The Goddess Of War

The Goddess Of War
Chapter 50 - Elves (3)

Nyrna was still amazed by the experience she had just gained.

He is an Elf who is very famous for his speed of movement which has been his innate skill since birth. Especially after he seriously honed his skills, he was now known as an Elf who had the highest speed among the Elves in his clan, perhaps even among all the Elves.

But what he had just experienced made him have a new experience.

“It wasn't using speed, wasn't we teleporting?” Thought Nyrna remembered the incident earlier.

He had heard stories of teleportation skills. But, as far as he knew, the ability to teleport was only a legend. Just an exaggerated story. How could it be a real story?

Not wanting to dissolve in his surprise, Nyrna then stared fixedly at the creature that had saved him from death by teleporting.

After that, Nyrna looked around her and did not find the whereabouts of the other 3 Elves who had previously fought with Eleanor, Glynka and Cirdan.

“They're down there.” Cirdan said as if he knew what Nyrna was looking for.

Nyrna followed Cirdan's gaze and saw 3 headless bodies lying on the grass below.

Nyrna looked at Cirdan.

As if he could talk through telepathy or understand the meaning of Nyrna's gaze, Cirdan shook his head.

‘Did he do it?’

‘I didn't see it. Their heads suddenly exploded while still fighting with us.’

The arrogant leader of the Wind Clan Elf, now chose to be careful in taking steps and did not dare to directly attack the opponent who had just appeared before him, unlike when he directly confidently attacked Fael and Nyrna earlier.

He knew that the creature in front of him today did not just have speed. He could not even feel his presence.

“It must have been teleportation.” Her thought.

The distance of his sword was only a few fingers from Nyrna's neck. His chance to kill the female Elf had already reached 99.9% but he failed at the last second when Nyrna who only had a chance to escape almost 0% it suddenly vanished from his sight until his attack only managed to slash through the tree trunk.

Although he realized it too late, but he knew that this creature before him had saved Nyrna.

Perhaps, that chance was his best chance to be able to kill Nyrna easily while the female Elf was off guard. Nyrna is famous for its speed. It is very difficult to attack him if he is in a fit and alert condition.

Nobara, the leader of the Wind Clan Elf stared intently at the creature before him. His face was graceful, similar to his people.

However, there is a slight difference between them.

The creature's ears were blunt, unlike the ears that the Elves had, which were slightly pointed at the ends.

While Nobara was still watching him, the creature smiled at him and then spoke.

“You want to try to fight with me?” Anna asked as she walked slowly towards Nobara.

His attitude is very calm. He did not even care that the opponent before him was really very strong. He also did not even care for the hundreds of troops that owned Nobara down there, who was ready to attack whenever Nobara gave orders.

Nobara looked at Anna sharply. Elves are a nation that has high confidence in the power they have.

Although without the impression of underestimation, but what Anna just said, felt like harassing her.

But, even though he was angry, Nobara who had lived for hundreds of years and experienced in judging opponents, could still control his anger.

“Who are you?” Nobara finally asked back.

Anna is now only 3 meters from Nobara. He smiled again before speaking.

“I am a hunter from outside the gate.” Sahut Anna's. After saying that sentence, he looked at Nobara with a full search.

Anna already had a little bit of knowledge as to what Dungeon beings understood regarding the war zone of Tzaca, the Orc Witch.

He wanted to know if Nobara understood the meaning behind his sentence.

Of course, it was not only Nobara who knew who the hunter was from outside the gate. The 5 elves standing behind Anna also knew the story.

All the Elves who were in front and behind Anna had now become more alert

“Do not worry. I'm just alone.” Said Anna again.

At this point, Nobara became very doubtful. He had obtained orders from the creature who called himself a god to finish off all the hunter creatures that came from outside the gate.

However, from his instincts, this creature before him seemed very dangerous if it had to be fought.

Nobara wasn't a fighter yesterday afternoon. Just from the look of his opponent's eyes, he knew that the creature had high confidence in its abilities.

Not only is confidence empty, it is a gaze that seems to speak to him, ‘I will give you a chance to live if you still want to live’.

‘Glup.’

Nobara gulped his saliva.

The longer he looked straight at the two eyes of the graceful creature before him, the more he seemed to know how strong the creature was.

“Do you want to try to fight with me?” Ask Anna then.

Nobara did not give an answer. There were some considerations in his mind.

‘Is he playing with me? Or does he just want to try to fight?’

“But I have a condition. If you lose, you and your entire army will become my followers.” Anna added.

Hearing what Anna had just said, Nobara sighed softly. Of course, it was all about conquest.

Although what Anna meant was a little different from the understanding that Nobara had, the Elves were used to it.

For that reason, the 5 Elf Clans had always fought since their world was created. To conquer other clans and get magic resources to strengthen the clan.

Nobara looked at Anna suspiciously. He then spoke.

“If I refuse to submit?”

Anna grunts.

“Why are you asking like that? Doesn't that mean you know you're gonna lose?”

Nobara. Actually, the question had only been accidentally thought of by him. Or perhaps, the question arises from his fear.

What the creature before him said was true. If he thought so, he was indeed unsure of being able to win when fighting with him.

“Don't Elves have a haughty attitude? Moreover, you are Dark Elf.” Said Anna.

‘Angkuh? Dark Elf?’

Not only Nobara, but the 5 Elves behind Anna were a little confused by the new term Anna had pinned on their nation.

Unlike the stories circulating among the Hunters on Earth who consider Elves to have a haughty attitude, the, actually, the Elves only have a very high self-confidence that is completely different from the arrogance that humans mean.

“I don't understand what you mean.” Sahut Nobara's.

“I mean, the arrogance that should be the nature of your nation doesn't seem to seem.” Anna explained.

This time, Anna really wanted to speak carefully with the Dungeon-dwelling creatures. He did not want to lose a potential ally like animal-like creatures that he could not talk to at all.

Anna has her own plans for the future. And he needs an army.

So, that was why Anna felt a little happy when she could 'negotiate' with the creature before her calmly.

Nobara, despite pushing himself, smiled at Anna.

“So that's your nation's judgment on us..” Nobara said slowly.

Anna nodded. But he just thought about it.

“True too. That's just their thinking, Hunters. I shouldn't judge the same way.” Think Anna.

“Then, what did you mean about Dark Elf earlier?” Nobara asked. He was really uncomfortable being referred to as a Dark Elf.

“Your body is purple,” Anna said while pointing at Nobara. He then turned his head and glanced at the 5 Elves behind him. “Different from them.”

Nobara seemed a little surprised by the term.

The Wind Clan was actually not born with a different skin color than the other clans.

The original skin of the Elves was pink and very bright.

Only after eating the god-given body strengthening pill did their skin color change completely.

“Sounds like I was wrong?” Said Anna with furrowed brows.

Nobara did not answer Anna's question. He was a little embarrassed to admit that they were affected by the words of the god and ate the pills until he regretted the decision behind the day.

Seeing Nobara seemed not to want to answer him. Anna spoke again.

“So, don't you want to fight?”

Nobara looked back at Anna with a serious face, before giving another question.

“What would you do if I didn't want to fight?”

Anna shook her head and smiled.

“I won't do anything to you. That means you're giving up. You and your army should be my followers."

Nobara almost laughed. How could the Wind Clan, which had never been subject to any clan, claim to be subject to the alien before him so easily?

He then looked at Anna with a hint of ridicule in his eyes, then asked.

“If I don't want to?”
