Chapter 71 - Misunderstanding

Wang Zhu Ming and Ronald Stewart sat next to each other on the rubble of a building destroyed by the burst of magic energy that occurred, as Anna returned the Orc King skill to the creature.

They've been there for 30 minutes in silence.

The experience they had just gained, made the two S-ranked Hunters realize how weak they were at the moment.

Not because they are weak. However, there were still many monsters that came from Dungeons that were much stronger than the monsters that had sprung up in Dungeons all along.

They realized, there might be more Dungeon-dwelling monsters that had the power of an Orc King, or stronger. They could not imagine what if there were even more powerful than the Orc King.

From the dungeon break this time, Wang Zhu Ming and Ronald Stewart also finally realized that the Orc boss who had been the boss of a Dungeon, was not the actual boss.

The High Orc as well.

In the recorded history of Dungeons, High Orcs who were only in the army who were massacred bear-costumed figures, usually became the Dungeon's boss.

Gina looked at Wang Zhu Ming's eyes calmly.

“I'm not sure about the costume. But, did you not hear it? He speaks in Orc.”

What Gina meant was, how could she possibly know monsters? However, if Gina said that, then she would lie to the other three Hunters who were there. He didn't like to lie, because he actually knew the figure behind the bear costume and the costume was actually his doll's holster.

Gina Stewart looked at Wang Zhu Ming with slight surprise. He said he ran away when he had the chance.

Gina did escape the circumstances within the Dungeon when there was a chance, when Anna asked her to leave.

He was a bit scared when he was inside the Dungeon. The magic energy he felt, made his body tremble to the point of feeling breathless.

However, Gina never said that she was the one who had destroyed her magic pillar. It was Wang Zhu Ming's own conclusion because the gate had now disappeared.

"I-it's no big deal.." said Gina finally, lowering her gaze to her hands above her thighs.

That misunderstanding, allowed her to protect Anna a little longer.

Wang Zhu Ming smiled as he looked at the girl's humility.

And again, after Gina came out of the gate earlier, Ronald Stewart had actually directly bombarded him with various questions, after he made sure his daughter's condition was fine.

But Gina said that she could not say anything for a while and requested that the Association give her some time to explain the circumstances.

Gina did promise Anna to keep it a secret about herself, but they couldn't keep it any longer, because of course the Association would charge the story of the real incident.

"Dealing with humans and all the rules is very complicated." Thought Gina after she spoke to her father.

That's why Gina asked for a little time. He needs to talk about it again with Anna.

Feeling entitled as the owner of the gate and also because of his great influence, the Hunter-hunters of the Black Diamond guild bullied the media crews to immediately step aside and make way for them.

Brandon Lloyd who was in the front row, immediately went to the chairman of the Association that he saw was still there.

Although hesitant to approach when he saw Wang Zhu Ming was still there, but given the importance of the explanation he had to get, Brandon finally went to Ronald Stewart.

The middle-aged man then stood up in honor of one of the best Hunters in C City, then forced his stiff-looking smile, before answering the question.

“It was not us who closed the gate,” said Ronald politely. He doesn't want to talk about it here. He plans to make an official announcement after getting the full story from Gina.

Brandon Lloyd turned his head and pointed at Gina, who was still sitting and did not care about her presence. Even Gina did not bother looking at him as if the man was not there.

“But, I saw miss Stewart was the one who came out of the gate, before the gate closed.”

Those words finally managed to grab Gina's attention. He stood up, then looked at Brandon Lloyd sharply, with a dislike look.
