shareholders replied.

"Excession! You're all outrageous!" yelled Adi while pressing his cane on the floor hard.

"Sorry Mr. Adi. We're saying goodbye because there's still another job."

The old shareholders left the meeting room quickly. They do not want to be the target of Adi's anger.

Laura and Anastasia moved to the corner of the room. They did not dare to leave Adi alone for fear that the old man would faint suddenly due to his heightened emotions.

Moments later, Luis and Adi's private driver walk into the meeting room.

"Mr Adi! CEO Stefan assigned me to escort Mr. Adi, Lady Laura, and Miss Anastasia back to the Bramasta Mansion!" luis said politely.

"I want to see Stefan!" said Adi.

"All right" answered Luis.

***Stefan's workspace at Bramasta Company***

Adi sat in front of Stefan while folding both hands in front of his chest and staring at Stefan, while Laura and Anastasia stood on Adi's left and right sides. They both want to apologize to Stefan.

Stefan sat quietly and was not intimidated by Adi's attitude. Adi's current situation can't be a threat to Stefan anymore. The old man before him had already lost all power due to his greed and also his arrogant attitude.

Adi is like a tiger that has lost its fangs and sharp claws so that it becomes weak.

"Fa! I'm your real grandfather!" adi said.

Stefan understood what Adi said. Adi blamed him for making the old man lose his position as chairman of the Bramasta Company's board.

"It is precisely because you are my biological grandfather that I did not expel you from the Bramasta Mansion!" stefan replied in a flat tone.

"Bastard grandson!" yelled Adi while holding his chest. This time it was accompanied by bad breath.

"Grandfather must understand, all this happened because of grandfather's own fault. Grandfather who wanted to dethrone me from the position of CEO of Bramasta Company. I'm just following Grandpa's ways" Stefan explained, without feeling guilty.

"From today the Bramasta Mansion became the residence of grandfathers until the end of grandfather's life. I'm gonna move from there. Mr. Eko and the two maids will take good care of grandfather in the mansion" Stefan continued.

The faces of Adi, Laura, and Anastasia turned pale from Stefan's words. They didn't expect Stefan to take such an extreme decision. "You.. You want to break up the family relationship?" ask Adi stammeringly.

Stefan was, after all, the only reliable successor of Bramasta's descendants and Adi expected Stefan to stay with him. Stefan's decision to move made Adi in severe shock.

Stefan had other thoughts. Stefan knows Dian has bad memories at the Bramasta Mansion. Additionally Stefan is not sure Adi, Laura, and Anastasia will change their ugly nature easily.

Stefan would rather live with Dian elsewhere than lose Dian a second time because of the Bramasta family. This time Stefan wants to be more selfish, for his own happiness.

"It's better that I leave the Bramasta Mansion so that grandfather doesn't feel upset and angry constantly for seeing me every day" Stefan replied.

"As far as you are!" adi said while sighing long. The arrogance and high self-esteem make Adi not want to beg Stefan to stay at the Bramasta Mansion with him.

Adi stood up from the chair and walked slowly using a cane, leaving Stefan's study.

"Fa! How can Sia and I live without pocket money?" laura asked in panic, after Adi left.

"True mama," said Anastasia with a pale face.

"You can join me in the interior or you two make money by working" Stefan replied firmly.

"Ma! I don't want to live with Dad. Look at my skin getting dark and rough" whined Anastasia while crying.

"That means you have to find a job to earn money. I'll send two bodyguards watching you. If you use the name Bramasta to get the job, I'll send you to my father's place and don't expect you to go back to Bali again!" threatening Stefan's.

The luxury that Laura and Anastasia had been feeling all this time had made them both more arrogant and looked down on others so Stefan wanted to teach them both a lesson.

Whether the two of them could come to their senses or not, Stefan did not care anymore.

"Luis! Take them both out. From now on they must not set foot in the Bramasta Company!" stefan's orders.

"Good CEO Stefan!" luis answered obediently.

Laura and Anastasia walked out of Stefan's office space lethargic. The two of them were thinking about what kind of work could make Stefan's pocket money each month.

Both of them never worked at all. All their needs were always prepared by the servants of the mansion, but now the servants of the mansion only stayed two and Mr. Eko. The three of them serve Adi Bramasta alone.

Laura and Anastasia could not imagine life as a maid that would haunt them from this moment on. They both had to cook, wash, and clean the room themselves.

They both know Stefan is deliberately avenging their evil treatment of Dian. All the things that the two of them had once forced Dian to do, were now boomerangs that bounced and hit themselves.

They can't change the fate Stefan has set. Even Adi Bramasta had become a weak and powerless old man again.
