Episode 59 [Sickness]

"Mother, can I part with Eric?" this question finally came out of Mina's lips after she lasted for so long. Mina is getting tired of this marriage because only she is struggling. In the past, Mina thought her marriage would improve after Ariana chose to leave, but she did not. The problem is not Ariana, but marriage is the problem.

This middle-aged woman named Vivian looked sad to hear Mina say, but she also understood why Mina said all that. Since before getting married, Vivian has seen how Mina struggles to melt Eric's heart and it must be very tiring.

"I'm sorry I married you to her. You're a nice woman who even saved Eric's life, but I hurt you like this. He will surely regret what he did to you." Vivian seemed to cry and Mina immediately hugged her so tightly.

"Me and Eric were probably destined to just get here. You don't have to feel guilty or regret it. We have to separate so as not to continue to scour each other" Mina said.

"So, now you agree to part?" a voice rang out which made the embrace of Mina and Vivian instantly detach.

Mina and Vivian immediately turned their heads towards the source of the voice, then they saw Eric who had just returned home and heard Mina's words about the separation. They could see how happy Eric was to hear the farewell and it was nothing new to Mina.

"Yes, I hope you can be happy afterwards. I'm going back to my house tonight and you can take care of our divorce." Mina went to her room to get all her stuff done.

"I'll be happy. Thank you." Thank you." Eric spoke a little loudly to be heard by Mina who looked unconcerned.

"Mother look, right? She's the one who wants a divorce, I'm not the one who's divorcing her, so I'm not gonna cause any trouble." Eric is talking to his mother.

"You don't even know whose blessing you can live up to this moment. You'll regret everything." Vivian just said it to Eric and then left.

"What has he given me? There's nothing!" eric said the least bit curious about why his mother talked like that about Mina.

Mark, who was supposed to have returned to Korea, has now chosen to stay longer in Toronto to be with Ariana and Emily. Mark enjoyed every moment he spent with his mother and son, especially when he and Emily seemed to be judges when Ariana made a cake by following a recipe she found on the internet.

Ariana is often making cakes lately, because it seems to have become her new hobby. Ariana even plans to take a special school that gives her training in making various types of cakes because in the future, Ariana has plans to open a cake business. Mark is happy to hear it and always cheers Ariana.

"Am I too old to learn anything?" Ariana asked Mark.

"Don't people say that learning doesn't recognize age? You can learn anything without thinking about age. You have to be confident. After all, you don't look old. Tell me, what is the secret of your youth?"

"Don't keep teasing me!" Ariana made an upset face.

"Why? Are you afraid of misbehavior again?"

"When was I wrong? I'm just plain." Ariana tried to avoid.

"Why? What's going on?" ask Ariana.

"sickness. My stomach hurts." Emily was crying. Ariana immediately raises Emily to her lap and looks worried about her, as well as Mark.

"When did your stomach hurt?" Mark asked with a face that looked so worried.

"Since. Mother, pain ..." Emily was crying so hard.

"Let's go to the hospital." Ariana tries to lift Emily's body, but Mark has taken Emily from her. Ariana did not protest, because she was so worried about Emily.

After being taken to the hospital and getting a doctor's examination, Ariana was told that the cause of Emily's stomach pain was due to an infection in her digestion and she had to be hospitalized for further treatment.

As a mother, Ariana's heart certainly hurt to see her daughter sick, but luckily there was Mark who strengthened her and always accompanied her. Mark's current presence is something that Ariana is very grateful for, because in this foreign country he is not so close to anyone who can share his grief.

Ariana is sitting next to Emily's bed, while Emily is seen lying down and starting to fall asleep. Behind Ariana, there's Mark who doesn't take his eyes off Emily. Mark knew there was no feeling more hurtful to Ariana than seeing her beloved daughter hurt and that also made her sad.

"Sleep on the couch for a while, let me take care of Emily" Mark said. There's a long sofa in this room, enough for Ariana's resting place. It's almost morning, but Ariana hasn't rested since.

"I won't be able to sleep."

"Try first. Come on." Mark forced Ariana to stand up, then made her sit on the long sofa. Not getting there, Mark now makes sure Ariana is lying down, then takes off her jacket to cover Ariana.

"Sleep" Mark said afterwards.

"March ..." Ariana wanted to wake up, but Mark forced her to lie down."

"I said sleep. I'll take care of Emily." Mark is now sitting next to Emily's bed and continues to condition Ariana to sleep.

"Thank you" said Ariana because she was really touched by Mark.

"For what? I'm just asking you to go to sleep and it's nothing special. Get to sleep quickly." Mark smiled, then turned his body around to focus on Emily.

Ariana kept staring at Mark and Emily, then gave a small smile when she saw Mark justifying Emily's blanket. Although Mark said that what he did was not something special, but Ariana felt the opposite.
