Chapter 118: Facing Hanzo

The Rain Ninja made an ambush at a height around the meeting place, and Ryo hid with them, and he kept feeling around from time to time.

At dawn, the familiar Chakra entered his range of perception. After he senses the Chakra, Ryo is convinced that he has just gotten one of his best opportunities to gain Yahiko's trust.

The chakra belongs to the council member, Danzo Shimura.

“Ryo Yamanaka, you are supposed to be on the battlefield of Lightning Country. What are you doing in the Rain Country? The crime of leaving your post is not a misdemeanor!” Danzo.

“I'd also like to ask you Danzo San about what you're doing here. Could it be that you conspired with the Rain Village to do something that could harm Konoha?” Who has something to fear? Ryo did not want to show weakness, responding to Danzo's threats on charges of directly endangering Konoha.

“No, that is an unfounded claim! I came here under the command of Hokage to help Rain get rid of the traitor!”

“Will you see that! Your mission seems to be at odds with my mission! I have received my orders from the Hokage to form an alliance with Yahiko, while fulfilling Konoha and Stone's promise to never involve the Rain Country in our war again!”

Hearing Ryo, Danzo looked at him in silence.

“Oh, looks like you don't believe me yet! I have a letter from Onoki and the old man is here!” Ryo took out two scrolls and handed them to the trio behind them.

Yahiko took the scroll, and after reading it, he started shaking with excitement.

Then he gave it to Nagato and Konan, who were both happy to read it.

“What does Konoha and Batu mean by this? Why interfere with Rain's internal affairs ?! ” Hearing Ryo, Hanzo asked.

“You were the first to interfere, accept Cloud's terms and interfere in our war!”

“Hanzo alike, why interfere in the war between these great powers! We can no longer allow war to affect the Rain Country! How can you ignore the life and death of people!" yahiko said emotionally.

“You kids are so naive! Not getting involved in a war where the big countries offer huge profits? How will the village grow? We need affiliation with bigger countries!” Hanzo said furiously.

“You've gone mad because of power! From today, we will protect the peace of the Rain Country in its own way.” After Yahiko ended his words, the three turned to leave.

"You're not going anywhere!" Hanzo was angry and frustrated, and ordered the surrounding Ninjas to make an ambush to attack.

"You go; I will prevent them from pursuing you. The Rain country's climate makes it an Ice user's paradise, and Ryo is not afraid of anyone on the battlefield.

“Thank you, but we are not stupid. We're all set. But there is one thing I will ask you, to bring this scroll to our headquarters. Yahiko said, handing the scroll over to Ryo, and rushing into the battle.

Observing the three, Ryo finds a problem: They are too weak. Nagato fought at Jonin's level, while the other two were only Tokubetsu Jonin's level.

It didn't take long for them before they fell under the siege of a large number of Rain Ninja. When they fell, something strange happened.

[Shape Changing Jutsu]! Ryo did not expect Nagato would be able to use this technique as early as possible, and was a little surprised.

It is one of the Rinnegan techniques. When activated, people other than the user can get the same appearance as the person designated by the user, getting all their Jutsu, and 30% of their Chakra.
