Chapter 83: Inoichi's Wedding

Ryo learns from Kushina's statement that her relationship with Kurama made great progress over the past year and a half, especially after the deal they made.

The deal was like this: No matter what, Kurama would never try to take over Kushina's body, and Kushina would remove the seal she placed on it.

Kushina is a survivor of the Uzumaki clan. He was born with a special Chakra that allows him to suppress Kyubi. Even with that, he could affect her if not chained up. However, consciously, he let go of his chain which freed Kurama.
