Chapter 6: Life in the Village

Sitting on the sofa opposite Latifa were the silver werewolf, Vera, whose greeting was energetic, and the werewolf

Arslan, whose introduction is shy. Vera and Arslan both have village council lineage – Vera is Sara's younger sister – and take lessons on how to lead the village in the future. Both are leaders of their age groups, so by becoming Latifa's first friends, they can encourage other children to warm them up one by one.

“S-It's nice to meet you. I ... Latifa,” Latifa introduced herself hesitantly.

“Ehehe! I'm so happy to make new friends! Let's talk about a lot together!” Vera

said, stand up from the sofa and move to sit next to Latifa instead.

 “This is a question for you!” he said, throwing questions one after another. Arslan was a little shy, but did his best to talk to Latifa as well. It didn't take too long for Latifa to open up to them.

“Arslan, you're acting a little weird. Why don't you see Latifa in person? And your face

also a little red.” Vera tilted her head towards Arslan, who looked rather nervous and uncomfortable.

“She's just shy. Latifa is cute after all. ”

“Ya, right,” says Sara and Alma, smiling happily.

“Wha – is not that! You're wrong! What did you two say?!” Arslan denied with rona

red on his face.

“Ehehe .. Arslan correct. Because Vera is much sweeter. You're just embarrassed, right? Me too.” Latifa

“Wahoo, it makes me so happy! But I think Latifa is more cute,” said Vera, hugging Latifa

tightly.

“Ah, no, not that ..” Arslan muttered as he tried to take back his words

earlier, but Vera's loud voice drowned her. His shoulders slumped because of his mistake.

“Fufu. That tickles, Vera. ” Vera rubbed her cheek into Latifa, making her chuckle with sensation

amusedly. Their ears were pounding happily over their heads.

“Because we're close friends now, how do you think we're playing outside together? Is not

what if I introduce Latifa to others, sister?” Vera asked after she was satisfied with how much they played together.

“Sure, please. But remember that there will be children who cannot understand the language, so you two will have to mediate between them. Understand?” Sara said, giving him permission after stating one condition.

“Of course!” Vera. “Yes! Lefs go. I want to play tag!” Arslan added.

Vera and Arslan grabbed Latifa's hand and pulled her towards the entrance. When they headed to

outside, they ran to Rio, Orphia, and Ursula, who had just returned from their spirit arts lessons. Seeing Rio made Latifa expression excited in an instant.

“Ah, Onii-chan! Welcome back!”

“Wahoo, is this Latifa's sister? He's so cool!” Vera looked at Rio's face and smiled.

“Hoho, how excited,” says Ursula.

“Ah, Chief Elder! Good day.”

“Halo, Chief Elder.” Arslan bowed politely at Ursula, with Vera following.

“Are you going out, Latifa?” Rio asked.

“Yes. We'll play outside. Is that okay?” Latifa said timidly.

“Of course it's okay. I'm thrilled. I'll make dinner and wait for you, so play

everything you want. Thank you for treating Latifa well, you two.” After giving Latifa permission to leave, Rio turned to Vera and Arslan.

“S-It's nice to meet you.”

“Thank you. It's nice to meet you too. I hope you'll be good friends with Latifa. ”

“We are sure to!”

“Iya!” Rio returned the greeting, which made Vera and Arslan nod with enthusiasm.

“then, excuse me, Sara and I will accompany the children.”

“We'll leave the rest to you, Rio. Orphia. ” Sara and Alma go to keep an eye on Latifa and the others.

“Good! We'll have tea and start making dinner. Have fun.” Orphia looked at the outside group with Rio and Ursula.

“We will. We will be back soon – hey, you! Waitaminute! Don't run ahead!” Sara chased after Latifa and the others in a hurry.

“Hoho .. How energized they are,” Ursula muttered with a smile. Rio's mouth also showed

peaceful smile.

Thus, several months had passed since starting their lives in the village. With so much learning,

busy days pass quickly. One day, after Rio and Latifa were used to living in the village .. Rio was in the middle of his spirit arts lessons with Ursula and Orphia, when Latifa ran towards them with incredible speed.

“Onii Chan!” he slipped for a moment before colliding with Rio, then locked him up. Later,

he wrapped his arms around his neck and climbed up his back, until he could peer from behind

the man's shoulder to his face.

“A-What's wrong?” Rio asked, feeling a little unbalanced. At the same time, Vera and

Arslan appears, followed by Sara who takes the back.

“Hey you!” As soon as Sara appeared, she scolded Latifa, Vera, and Arslan.

“What do you do, Latifa?” Her riobert was again when Latifa rubbed her cheek against Rio face innocently.

“Sara won't give us a break. She said I can't come to see Onii-chan! ”

“Do not lie, Latifa. Your statement is deliberately misleading; I said you could see it as soon as you finished studying. I'm just mad that you sneaked out before you finished,” Sara responded to Latifa's ominous words logically. Latifa puffed her cheeks with a frown.

“But learning every day is boring! I want to learn spirit arts too. ”

“You have a lot to learn now. And you've started learning spirit arts, haven't you? ”

“But I want to be with Onii-chan.”

“You shouldn't be as selfish as that,” Sara said with her stubborn belly.

“I don't want to! Hmph, Sara is very grumpy.” Latifa mumbled softly. Sara's mouth was shocked.

“Ap .. Latifa! Sit down over there! ”

“No want!”

“Kuh, this child ..” Sara's body vibrates when Latifa mocks her tongue. Her ears and tail are cute

and gently twitch in a threatening manner.

“S-Sara, don't you think Latifa must be feeling lonely?” After watching silently until now, Orphia quickly walked in to calm Sara down.

“That's right, brother. Latifa just wanted to see her sister. He's learned so much more than us, so he deserves a break! Didn't we? ”
