A few hours after the Rio fight.

The Imperial Guard commander, Helmut Albo is receiving a stern rebuke from the King of the Kingdom

Beltram, King Philip III.

“Your Majesty! I believe that it is necessary to conduct further investigations

against the boy! Please give me your approval!”

“Rejected. Starting with the previous fight has proved that he

really was the one who defeated the kidnapper. Didn't we agree that the orphan was indeed the savior of my son?”

But in this case, the situation was very good for Philip III. It's because of the influence

no longer reached Philip III. Helmut knew that it was his defeat. He realized that the King's words were absolute.

He had been defeated and no longer had the chance to deny his defeat. But he still struggles.

“I-That...” Helmut could not reply back to what Philip III had said. He's been cornered. Helmut was a greedy and ambitious man. There are two Knight Divis in the Beltram Kingdom.

The Kingdom Knight served as the core of the regular army and served to protect the country, while the Imperial Guard specifically served the Royal Family and the palace.

The number of active knights in the Kingdom amounted to 6000, 90% of them were members of the Kingdom knights and the rest were Imperial Guards. Knights and witches served as knights who held little power and influence over the nobility.

The electoral process is quite difficult because anyone regardless of social status is allowed

to enter. In just one generation, no one could receive the title of nobleman

knight.

In other words, being a knight was the entrance to becoming a noble. This

also held at the highest level of work for the employee. As mentioned

previously, there were two possible paths on knights, the Kingdom Knight and the Imperial Guard.

So, what makes them different?

It is the rank or position of the member himself.

The rank of Royal nobility from lowest to highest is as follows :

Knights > Magicians > Baronets > Baron > Viscount > Count > Marquis > Duke.

Among the senior knights and magicians, only a small handful were granted high class nobles while others could only ever reach viscount or count.

And Only count nobles or higher ranks could receive their own territory within the Kingdom. The lower nobility as well as the knights received a small portion of the land from the higher nobles to help organize it.

The members of the Kingdom Knight were mostly made up of ordinary people and lower class nobles.

On the other hand, the Imperial Guard was mostly made up of upper-class nobles. It was because Helmut became the Commander of the Imperial Guard and this distinction was created.

Previously, the King was the one who led the Imperial Guard. However, Helmut

cleverly wrest control of the Imperial Guard from the previous King.

During his previous service to the King, he appeared as a loyal knight. Previous king

deceived and appointed him as the Imperial Guard Commander.

Helmut finally reveals his true nature when the previous King is on the verge of death.
