Chapter 154: Ice Giant Returns

Ryo's body and mind quickly merged with the Ice Colossus.

Unlike the last one he used, Ryo discovers that his new Ice Colossus is much stronger than before.

The most obvious change is the flow of chakra within it.

The first time Ryo used this technique; the Colossus was made entirely of Natural Energy and Ice. This time, Ryo's Chakra flowed within the Colossus as if it was his own body.

Then there is a change in Natural Energy. The structure of the Colossus is much more stable than before, with the Natural Energy within it seamlessly entering its natural cycle with the outside world.

However, due to the giant structure of the Colossus, it depletes the Energy within the Yin Seal very quickly. Even with its ties to its surroundings, this Colossus should not last more than 10 minutes, which is double the last time.

Then, there's the outside of the Colossus. Ryo, of course, could not see the outer appearance of the Ice Colossus. Previously, he had only heard Konoha ninja say it resembled him.

This Colossus was even more similar to Ryo, looking exactly like him.

Mangekyo requires a very large stimulus to be awakened. Madara and Izuna wake their Mangekyo after the death of their father. Mangekyo Itachi awakens when he witnesses Shisui's suicide, Kakashi and Obito acquire Mangekyo while witnessing Rin's suicide, while Sasuke acquires him witnessing his brother's death.

(T/N: Itachi mentions that they killed their best friend to get Mangekyo. However, there are many misconceptions about Mangekyo circulating within the Uchiha clan. I think the author offers an alternative story that he chose as "what really happened”.)

The opening of Mankeyo is always accompanied by deep sadness. Ryo had not experienced such feelings. No matter how far he pushed the 3 Tomoe Sharingan, his eyes would not change.

The people in the Fog Village were all shocked by the appearance of the huge Ice Giant that suddenly appeared in front of them. However, they could not feel any movement on the giant, who was standing there like a statue.

Clearly, the Mist Ninja could not sense the Natural Energy. However, Sanbi can.

While Ryo is still lost in memory, Sanbi is out of control, only with the awakening of what is left of her soul. Most of the Biju Chakras are still there.

He condensed the Mama Biju, and launched towards the Ice Colossus.

Ryo sees the threat coming, and raises Colossus' hand to catch Biju Dama at the last moment.

"explosion!" Biju Dama exploded, making Ryo fully conscious.

Ice Colossus consists of Natural Energy. Biju Dama had no effect on him. However, the physical impact of his explosion was enough to make the right arm of the Colossus crack.

Ryo immediately controlled the Natural Energy, and in the blink of an eye, the crack was repaired.

“Sen... MONSTER!” The regular ninjas all panicked.

Ryo's ability to fend off Biju Dama Sanbi made the entire village fear him.

He had to hurry and use this window, making the village admit defeat and letting him go in less than 10 minutes, only to have a chance to leave.

While he was thinking about this, his Sharingan Colossus glanced at the Mist Ninja below him, and looked at Yagura and Sanbi.
