Chapter 82 - Head of Hunter Academy

Anna had already gone to the Academy head's room before, so she had no trouble finding her location within the Academy's vast territory.

On his way, all the students and instructors who happened to cross paths with him, looked at his face with the same reaction. It was as if they were looking at a world-class Hunter whom they would not even be able to meet in a dream.

Or at least, they seemed to accidentally cross paths with a famous actress who previously only they could see on television or in movie theaters.

When Anna arrived inside the Academy's headroom, she saw that her homeroom teacher, Wang Liu Gong, and Gina Stewart were there.

Wang Liu Gong was shocked when he first saw Anna enter the room. She thought Anna was an actress or a visiting supermodel.

Wang Liu Gong had already checked Anna's profile before, but there was no photo of her there. It was because Gina asked the head of the Academy not to list Anna's photo on the Academy's official website as well as within the administration system.

Liu Gong glanced at Gina who was smiling warmly as she looked at the girl who had just entered.

'Did Gina know him?'

Just as Liu Gong had just realized the girl was wearing an Academy uniform, he finally asked.

"You, Anna's student?"

Anna nodded before replying, "Yes, Mr. Wang."

Liu Gong nodded his head as he continued to look at Anna in admiration.

'The girl is so beautiful. This one, isn't her beauty too much?'

It was not only Wang Liu Gong. The Head of the Academy was also stunned to see the beauty of the student. Not much different from Liu Gong, Jo Fizer also thought Anna was someone else who might be visiting her.

Only when Liu Gong asked did he finally know that the girl was Anna, the Academy student they were waiting for.

“I've arrived, Mr. Fizer.” Anna said to the head of the Academy politely.

Jo Fizer who was still amazed looked at the beauty before him, surprised. He was a little embarrassed when Anna greeted him.

"Oh yeah, yeah... Please sit down."

Jo pointed to the empty seat in the middle across the table to Anna.

Anna sat there, while Gina and Liu Gong sat on her left and right seats.

Jo Fizer smiled at Anna. The slim middle-aged man looked happy when he knew the best student in the acceptance exam was also a beautiful face.

'The selling value must be very high. City C will be very famous.'

Meanwhile, Anna thought they were calling her because of the problem she had made earlier this morning. However, from the radiant face of the head of the Academy, it seemed that it was not due to that matter.

Embarrassed after getting a strange look from Gina and Liu Gong, Jo Fizer took out 3 envelopes from the desk drawer and placed them in front of Anna.

"We got an invitation from the Black Diamond guild, the Gold Dragon guild and the Phantom guild for you, student Anna." Jo Fizer said, pointing at the envelopes in front of Anna.

Anna nodded slowly, but she did not take the envelopes and looked back at the head of the Academy.

"Did they invite me to join their guild?"

Jo Fizer nodded excitedly. "Yes. They even invited you to attend the reception of the new members to take a look at the state of the guild."

"But I don't have a license yet."

"That's no problem. They'll sign you first and you can join the guild raid when you graduate and have a license." Jo explained excitedly.

Anna nodded slowly. He had learned of it from Gina.

Anna looked at Gina.

Gina who had been staring at him with a worried face, only smiled faintly at him.

Seeing the student seem hesitant, Jo takes one of the envelopes. The middle-aged man then opened and took the invitation card from inside.

"This is an invitation from the Gold Dragon guild. They're gonna have a new member's reception party tomorrow night. Are you willing to attend?" ask Jo. He looked at Anna fixedly, wanting to see the girl's reaction.

However, Anna did not react to anything that made Jo a little confused.

Normally, a new student who obtained an invitation in the banquet of such a large guild would instantly seem happy. Even most of them can not control themselves and immediately squealed happily because of it.

Seeing Anna just silent, Jo spoke again.

"If you're feeling awkward, don't worry about it. There will be your seniors there. They were students who had graduated from the Academy a few days ago. They'll definitely take good care of you there."

Seeing Jo seeming pushy, Gina finally took out a sheet from a thin pile of documents on the table and handed it to Anna.

"This is the senior-senior who joined the Gold Dragon guild. Maybe someone you know?" gina said while showing the list of names on the sheet. He also put a little emphasis on his voice when saying the last sentence.

Gina knew the head of the Academy was trying to persuade Anna so that she could remain in City C. Gina wanted that too. However, there was something else he was worried about.

Seeing that, Liu Gong was a little astonished. He didn't think it was too important for Anna to know who her seniors were joining the Gold Dragon guild.

There were many dishonest things within the Gold Dragon guild of C City. That was why he had once refused to join the guild, which was actually a guild belonging to his extended family.

Meanwhile, what Gina was worried about was that there were people Anna knew very well who would also be present there.

Anna returns the sheet to Gina after she reads the names of her seniors who will be present and sees also the names of the high-class Hunters invited specifically in the banquet.

"I'm not gonna make a fuss." Anna said, trying to calm Gina down.

Gina is actually worried that Anna is getting carried away, considering that she herself has seen the character of Brandon Lloyd who seems to care about nothing but his business.

Gina knows how strong Anna is. He could have killed his father if he had upset him, especially since he suspected Anna must have had a special grudge against Cassey who had been trying to kill him.

"What's the matter exactly?" ask Jo curiously. She felt that there was something Anna and Gina were hiding.

"There's nothing, Mr. Fizer." said Anna. "Compared to that question, I have a condition" Anna said with a very calm look at Jo Fizer. An abnormal gaze that should not be given to a student to a head of the Academy.
