The next day, Konoha and Fog went to war again. As before, Ryo directly fought the 3rd Mizukage.
Since Jirraya arrived with [Reverse Summoning]. Only Ryo and Shikaku know about his presence.
Ryo ordered that the matter not be revealed for now. After his fight with the 3rd Mizukage begins, Jiraya plans to kill the Mizukage guards before joining Ryo to finish off Mizukage herself.
The 3rd usually has the 3rd Anbu for the opponent. Both of them were dependent on Ninjutsu, and the level was close. None of them had ever gained an edge over the others over the past 6 months.
The goal of Ryo's plan was to finish off the Quasi-Kage and Kage in one battle, so Fog received a crushing blow when it came to top-class combat power.
There are only three of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Fog still alive, with the morals of Juz Biwa and Raiga Kurosuki shattered by the incident.
Ryo also speculates that they still have powerful Ninja left in the village. It is unlikely that a village like Hidden Fog has a Kage level Ninja as a Mizukage. But since they had spent so much time fighting Ryo and his team without bringing any reinforcements, there must be something wrong going on in their village.
Killing a Kage and quasi kage would most likely push the Fog backwards to end the war in the Waves Country. This should have made him not have to worry about supporting his camp here when he went to the Lightning Country.
Jiraya is a veteran Ninja Level Kage. It wasn't much of a problem for him to kill Quasi Kage, so he placed his attention on the Mizukage guards at first.
Their Ninjutsu battle did not take long before Jiraya found his gap to finish him off, leaving spectacularly as usual.
On the other hand, the battle between Ryo and the 3rd Mizukage reached its peak. After fighting each other many times before, the two knew very well the strength of each other.
With the help of the electromagnetic field generated by his Denjiki Rasengan, Ryo practically killed his opponent's potential to use Hydrification, thus limiting his strength to about 30%.
But the power of the 3rd Mizukage was so simple that it was limited to Hydrification. Just like Mangetsu Hozuki, the 3rd was able to use all 7 Legendary Swords, switching among the 4 swordsmen killed by Duy. That was the main reason why Ryo couldn't take him down for so long.
With the additional power brought by their swords, the Seven Swordsmen Ninja of the Fog could actually pose a threat to a Kage. The power of such a sword in Mizukage's own hands was immense.
He relied on this knife in battle. So even without his Hydrification technique, he was still extremely powerful.
It was just that Ryo was slowly getting used to the four swords, and his consecutive fight against the 3rd Mizukage allowed him to accumulate a lot of combat experience.
Even without Jiraya's help, if Ryo maintained this advance, he might be able to defeat the 3rd Mizukage within two months.
Ryo continued to fight his opponent, while still paying attention to the guard Chakra. After fading, he used his Ice to restrict Mizukage's movements while once again condensing the Ice Bow.
As before, Ryo pulled the bowstring, as a clear Ice Arrow appeared.
The 3rd Mizukage sensed a huge threat from the small arrow, and quickly swung the sword he had in his hand to carve a path in the ice around him, in order to escape.
But at the same time, Jiraya rushes in her way, so Mizukage cannot escape in time.
Following his plan, Jiraya then immediately hid into Myoboku Mountain she saw Ryo's arrow coming. The arrow hit Mizukage's shoulder.
It then progressed, as before, into an Ice Flower that grew increasingly larger, swallowing the 3rd Mizukage in Ice.
"Break it!" Ryo controlled his ice, and like the previous thousand Ninjas, the 3rd Mizukage was also shattered by the ice, turning into a blood-red Ice Mist.
Moments later, Fukasaku who had reversed Jiraya's call to Mount Myoboku, returned with the latter to the battlefield. The blood-red Ice Mist had yet to disappear, allowing them to witness the success of the plan.
"Ha huh! Son, you are getting stronger and stronger, worthy of being my disciple!” Jiraya laughed over Ryo's shoulder.
He had just faced the Ice Ryo arrow, and felt a powerful natural energy condensing within it.
It was also very clear to him that it was condensed in such a way that it guaranteed the birth of a great power once it exploded.
“Jiraya san, I still need your help! We need to force a thousand Mist Ninjas to get close to each other. I want to end this battle!”
He went on to summon Gamabunta, his trusted partner with whom he had fought for many years, and they attacked. Together, they managed to gather a large number of Mist Ninjas in the middle of the battlefield.
Ninja Mist was very familiar with this scene. The last time this happened, Ryo killed over a thousand of them. They did not want to sit still and follow, and they tried to escape.
But it's too late. By the time they realized that they were being gathered, Ryo's arrow was ready.
A bright Ice Arrow struck the middle of the ground, and it constantly grew increasingly larger, swallowing nearly thousands of Mist Ninjas within the ice. Ryo then destroyed the Ice as before, making the center of the battlefield turn red.
"Giant! He is a monster!” The Mist Ninja finally collapsed completely, escaping without a fight.
Ryo doesn't make his men chase them. He knew that their suffering had just begun, and he did not need to add to it.
Two days after the battle ended, the Hyuga twins reported that the Fog fortress had begun to retreat.
Just as Ryo thought. There was a problem within the hidden fog, as killing Mizukage made them basically unable to fight back.
After the complete evacuation of the Fog Camp, Ryo held his last meeting, told what he was going to do, and handed the command of the camp to Shikaku Nara.
Ryo knew he had to ask the medical team to accompany him, but unfortunately, he couldn't bring them with [Reverse Summoning]. They just need to walk to the Lightning country.
In the evening, Inoichi Yamanaka calls Ryo to his tent, where Shikaku Nara and Choza Akamichi are also waiting for him.
The one who spoke the most was Shikaku, especially warning Ryo about the 3rd Raikage.
Unlike the Hidden Fog with their secrecy policy, the noble actions of the 3rd Raikage were known to everyone. Even the 3rd Hokage did not dare to claim that he knew he could defeat him.
But Ryo felt he had nothing to worry about. According to the original storyline, Minato should have already developed the Flying Lightning God to some extent.
In this world of Ninja, victory brought by the highest speed brings victory. Minato had developed the Flying Thunder God and Rasengan, reaching level 3rd Hokage and Raikage.
With such an ally, Ryo did not worry about the Raikage, especially since he himself was not weak. Sure, he wasn't at that level, but he couldn't be underestimated either!
