The Goddess Of War

The Goddess Of War
Chapter 68 - Dungeon Break (6)

On the other hand, the 4 Hunters watching the fight between the Orc King and the bear costumed figure felt the impact of the fight.

Especially Gina and Jester who were ranked lower than the other two Hunters.

They had already started to feel breathlessness as the Orc King shouted at the Orc army who looked like it wanted to leave the battle area.

The more severe impact of magic they felt when the Orc King used his disgusting skill, poisonous slime.

The two healers even had to use a health buff to keep themselves from getting any internal injuries.

However, the moment the explosion produced from the collision of the two Orc King skill balls that had been taken over by the bear costumed figure scattered throughout the area and also where they were, the four Hunters who were actually always on guard sensed that they would soon suffer harm.

It happened so fast that Wang Zhu Ming and Ronald Stewart did not even think of escaping from it.

But strangely, they did not feel the impact of the magic energy explosion at all.

“A-what is this..?”

Ronald Stewart was the first to notice the strange bubbles surrounding the area.

The bubble that glittered with golden color was what had protected them to the point of not being affected by the explosion of magic energy.

They did not even feel any more magic waves at this moment.

‘This warm feeling..’.

Gina who was already familiar with this comfortable aura, stared at the dust rain before her, which was produced by the burst of magic energy earlier.

Although he could not see the costumed figure of a bear because of the flying dust covering the entire area, but he knew the figure was inside there.

However, the dust that was billowing in the air suddenly disappeared along with a gust of wind that suddenly combed the entire area.

Hhhhhhhh...

In front of them, there was a large crater with two creatures that were floating around inside.

Both of Gina's eyes trembled as she stared fixedly at one of the figures that were there. The figure in the bear costume.

“Anna...,” muttered in an almost inaudible voice. “That must be him.” Gina said in her heart.

When he finally realized who the person in the bear costume was, his worry grew stronger.

°°°

The Orc King who was severely injured from his own skill, who had been returned to him, coughed as he spat out a few sips of black blood from his mouth.

Although his gaze was blocked by the dust fog, he could guess if the creature that made him seriously injured was also definitely seriously injured as it seemed.

“Attacks that are not carefully calculated.” Thought the Orc King.

But soon, the dust fog disappeared carried away by the wind that came out of nowhere.

Before him, his opponent figure floated in the air and looked fine.

The creature appeared to be doing a fanning motion with one of his hands.

It was then that the Orc King realized that the gust of wind earlier, must have come from him.

Only after seeing that his opponent was not injured at all did the Orc King now look at the creature before him with a feeling of fear.

He is now seriously injured, while his enemy seems to be fine.

He had just seen the arrival of two clumps which were his skills that had been taken over and repelled them with both hands. Because of this, now both his hands were so badly injured that he could no longer move them.

The magic explosion was really so terrifying that it left a huge crater there.

Just because he had an extremely strong resistance, the Orc King's body did not explode. However, he was seriously injured.

The Orc King tried to get up on his feet with trembling legs, but he had now lost all his strength from holding back the explosion.

He eventually fell down with both of his kneecaps hitting the ground.

The Orc King turned his head around to see the impact caused by the explosion earlier.

He thought that only he and his opponent had survived the explosion.

However, when he saw the Orc army that was in the distance was fine, both of his eyelids trembled.

All around the Orc army was a bubble of golden light that seemed to have protected them from the burst of magic energy.

The moment the Orc King had finished observing the situation. The saggy-skinned creature suddenly appeared before him.

“You've seen for yourself, right? I wasn't making anything up when I warned you." Anna said so while looking intently at the Orc King.

The Orc King was shocked when he saw his opponent appear suddenly before him. By reflex, he took a few steps back with both knees trembling from the injury and fear that was now occupying him.

“I just want to show you that they're okay, so you don't die of curiosity. That's why I didn't kill you right away. Goodbye to.”

Begg!!!

After finishing her sentence, Anna threw her palm onto the forehead of the Orc King, without waiting for the monster's response to her words.

The head of the Orc King exploded.

The body of the Orc King who had lost his head, twitched for a few seconds before finally falling down and not moving anymore.

After the Orc King was killed, Anna turned to the two Orc King bodyguards who were still hugging and looked at him fearfully.

Since they were not far from the battle area before the magic energy explosion, they were also inside the crater, just like the surviving Orc army.

Anna also protected the two of them with her magic until they were not affected by the explosion.

In fact, in addition to the Orc army and 4 Hunters that were up there, on the outskirts of the crater, Anna also protected all the bodies of the High Orc from exploding due to the explosion of magic energy earlier.

“Still attack me?” anna asked the two High Orcs who were hugging each other.

Quickly, both of them shook their heads.

Anna smiled happily at the answer. He did want the two High Orcs to be his followers and indeed did not want the Orc King who looked disgusting to him to be his follower.

So, Anna deliberately showed the fight earlier to bully the two High Orcs. Otherwise, from the start he could have killed the Orc King easily.

“You should be proud because I needed a little effort just to convince you.” Anna told them.

The two High Orcs were silent, not understanding the meaning of the creature's words.

Anna then called out to all the Orcs who were still frozen in a place a little far away from her.

They were still staring at Anna with a feeling of fear mixed with amazement after just witnessing how easy it was for her to kill their powerful king in the eyes of the Orcs.

Without any doubt, all the Orcs were running towards Anna.

When they were in front of Anna, they all knelt down.

“Great God!” say all Orcs at the same time.

Anna : “...”

‘How to think they are really very simple.’

“All of you, bring all the corpses of your people back to the gate. Do it now.” Anna's orders.

The Orc army without asking much directly went to execute the order.

After they all left, Anna stared at the two High Orcs.

“Both of you, take the corpse into the gate.” Said Anna while pointing at the corpse of the Orc King.

But just as they were about to touch the Orc King's body, Anna stopped him.

"Wait a minute."

The two High Orcs stopped and turned to look at Anna. They then looked at each other for not hearing any further orders from him.

But, before long, they finally understood why Anna had stopped them.

They saw a blackish-green smoke evaporating from the Orc King's fall.

The smoke then gathered into one and froze with a ball shape, as big as a human fist.

The ball then flew and landed in Anna's hands.

'This poison might come in handy someday.'

"Now bring the body back into the gate." Anna's orders once again.

The two of them nodded then carried the large body of the Orc King away towards the Dungeon gate.

After completing her work there, Anna finally went to see 4 Hunters who watched closely what happened from the top of the crater.

°°°

Wang Zhu Ming and Ronald Stewart instantly raised their weapons when they saw a costumed figure of a bear suddenly appear before them.

As the costumed figure of the bear raised one of its hands, the two Hunters prepared in a defensive position.

They knew, if they were to attack rashly, then their fate would be exactly like the monster whose head had just been blown up earlier.

Jester Bailey had even sent a defensive buff on all of them. However, his skill suddenly evaporated just like that.

Shocked by the phenomenon, Jester tried it a few more times, but it still ended the same.

He finally realized that his skills did not seem to work because they were currently still inside the golden light surrounding the area around them.

Only one of them seemed to understand the meaning of the helping hand.

Without a doubt, Gina Stewart stepped foot and walked over to the bear costumed figure.

Ronald was shocked and was about to hinder his daughter, but stopped his intentions when he saw Gina shake his head.

“I'll be fine,” said Gina slowly as she looked at her father.

Gina then placed her hand on the palm outstretched before her.

The moment their hands touched, their bodies, along with the golden bubbles that had been surrounding the Hunters, suddenly disappeared as they were swallowed by air.

The three Hunters who were still there were shocked and turned to the surroundings looking for where they had gone.

°°°

Anna and Gina reappeared right in front of the gate, leaving some Orcs who happened to pass by there shocked to the point of dropping the corpses they were carrying.

When he saw who had just surprised them, the Orcs did not dare to protest and finally resumed the work that had been placed on them.

Gina looked at the costumed figure of the bear with a faint look. “K-you..”.

Before Gina finished her sentence, Anna pulled her inside the gate.

Once inside the gate, Anna unzips the costume zipper, which is actually a doll holster, then gives it to Gina.

“Sorry because I wore it without your permission.” Anna said with her face that looked regretful.

With a slow motion, Gina received the costume from Anna's hand without even looking at it. Her eyes were still on Anna's eyes.

There were a lot of things he wanted to ask the girl. As for how he could be that strong, how could he speak in Orc language. And, most importantly, whether he was actually siding with humanity or vice versa.

However, the words Gina wanted to say seemed to be stuck in her throat and could not get out of her mouth.

Anna sighed softly. Although Gina did not say anything, she could guess what Gina was thinking just from the look in her eyes.

“I'll tell you later when I get back. You better get back out, they must be worried about you.”

Gina nodded slowly, then she watched the several Orcs passing by while lifting up the corpses of their comrades.

“I will destroy his magic pillar. Tell them not to come in here, because the gate will be closed soon.”

Gina nodded again, then looked at the clothes Anna was wearing.

“You're not cold? You can wear this.” Gina said as she handed back the doll's holster to Anna, as she saw Anna wearing only a tanktop and hotpants.

Anna laughed a little.

“I'm fine. Bring it back.”

Gina finally realized that her worries were unnecessary. How could a person who could crush a High Orc army so easily feel cold?

"So, you brought me here just to give this to me?" gina asked as she lifted the bear costume in her hand.

Anna smiled, then shook her head.

"I don't want you to second-guess and think wrong about me."

Gina also smiled at Anna. The look in her eyes made Anna feel a warm feeling in her heart.

"I'll always believe you." Gina said slowly.

Gina finally remembered that this Dungeon gate must be closed immediately before anything bad happens.

"Then, I'll go out now" said Gina, handing Anna the bear costume back. "Wear this, they've been staring at you."

Anna followed Gina's gaze toward the passing Orc, "Alright."

“Oh, one more thing. Please don't say anything about me to them,” pinta Anna.

Gina nodded. He recalled the moment he almost told Anna the state of being in the meeting room, in the Association's office. Luckily, Steven stopped it by accident.

But when Gina recalled that Anna did not speak any human language at all when she was outside the gate, Gina frowned.

“Tadi... You deliberately don't speak human language?”

Anna nodded.

“Dan... You can speak their language..” Gina said as she glanced at some passing Orcs.

Anna smiled.

“Let them think I'm also part of the Orcs." Said Anna, which made the two of them finally laugh together.

“You can get out now. I'll destroy the magic pillar.”

“You're going home, right?”

“Of course. I miss your cooking.”

“I'll be waiting for you.”

After staring at Anna for a while longer, Gina finally turned around and went towards the gate.

Anna looked at Gina's back, while putting on her bear costume.
