CHAPTER 71. End of antique keris
***Ballroom hotel birthday celebration venue Wijaya Company***
Adi Bramasta felt calmer after gulping down a glass of water. The look on his face turned grim and was no longer ashen.
As an experienced parent and has faced many severe trials as a young man, Adi can control his heart quickly.
"Grandfather. Let's just go home now" whined Anastasia.
The spoiled girl could not bear to see Dian being the center of everyone's attention. Though she herself is also a young lady of Bramasta, but lost to Dian.
"Can't! The show is not finished!" adi said firmly.
His high self-esteem makes Adi refuse to act like a coward and run away. If the Bramasta family leaves the Wijaya Company's birthday celebration event now, Adi can make sure they will get into the news tomorrow morning and certainly not something to be proud of.
Her antiques are still in Dian's hands. Adi decides to wait for the show to finish and asks for her antiques to Jackson.
Adi is sure Jackson will give face to him as a parent who is the same age as Agung Wijaya, Jackson's grandfather so that antique keris can be brought home safely.
Moments later, Wijaya's small family came down from the stage and the host announced a dinner had been prepared.
The invited guests also take food from the buffet table and take a seat to taste the luxurious dinner dishes.
While the small family of Wijaya sat together in front of a large round table. Hotel waiters serve food on the table.
As the host of tonight's event, Jackson and the family did not have to queue to pick up food at the buffet table, but rather served by hotel maids.
Dinner went well with classical music from musicians on stage.
The Bramasta family dining table was grim. Laura, Anastasia, and Gisel did not really enjoy the sumptuous dishes on their plates. All those delicious foods tasted bland on their tongues.
While Adi tasted food in small portions, Stefan did not take any food at all and only sipped red wine up to a few glasses in number.
Every now and then Stefan's eyes fell on the Wijaya family's dining table, precisely to Dian's body. The young girl ate quietly and was clearly chatting merrily with her little family. Sherina meets Dian and sits next to Chandra.
Stefan looked at the large table that was side by side with the Wijaya family table. Adrian, Raisa, Leon, Kelvin, and Natasha were there. There was even a couple who were very familiar in Stefan's eyes.
Stefan tried to think hard about who the couple was and finally found the answer. They are Michelle and Felix who are good friends with Jackson and Rossy. They both appear in magazines and on social media, promoting Healing Hands Hospital.
Stefan can recognize them because he is interested in the talent of Dion, the only son of Michelle and Felix, who is a famous physics scientist. Stefan wants to invite Dion to join and help in the Alpha Enterprise AI project.

An hour later after the invited guests finished tasting the dinner, Jackson brought Dian to meet with business associates to introduce Dian personally and in a short time.
One table after another was visited by Jackson and Dian. The guests greeted Dian with a friendly welcome. Jackson brings Dian back to their dining table.
Adi Bramasta's face turned black instantly as Jackson accidentally missed the table where the Bramasta family was.
Laura, Anastasia, and Gisel harbored resentment and anger in their hearts. They did not dare to act as they pleased because they saw Adi also speechless with a grim face.

The Wijaya Company's birthday celebration event is almost over. Hosts invited Jackson and Rossy to take the stage to cut a lavish birthday cake with 7 levels.
The guests gathered under the stage, including the Bramasta family. Adi breathed a sigh of relief because it was time to be at the end of the event.
Jackson held Rossy's hand tightly and together cut the cake from the very top level to the bottom. A standing ovation echoed inside the hotel's ballroom.
Dozens of other hotel waiters carried trays containing small empty plates and placed each small piece of cake on the plate, then handed it out to the invited guests.
The attention of the reporters focused on Dian. The young girl came up on stage all of a sudden. The host immediately gave the microphone to Dian.
A bad premonition haunts the minds of the Bramasta family members except for Stefan as Dian stares at them while smiling full of mystery. Even Adi felt his head throbbing violently.
"All the invited guests, at the end of the event I want to announce something" said Dian in a clear voice.
The reporters immediately prepared to hold the cameras each welcoming the announcement from Dian. Tonight one by one the announcements from the Wijaya family members, greatly shocked everyone to death so they were increasingly curious about what the announcement from Dian was.
"Some time ago, I bought an antique kris from a private charity auction" Dian said, pausing to see Adi Bramasta's reaction.
The old grandfather looked panicked and agitated and stared intently at Dian. Dian smiled widely and brought the microphone closer to her lips again.
"Antique kris it will…."
"Wait a minute!" Adi shouted loudly and came forward approaching the stage. Everyone who was in the hotel ballroom looked at the old man curiously.
"Dian! The antique keris is a Bramasta family heirloom. I'm willing to buy it at ten times the price!" adi said.
All the reporters stared intently at Dian's reaction to Adi's fantastic offer.
"Sir Adi! I am very rich and I have no shortage of money. After all, antique kris are very valuable and cannot be compared to the value of money. Therefore I decided to donate an antique kris to the museum for free!" said Dian.
"What?" yelled Adi with a pale face. His body staggered backwards and was captured by Stefan and Laura.
"Sir Tjokorda. Please go on stage" said Dian.
A well-dressed and dignified middle-aged man climbed onto the stage and stood beside Dian.
"The father of Tjokorda is the curator of the museum. I'm handing out antique pieces to preserve at the museum so that everyone who values history can enjoy them together. I believe the museum is the most appropriate place for an antique keris than at the Bramasta Mansion. I'm also sure Mr. Adi will be as thoughtful as I am," Dian said at length calmly.
The sound of applause echoed from the invited guests. They all support Dian's decision.
Dian took a long box containing an antique dagger from the hand of one of the servants of the Wijaya mansion, who was with Dian in the dressing room earlier, then handed the box to Tjokorda.
"Thank you Miss Dian!" answer Tjokorda.
"Together" answered Dian.
Tjokorda brought the box down from the stage and walked away from the hotel ballroom as the task was done.
While Adi Bramasta looked at the back of Tjokorda who was away while clenching his hands tightly. Both of his eyes had already turned red, but the antique keris was unlikely to return to the hands of the Bramasta Family forever.
