Chapter 85: Reunion With Orochimaru

Ryo is suddenly stopped on the street by an Anbu.

With Anbu blocking his way, Ryo's heart trembled. He immediately recalled what he did yesterday and was finally convinced not to leave a trace.

"Ryo San, Hokage is just as eager to meet you." Anbu delivered the 3rd message.

“Alright, I'll be leaving soon.” Ryo did not ask for any details, and immediately rushed towards the 3rd office.

Anby does not disappear immediately, and instead goes to the office with Ryo.

When the two entered through the door, they found the 3rd sitting on his desk sucking on his pipe.

“Rio, come! Don't waste time, look at this information. ” Saying that, he handed the scroll that was on his desk to Ryo.

The scroll was sent from the 3rd front line by Orochimaru. According to its contents, the Hidden Stone Explosion Force caused many casualties for the Konoha Ninja. Orochimaru was unable to limit their own damage, and asked the three for help.

The first one Ryo thought of were two ninja. One, is the missing Nin Deidara. The other is Gari, who is one of the Ninja Rock. (Author's Note: Although Deidara used explosive clay, and Gari used explosive punches as part of his Taijutsu style, both were users of Explosion Element.)

Other Explosion Release users were not introduced in Manga, and Ryo did not expect them to be a squad. (Translator's note: squads are mentioned in Manga, the members are not - except Gari-. Maybe this means Ryo didn't notice it.)

“Ryo, what do you know about the nature of the explosion?” ask the 3

“Hokage alike, they should be based on the release of Kekkei Genkai: Explosion. Since it is a Kekkei Genkai based Ground Element, the Lightning Element should be effective against it.” (Translator's Note: This may contradict the general theory that the Kekkei Genkai Explosion Element is a fusion of Lightning Element and Ground Element)

“You were right, but to stop the Ninjutsu Massive Explosion, Justu ordinary Lightning Element was unable to stop it. Right now, the casualties among our lower ranks are too great, and there is an urgent need for medical care on the battlefield.” Say the 3rd with a heavy face.

"Same Hokage, you mean I have to go to Earth Country?" Ryo guessed what Hokage called him for.

“Yes, but not just you. Half of the medical team in the wind country will accompany you.”

Ryo nodded and revealed his understanding of the 3rd arrangement. According to the scroll, Konoha is already losing ground, and reinforcement is mandatory.

"That's great, you will immediately contact Jiraya, let him call you to the wind country through Myoboku Mountain, and then will lead half of the Medical Ninja to Earth Country."

“Yes, Hokage Same!”

Ryo contacts the Myoboku Mountain Frog so they tell Jiraya about what happened, and goes straight home to say goodbye to her mother, before leaving to say goodbye to Yugao and Kushina.

Chinse was very disappointed that their time together was coming to an end, but she could only look at him with tears. Yet Kushina pretended to be indifferent, as she calmly said goodbye to him.

Later, Ryo is summoned back to Mount Myoboku by Shima, and then summoned by Fukasaku to the wind country battlefield.

After thanking the two great sages, he immediately went to Sakumo's tent to explain the 3rd commandment.

Jiraya becomes anxious when she learns that Orochimaru can't handle matters on his own, while Sakumo fears something else. He was afraid that if Ryo ended up meeting Yonbi Jinchuriki in the Earth Country, he might be blinded by anger.

“Ryo, if you go to Earth Country, and meet with Yonbi Jinchuriki, you should stay calm. That man is much stronger than you.”

“Don't worry Sakumo san, I won't waste my life.” Ryo answered with a smile.

"Son, Orochimaru will depend on you, and make sure to stay safe."

“No need to worry also Jiraya san! And I will help Orochimaru san, we will get victory there too! Now, I have to go. Be careful!"

After finishing his words, Ryo waved at the two and left Sakumo's tent towards his medical team.

After explaining the situation, he chose nearly half of them to accompany him to the Earth country.

Ninja is fast. After they finished packing, Ryo took them to leave immediately.

In two days and two nights, Ryo and his team arrive at the Konoha camp in Earth Country.

Many ninja in the camp were injured. Ryo immediately sent his team to start saving them, and he went to Orochimaru's tent.

Orochimaru was his Sensei, and he learned all of his Ular Ninjutsu from him; he respected him a lot.

After that, Orochimaru defected, and imprinted a curse seal on Anko. As a product of his experiments and his only surviving student, Orochimaru wanted to take him, but he refused.

He did want to go with her; he did not hate Orochimaru. But he has to make a choice between his village and his Sensei.

"Ryo kun, I wasn't expecting you!" Orochimaru looked surprised to see Ryo.

"Hi! Orochi-san!” With his new level of power, Ryo is not very formal with Orochimaru, and is increasingly friendly with the mad scientists in Naruto's world.

“You're Yamanaka Ryo? What are you doing here?" Anko has always been impressed by two geniuses, Ryo and Kakashi.

“It's Anko! I heard Orochi san took you as his disciple, pretty!” Ryo and his old classmate greeted each other.

“Ryo kun, since Sarutobi Sensei sent you here, do you have any way to deal with the Explosion Element? Or are you here to take care of the injured Ninja? ”

“I'm here for both!”

Orochimaru's eyes became bright. The Stone Explosion Force is of great concern to Konoha. He had always wanted to deal with them, and did not expect that Ryo would be the only solution.

“Ryo kun, will you tell me about your methods?”

"Of course!" As he finished his words, Ryo entered Lightning Chakra mode, and then formed the Rasengan in his hand. He then proceeded to inject it with Lightning Chakra, turning it into a ball of lightning.

Orochimaru sensed the power of the Lightning Sphere, and became extremely excited. Such a level lightning ninjutsu should have handled the Explosion Element easily.

“Ryo kun, you really gave me a big surprise!”

“Orochimaru san, you are flattering! Now, I will not directly deal with Rock Ninja. Give me two days, because I have to take care of the injured Konoha Ninja first.”

Orochimaru agreed. Even if Ryo did not think about it, it was the first thing he would ask her to do.

"I'm leaving now Orochi san!" Ryo bids farewell to Orochimaru and does his intense rescue work.

Things went much more smoothly during those two days, and Orochimaru was much less tense. Now, with Ryo here, he could let her deal with the injuries and explosions, while she only focused on the 3rd Tsuchikage.

Two days later, he gathered his Ninja to prepare for a great counterattack!
