CHAPTER 38. The wrong dance steps?

The attention of the invited guests is inseparable from a pair of lovebirds who are dancing beautifully. Even the band members focus their attention on it.

Dian took her hand off Stefan's shoulder and hand. The man also removed his hand from Dian's slender waist.

The young girl gave a sharp look to Stefan, then turned her body leaving the middle of the ballroom towards where Chandra was. Stefan walked over to Erik.

Stefan could feel his heartbeat speeding up and the electric current stinging his entire body through his lips.

The band players played new music so some couples started dancing in the middle of the ballroom. Erik turned to Stefan who was standing beside him.

"Fa. Did you kiss her on purpose?" erik asked in a small voice.

"I forgot the dance steps" refuted Stefan.

Erik chuckled and shook his head at Stefan's rebuttal. Erik saw clearly Dian staring intently at Stefan after an accidental kiss earlier. Stefan's ex-wife is angry and upset.

"Mistakes in your dance steps will make the hot gossip of your relationship spread again," said Erik.

Stefan was stunned to hear Erik's words being completely true. His rash actions tonight will make Dian receive criticism from netizens again.

"I'll handle it" said Stefan.

"At least you're not a bad ex" Erik said, toasting his wine glass touching Stefan's wine glass. The two of them gulped down red wine each.

"We can go home now if you don't want to be here anymore" Chandra said.

"It's okay, Chandra. The dinner has just begun. We must show the seriousness of Jayanata Company for this cooperation project," said Dian.

"Princess! Brother Chandra!" Billy suddenly appeared before them with a wide smile.

Chandra knows Billy is one of Dian's close friends and also likes his favorite sister all along. Of course Sherina told Chandra everything.

Chandra wants to give Billy a chance to melt Dian's heart and forget his failed first marriage to Stefan.

"You just talk to Billy. I'm the representative of Jayanata Company talking to other businessmen" Chandra said.

"Both Chandra," replied Dian obediently.

Dian knew Chandra didn't want her to hear a question from the invited guests about her relationship with Stefan whether to refer to her or not due to an accidental kiss earlier.

"Call over Chandra. I'll take good care of the princess" Billy said.

Billy just arrived at the hotel ballroom so he did not know the first dance incident.

"Princesses. Let's sit there, "suggest Billy while pointing at one of the tables in the corner of the ballroom. A suitable place to avoid crowds and distractions from other invited guests.

Billy was increasingly amazed by the beauty of Dian so decided to attend this event.

"How about the AI project? Who managed to cooperate with Alpha Company?" ask Billy.

"Of course Jayanata Company. I got the project" Dian replied with passion.

Suddenly the look on Dian's face turned cold when he saw three people coming towards him.
