Episode 7 [Defying Reality]

When Ariana arrived home with Emily, she saw Kevin, who was already home, still in office clothes, and said he had just returned from work. Ariana also got a warm hug and a sweet kiss on her lips as an expression of congratulations on her achievement today. When she gets hugs, kisses, and congratulations from Kevin, Ariana looks smiling, but there are many things hidden behind her smile.

"So, you just left the office?" ariana asked after Kevin didn't hug her anymore.

"Yes, I finished my work as soon as possible, so we can go to dinner. Have you chosen the place?"

"Yes, I've arranged everything" replied Ariana.

Ariana would not say what she heard from Ella, because she had confirmed Ella's remarks by coming to Kevin's office, and she had left the office early, it was exactly as Ella had said, so it was clear who was lying. Ariana also asked people in the office not to tell Kevin that he was coming. Ariana wanted to know if Kevin wanted to explain something about this even if not asked, or he would just remain silent and lie to her.

Today, before going out to dinner, Emily insists that it be Ariana who combs and tidies her hair, not Yuri, so Ariana postpones the time to get ready and focus on Emily, so that her little girl's mood doesn't turn bad.

When Ariana tidied Emily's hair to make her look beautiful, she told Yuri to let her rest early today, because she and Kevin will take care of Emily now. Yuri thanked him and then said goodbye to go to his room.

"Mother." Emily opened the conversation after a moment of silence.

"Yes? Do you want to change your hairstyle? You don't like this?" ariana asked as she stared at the reflection of herself and Emily in the mirror.

"No, I like this. But, Mother ..." Emily seems speechless as she recalls what Yuri said about her father coming out of the room with a servant.

"They can fight or part if Miss says it and Miss will not be able to be with them anymore. So let's hide it. Doesn't Miss want to continue living with them?" this is what Yuri said when Emily asked her why she couldn't tell her mother that her father had come out of the room with a servant. Emily was a child and was frightened by such a thing, so of course she chose to be quiet, so that her parents would not separate.

"Why? Do you want to say something?" Ariana looked directly at her daughter, no longer through her reflection in the mirror.

"No, I don't want to say anything" Emily said in the end.

As a mother, Ariana could feel something different from her daughter. "What's up, honey? Are you okay at school?"

"Aunt Yuri said, I can't say it or Mom and Dad will fight. I won't say it."

Ariana frowned, confused by what Emily had said. Ariana turns the chair occupied by Emily, so that Emily can face him. "Aunt Yuri told you that? About what?" ask Ariana.

"Mother, I can't say it. Mom and Dad will split up if I say so."

Jesus, Ariana has no idea what Yuri has told Emily behind her back. "We'll be fine, so tell Mom, what is it? Don't be afraid because it won't change. Come on, tell mom." Ariana tried to persuade Emily.

"I won't say it." Emily covered her mouth with both hands.

Ariana went straight to Yuri's room. Ariana's arrival also makes Yuri very surprised, especially when looking at Ariana's gaze that looks not as friendly as usual. Ariana went in and said to Yuri's room, without saying anything.

"Do you need anything?" yuri asked with a little fear.

"What do you mean tell Emily if she says something, then me and Kevin will split up? How dare you say such a thing to my daughter!" Ariana who does not like pleasantries directly at the core of the conversation she wants to convey to Yuri.

"I don't mean .. I just ..." Yuri had difficulty speaking because she did not know what to say. Yuri doesn't want to keep lying to Ariana, but she is also afraid of Kevin. If it could ask, Yuri never wanted to get involved with any of this.

"What are you hiding from me? Did you betray my trust in you? What's that like?"

"It's not like that. I've never wanted to betray you. Never once."

"Then talk to me. What do you mean by what you said to Emily?" Ariana kept pushing Yuri.

Yuri squeezed the end of her clothes and did not find the best solution to escape from this situation. However, is it possible that it is time for Ariana to find out what happened between Kevin and Camila? But, what would happen if he talked to Ariana about the affair?

Yuri is now suddenly on her knees and apologizes, making Ariana even more confused. Yuri will not forget the kindness of Ariana who once helped him when he needed money immediately when there was trouble in his family and Ariana never even asked for the money back. Yuri became very guilty of betraying Ariana this way.

"Yuri, what's really going on?" Ariana asked again.

"I forbid Miss Emily to say anything about her that last night saw Mr. Kevin out of your room with Camila. Me and all the servants also knew that they were in a forbidden relationship. I've seen them kissing in the pavilion, but I don't dare to talk because Mr. Kevin threatened me. Please forgive me. Please don't fire me."

Ariana froze after hearing Yuri. Ariana recalled the hair found on Kevin's pillow and his dress. Does that mean Camila came to her room more than just to clean her room? But, how could Kevin do this to her? Didn't Kevin love her so much? Then, what about today? Did Kevin lie to her for wanting to be with Camila?

"I've also seen Mr. Kevin break into Camila's room while you're at work" Yuri continued.

"So, everyone knows that even my daughter sees dirty things, but I'm the only one who doesn't know and you keep looking at me like a fool. Is that what you mean?" Ariana finally spoke after a moment of silence.

"I've never seen you that way" said Yuri, who is currently kneeling in front of Ariana.

Tears fell on Ariana's cheeks and she couldn't believe any of this. How could Kevin betray him with the servant who served him every day even let the woman into his bed? Not likely. Ariana is convinced that Kevin loves her and that it is impossible to cheat.

"I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I'll do anything for you to forgive me." Yuri apologized for the umpteenth time.

Ariana said nothing and chose to leave Yuri's room. Ariana rubbed her tears violently and still denied what Yuri said or what was on her mind about Kevin and Camila. Ariana couldn't take it. Kevin is his world, what would it be if his world really destroyed him like that?
