Chapter 96: The Family of Three

Ryo jumps onto the boat and walks to the cabin where the people he sees are.

When he arrived at the hatch, Ryo did not go straight in because he heard a scream in the cabin: “You all listen to me! If you want to live, hurry up and tell where the money is hidden! ”

Ryo smiled, and what he was worried about now was finding a way to get the ship owner to go all the way to the Waves Country with his team.

Before jumping, Ryo sensed that there were eight people inside. Four men paddled and took the wheel, and four men in the cabin. Now it looks like one of the four people in the cabin is a pirate.

Ordinary pirates should not be difficult to deal with by seven people, not to mention four out of the seven were engaged in manual work. With this, Ryo suspects that this pirate is a Ninja.

Ryo was too busy paying attention to the stupid pirate, so he did not take the time to explain what he did to this family of three. They're all still afraid of him.

Ryo turned around and wanted to tell them that he was not evil. However, he was too shocked to speak when he saw them: Two out of three have exactly the same hair as Kushina.

The woman's hair was black, while the man and little girl's hair was red. The older one looked like he was in his 20s, and the little girl was only 4 or 5 years old.

Looking at the little girl, Ryo could almost see Kushina within him. Originally, Ryo only wanted to get a sailboat. But now, it seems like these people should be protected, as they might be relatives of his Sensei.

Seeing that the 2 people on the ship were supposed to be from the Uzumaki clan, Ryo began to doubt the pirate's identity.

"You who? Who sent you to kill the people on the ship?”

“K...Good lord, forgive me! I just don't have any money, so I attacked this ship!”

Ryo didn't buy that. It would be a strange coincidence for a pirate to land on Uzumaki's ship.

Ryo did not continue interrogating her; he simply startled her and invaded her memories.

From his memory, he found his true purpose

This so-called "Pirate" was Chunin from the fog village. He and the other Shinobi are tasked with intercepting ships traveling to and from the Wave country, to prevent them from sneaking into the Konoha Ninja.

And Mist Chunin is greedy, taking advantage of this task to disguise himself as a pirate to make money. He did not know the identity of this family, he just thought that this sailboat was the right size for him to rob.

Knowing this, Ryo felt relieved. Most of the interceptions shouldn't be issues that he has to deal with if they happen.

The woman looked like a civilian, with no sign of a Shinobi-level Chakra. However, the red-haired man was different. Ryo sensed a large amount of Chakra coming out from him.

Ryo did not want to make this for too long, just told him directly: “Hei! You're from the Uzumaki clan, aren't you?”

The man blinked, and then jumped to protect the woman and the child with his body, watching Ryo closely.”

"Don't be afraid! I'm not evil! My name is Ryo Yamanaka, one of the Konoha Ninja!” The man's face remained full of hostility, so Ryo went and took out a forehead protector from his pocket.

Seeing that, the man became less defensive.

Since the forehead protector wasn't enough to make him loosen his guard completely, Ryo cut straight into the chase by saying: “I don't know if you know Kushina Uzumaki. I am his student.”

Hearing Kushina's name, the man's eyes sparkled and he finally said: “A disciple of Kushina said you? Do you have any proof?”

Ryo smiles and shows off the many Uzumaki seals he learned from her.

Seeing that, the man confirmed Ryo's identity and was completely relieved.

“My name is Shinshiro, this is my wife Kano, and my daughter Kotori.” The man introduces his family to Ryo.

"Hello!" Ryo and the other two greeted each other. The girl was not afraid at all. During that conversation, he looked at Ryo with a curious look.

“Hey, Onii-san, you know Kushina oba san?” The little girl asked Ryo.

“Sorry, this kid doesn't make sense. But I also want to know how Kushina.” is doing Shinshiro.

"I don't know what the relationship is between Shinshiro san and my teacher?" The young girl's words made Ryo speculate about the relationship between them. Still, Due to Attention, he asked one more question.

“Kushina is my cousin, my uncle's daughter. He was accepted by Konoha when he was 7, and I haven't seen him since. Kotori heard from me that she has a relative, an aunt, named Kushina.” Shinshiro.

Ryo nodded, and told the family everything he knew that was not kept secret.

“Haha, I never thought that with the years that had passed, Kushina would still have that character. It was the same with him when he was a kid!” Shinshiro said with a laugh.

After chatting for a while, Ryo remembered why he had come to this ship: "Shinshiro san, actually, I came to your ship to ask for help!"

“Today, you have helped me a lot! Ask me whatever you want!"

"You don't need my help, I just move unnecessarily." Ryo shook his head helplessly. Shinshiro's massive chakra shop is dozens of times more than necessary to destroy the mist Ninja.

“But still, I need this help. Will you help me with my team to get to the Waves Country?”

“Of course, no problem! We just went there. ” Shinshiro agrees very quickly.

With his agreement, Ryo left and returned with Maan Uchiha, Ming Hyuga and the rest of his team, and they immediately went to the country of the Waves.
