Chapter 30: Fukasaku!

Jiraiya used Summoning Jutsu, so a large cloud of white mist appeared. Typically, the size of the cloud is proportional to the size it is called. Ryo was expecting something from the scale of Gamabunta or Gamaken.

Even in Sage mode, one only absorbed natural energy, combining it with physical and spiritual energy. Ryo creating ice does not involve the use of Chakra.

“Jiraya Chan, where did you get this contractor? He was able to use pure natural energy perfectly!”

"Boss, you mean the boy didn't use Chakra at all while freezing the water?"

“That's the problem.” Fukasaku was positive about what he said.

“Well, why is Fukasaku the same, every time I use the Ice Element, I spend a lot of Chakra?” Ryo wonders.

Using the Ice Release Jutsu opened the second exit channel within him without opening the 2nd inlet, making the water (natural energy) leave his body at incredible speed. Here, in order to maintain the fullness of the pond, he needed to use his spare water source, his own Chakranya! When he finished, the pool was drained and he could not use the Ice Element anymore, nor could he use ordinary Ninjutsu because he did not have any more chakra.

If he continued to use his Chakra to augment his natural energy consumption, even having a Sage should not cut him off.
