“D-By-hunam ..” The boy muttered in shock upon seeing Sara's group. Sara's group seemed to be able to hear her words, as their expressions furrowed in the slightest.
“We want to talk to you. Can you come with us quietly without putting up a fight? ”
“Eh? Uh, umm .. haha. ” The boy moved his left hand to his waist in panic, putting a fake smile on his face as he carefully retreated towards the griffin. He glanced towards where the egg was.
“... What egg is it?” Sara asked suspiciously and looked at the egg.
“Oh, umm, I was wondering ..” The boy picked up an egg on his right hand when he measured their faces for their reaction.
“Please do not move suddenly. We don't want to do this the hard way, but we do have appropriate countermeasures in place if we feel hostility from your actions. Will you answer our questions?” Sara asked sincerely as she tried to negotiate a compromise. In reality, humans very rarely pass through these forests. Therefore, the village fighters of – including Sara – do not have much experience with this kind of situation. There is no protocol for this situation.
When Rio infiltrated half a year ago, their vigilance had caused them to act rashly, making them lose their composure and causing Uzuma to go crazy. That was why they reflected on the experience and chose to take a calm approach this time around. However –
“M-Sorry!” The boy stuffed the egg into his side and took out a knife hidden in his waist, moving to cut the rope that tied the griffin to the tree. Then, he jumped onto the griffin's back.
“T-Hold there!” Shouted Sara in panic. But the boy ignored his orders and directed the griffin to fly into the air.
“We have no other choice! Sara, give the order to attack!” Uzuma shouted as she activated the spirit art she held in her hand. The other soldiers immediately prepared themselves for the offense.
“Kuh! Aim Griffin! Make sure you don't kill that human child!” sara ordered and several soldiers launched a harmless spirit art attack into the air. But griffins are not called the rulers of the sky for no reason: with their high intelligence, they can detect low-power attacks directed at them and calmly maneuver in the air to avoid them.
“Kaaaaah!” Griffin let out a high-pitched shriek and flapped his wings as it suddenly accelerated.
“A-It's fast! Get after that – it's village direction! ” Shouted Sara, surprised. The village warriors all kicked the ground and flew into the air.
“Sara, call Ariel!” At some point, Orphia had manifested her own contracted spirit. Alma had already jumped up and down, so Sara rushed to join her.
“Yes, let's go!” Sara's group immediately rose into the sky, flying high above.

“Ugh, why can they fly ?! Damn monsters!” Shouted the boy, seeing the village warriors chasing after him. He had flown into the sky at the chance of once they would not be able to fly after him, but he had not expected the pursuers to be able to catch up in midair. If anything, this makes the situation even worse than before.
“Hey, fly faster! You'll get killed, you know!” his shout was wild, ordering the griffin to accelerate using the method Reiss had taught him.
Due to the desperate order to speed up – or perhaps due to the pressure caused by the attack he just received – griffin gasped in agitation when accelerated. However, it was still not enough to escape from the village warriors behind him. If anything, they closed the distance between them, bit by bit. Realizing that it was only a matter of time before he was arrested, the boy's panic escalated. Just then, a black shadow covered the vision of the boy. A huge mass descended upon it at high speed, stopping right in front of him.
“Hah..?” The boy made a dumbfounded voice. He didn't understand what had just happened.
“Kaaah ?!” Meanwhile, the griffin noticed that something was blocking his path and immediately dropped his speed. As a result, they had barely avoided a collision with it.
However, that sudden movement made the boy fly, along with the egg tucked in his side. The boy's face twisted in fear as he instinctively curled around the egg. Once he had secured the egg in his grasp, the boy fell through the leaves and branches of the tree at high speed.
He felt the branches clinging to his body, the strong collision causing pain all over. In the midst of his fall, he released the egg he had been carefully carrying, and landed on the ground, first.
“Gah!” A groan of pain shot out from the boy's mouth as the egg touched the ground. Large cracks flowed along the shell, and its contents began to leak. At that time –
“A-What ?!” Latifa shy figure appeared; she ran around the forest aimlessly when a boy fell nearby.
“A-Are you okay?” As soon as he saw the fallen brat, he dashed towards him in a hurry.
“Hah? A human...?” Latifa froze looking at the human appearance of the boy. But, regardless of the species, he could not get rid of someone so battered and injured.
“Are you okay?” he asked, and cast a new healing spirit art
“Ugh ...” the boy groaned, and weakly opened his eyes. He finds himself face to face with Latifa, who has twitching fox ears growing on her head. His face was twisted in fear.
“Eek! Away, monster! ” he screamed, turning pale.
“Ap-Ap .. Kya!” Latifa flinched and retreated, trembling. After the boy pushed him away, he fled in panic, his face frowning in pain. Only Latifa and broken eggs left – or
that's how he thought, when …
“Kyaa ?!” Suddenly, a huge black mass fell from the sky, breaking the branches of the tree as it fell. The force of the impact easily blew Latifa away.
“Ugh ... Eek ?!” Latifa opened her eyes from where she lay. In front of his eyes was a dragon-like creature, with its legs and front wings built as one limb, its entire body covered in black scales, and with a height of 20 meters. It stared coldly at Latifa.
It is a Black Wyvern – member of the superior wyvern subspecies, and it sits on top of all the other half dragons. His combat ability was believed to be greater than all but the pure blood dragon itself. Even among the half dragons, they had a completely different caliber than the Winged Lizard that Latifa and Rio encountered in the Wilderness.
“N-Dragon ...” For Latifa, who has never
seeing a real dragon, a form of Black Wyvern
it had a presence that was as great as a true dragon.
“Grrooaar!”
Latifa tried to get up when the Black Wyvern's roar made her tremble. He squeaked and fell back to the ground. As he began to slowly retreat, Black Wyvern glanced at him who said he was inappropriate for time, before looking at his surroundings. Then, as soon as he saw the cracked egg –
“GRAAAAH!”
It made an even greater roar in the sky, and its angry and threatening eyes locked onto Latifa. Black Wyvern twisted his body with a flick; latifa thought that it turned itself around, but a whip-like tail swung horizontally, and the sound of sliced air rang throughout the air. The trees, which grew everywhere around them, were all cut down at once.
Latifa screams fell on deaf ears as it was drowned out by the thunderous collisions made by all the trees that were sent flying.

The village warriors came to a halt due to the sudden situation that befell them. Right after the enraged Black Wyvern suddenly descended on the boys in the griffin, another Black Wyvern appeared – and it led several other wyverns.
“Nona Sara, this is from a subspecies of flying dragon!” Uzuma immediately identified the intruders as she confronted them, when the herd of wyverns threatened to flap their wings from a distance.
“Do not panic! They wouldn't have come this far without success. They won't attack immediately and it looks like they're not here to hunt.. Oh no, don't say ..!” Sara stopped, remembering the egg she had brought.
“Sara, that's the egg! What if that boy just stole that egg?” Alma and Sara came to the same conclusion.
“If so, this is bad. Both she and her eggs were in the forest ..” Sara bit her lips, furrowing her eyebrows.
One of the Black Wyverns had descended to where the boy had landed in search of an egg. If the egg was safe, it was likely that the wyverns would avoid confrontation and return to where they came from. However, if that's not .. the worst case scenario flashed through Sara's head, making her spine goosebumps.
After some time, the Black Wyvern below them let out a roar towards the sky, as the flocks of dragons flying above flapped their wings to show tremendous sadness.
“It seems like it's not an option anymore. This is so bad. Village is there ... ” Alma's face shrinks. The Black Wyvern on the ground swung its tail and knocked down all the trees in the area. In response, the dragon flying in the air attacked Sara and the others.
“Orphia, Alma! We're gonna take care of those two Black Wyverns! Uzuma, you lead the other fighters and eliminate the remaining wyverns! ”
“Understanding!”
