Episode 13 [Can the Sea Drown Ariana's Pain?]

Ariana wanted to step into Camila's room, knowing that Kevin must be there. However, Ariana did not know what she would get if she went there. Seeing Kevin and Camila in the same room, then hearing what they were talking about would only add to her heartache. Nothing will change and come back the way it was. If Camila did conceive Kevin's child as she thought, then that would be the end of all the love stories in her household.

Meanwhile, Wilda now comes to Ariana who chooses to stay in her room. Wilda came up with a face that seemed to withstand so much guilt and sadness. Earlier, Wilda was silent in front of Camila's room and heard some of what she was talking about with Kevin.

"Camila's pregnant and it's Mr. Kevin's baby. That's what I hear when they talk." And Wilda just confirmed all the questions Ariana had in mind.

Ariana did not say anything, nor did she look at Wilda. Ariana's views only lead to a photo of her marriage to Kevin. It's enough now, Ariana is fed up with the photo. The frame on the photo was quite heavy and Ariana usually had trouble lifting such a large and heavy object all by herself, but that feeling of anger and hatred allowed her to lift the frame, then slammed it on the floor. The picture frame and the glass that protects it become smashed into pieces until it looks to scratch several sides of the photo.

Wilda seemed so surprised to see what Ariana did, because she had never seen Ariana slam things before. Ariana, who previously looked so soft, now became fragile, but was covered by a powerful feigned mask that she showed.

Not enough to get there, Ariana now took a piece of glass, then scratched the photo firmly until it showed more damage. Ariana's hand was visibly hurt and Wilda tried to stop it, but to no avail.

The tears that Ariana has been enduring have now finally fallen because this pain has exceeded the limits of Ariana's ability to hold her. Ariana needs to vent all her pain and here's how.

"Please stop. Your hands keep bleeding." Wilda pulls Ariana away, so she stops hurting herself.

Ariana was still squeezing the broken glass, before she finally threw it on the floor. "If anyone asks, just tell them that the buffer frame is broken, and then the photo falls." Ariana had said that to Wilda, before she finally chose to leave the house with a hand that continues to bleed.

Meanwhile, Kevin still did not say anything else after repeating the sentence Camila. From his little game, it now produced a flame of this magnitude, and the flame was so eager to burn it. No, Bryan wouldn't let the fire burn him.

"Why are you silent? Please say something" said Camila, who did not understand what happened to Kevin.

"What do you want me to say? Say you're happy with all this? Is that what you expect from me?"

Camila's face instantly changed after hearing Kevin's words. Kevin loved her, so Camila thought the man would be happy to hear about her pregnancy. But, is it with Kevin now?

"This is your son, Master, so you must be happy."

Kevin seemed silent for a moment, because he thought if he was contrary to Camila's wishes, then he could have dismantled everything. Kevin knows very well how women behave like Camila. She was just a toy, but slowly began to dream of becoming a hostess. So annoying.

"You have to go to the doctor to make sure. I'll set it up, so prepare yourself. After that, we'll talk again." Kevin tried to talk as best he could with Camila.

"When should I go to the doctor?"

"Today too. I'll arrange everything. You get ready, then go in a taxi. We will meet in a chosen place. You just wait for me to hear. Do you understand?" Kevin stared fixedly at Camila who seemed to nod slowly at him.

Kevin came out of Camila's room with a face that clearly showed how angry he was right now. If the doctor's report confirms that Camila is indeed pregnant, then Kevin thinks that he should immediately find a place to get rid of the problem.

Then, Kevin's steps stopped when he saw some servants who carried broken glass trash and photo frame pieces that as he remembered it was a picture frame of his wedding with Ariana. "Auntie, what happened?" Kevin asked Wilda who had just arrived.

"What's? How's it possible?" Kevin looked confused.

"It could have happened when the burden was no longer able to be held back" Wilda replied.

"What does Aunt mean?" ask Kevin again.

"What's going on? Why did you suddenly go home as if something was urgent?" Wilda asked Kevin.

"There was a little bit of a problem and I'll get rid of it soon" Kevin replied.

Wilda doesn't know anything bad about what Kevin's gonna do now. Previously, he believed that Kevin would soon end his dark relationship with Camila, then everything would be fine, but Kevin still fostered the destruction of his own future to this extent. If only Kevin knew that Ariana had known everything and just waited for the time when everything would explode.

"Hopefully it's not too late." Wilda left after feeling well-talked to Kevin.

Kevin did not think much about Wilda's words, because he was curious about what really happened to his wedding photo. Kevin now headed to his room and once he got there, he saw his wedding photo on the table with a lot of scratches and even some torn parts, and it looked deliberate, not because it fell and was hit by broken glass from the frame.

"Blood?" Kevin was heard muttering when he saw there were blood stains on his picture and Ariana.

Ariana drives her car with no direction and no definite purpose. Ariana was so anxious to escape from all this pain because her chest felt so tight right now, but she didn't even know where to go now. Ariana thought it was just an ordinary affair that might still be fixed, but it was not like that because there would even be babies now.

Tears kept falling on Ariana's cheeks, along with the sweet memories of her and Kevin's constantly swirling in her mind, but all those memories seemed colorless again. His life was so dark and his heart was torn apart at every moment.

Everything seems to happen so fast, from knowing Kevin's lies, to his affair, and now the news of his affair pregnancy. Ariana has not even digested one fact, then another fact has emerged that is more painful.

Ariana still doesn't understand why all this happened? What exactly is wrong or lacking in her marriage? Or what kind of mistake was he? Her looks? Is being a good wife not enough?

Ariana knew nothing even when she stopped her car near the beach, she still didn't know what to do here. Ariana got out of her car and stared at the vast ocean in front of her. His hand still continued to bleed, but Ariana seemed to not care about the wound because there was an invisible wound, but the pain was many times more than the scratch.

"The sea water and the waves felt could drown out all my pain. Then, am I wrong to try to take my pain off?" another sentence from the woman whose heart had been hurt by her mother came back to Ariana's mind.

Slowly, Ariana's legs stepped onto the beach, but Ariana's steps did not stop even though she had stepped to the depth of the water almost hit her knee. All her life, Ariana had never felt this much pain. When her loved ones destroy her love and trust, Ariana doesn't even know how to explain her current pain.

"Mother." The soft and sweet voice rang out in Ariana's ears, making her step stop and she looked back.

Ariana saw Emily waving her hands while smiling at her. Ariana also seemed to smile accompanied by tears that continued to fall on her cheeks. However, Ariana's vision became blurred and eventually darkened. Ariana's body fell in the water and was slowly carried away by the waves.
