Episode 20 [Camila's Big Takeover]

Ariana seemed silent for a while, then laughed after hearing Kevin's words. Ariana brushed off Kevin's hand and then said, "Now, I'm not even surprised to see you do something bad to me. Do you think threats will make me hang out with you? I'm getting sick of it now. I'm so sick of it that it feels like it could explode." Ariana left immediately after talking to Kevin.

Kevin wants to chase Ariana again, but her phone rings first and it's a phone from her mother's house phone. Feeling something was wrong, Kevin quickly answered the phone while looking at Ariana who was seen stopping the taxi. Kevin stepped over Ariana, but his footsteps were restrained after hearing the words of the butler at his mother's residence.

"Mrs Fiona is in the hospital." This is what Kevin heard and at the same time, Ariana had gotten into a taxi and chose to leave.

Although still want to talk to Ariana, but Kevin also can not ignore his mother. Kevin's decision is that he goes to the hospital to see his mother. Ariana chose to return home.

At home, Ariana, who wants to go to Emily's room, is now made speechless by the presence of Camila. Ariana reckon, Camila must be waiting for her arrival. The woman looked like she had something to say to her, Ariana thought.

"I thought, You are a classy woman, but your actions today are far from classy. You stole my personal belongings and showed them without my consent. That's very low." Camila started talking like Ariana had thought.

"I'm lowly? Then, what about you? You stole someone else's husband ...."

"You speak as if the affair happened because of one person, but it was Mr. Kevin who approached me first ...."

"And you gladly accept it." Ariana quickly interrupted Camila's remarks, just as the woman had done to her.

"If you really have common sense, then you will not demean yourself in such a way" Ariana said.

Camila stepped up to get closer to Ariana. "We love each other and for me there is nothing humbled in love." Camila spoke again.

Ariana laughed at that. Ariana thought Camila was brave, but she was just shameless and a little innocent. "You love each other? If Kevin does love you, then why would he leave you here and chase me? Earlier, Kevin said that he would leave you, so that our marriage would be maintained. He even cried and begged me not to go."

Camila was seen heating up hearing Ariana's words. Camila's two hands even looked clenched and it was seen by Ariana. "Having ambition is good, but you put your ambition on the wrong thing. You want to take my place as the Madam in this house, right? All right, I'll give it to you. You may be able to get the Madam position, but it will never make you equal to me. You will be tormented for the rest of your life for your ambition to be like me." Ariana added the atmosphere became hotter, then stepped away from Camila.

"I'm not going to be like you, because I'm going to grow beyond you!" Camila still sounds full of ambition.

Ariana did not care what Camila said because she was too tired and fed up at the moment. Ariana went into Emily's room and slept next to her. Ariana looked at Emily and her tears just spilled. Not her, but Ariana knows that Emily will be the one hurt the most by her separation from Kevin.

It is painful to imagine how Emily who still does not understand anything should be given an explanation about her parents who no longer live together, moreover, this will not be easy because Kevin who blatantly wants to master Emily. However, Ariana could not survive for the sake of Emily's happiness, because a small child could easily feel the disharmony of her parents' household and in the end it would also hurt her.

"Mom won't give up on you. I've seen how bad your father's nature is and I won't let you stay with him." Ariana spoke very quietly on the sidelines of her crying, then kissed Emily's forehead.

In the morning, the house seemed calm as usual, as if nothing had happened. The servants did their usual activities, especially Camila, although she did not want to do any work after what happened last night. What looked different was Kevin who had not been seen since, when usually he had woken up at a clock like this.

On the other hand, Ariana looked down the stairs with Emily who was ready with her school and Yuri who followed behind her. In front of Emily, Ariana acted as if there was nothing different, other than not having Emily have breakfast at home as usual. Ariana asks Yuri to take Emily to the car first and will have breakfast elsewhere. While Ariana now looks at Camila who is busy preparing breakfast, but who will eat the breakfast, because Kevin like he has not come home and does not know where he is at this time.

"Good morning, Mrs Ariana. Why didn't Miss Emily have breakfast first? Where is Mr Kevin now? Is he not awake yet?" Wilda finally asked Ariana. Wilda also wanted to ask about what happened last night, but had not yet gotten a proper chance to ask.

"About Kevin, I don't know where he is. Why not ask Camila? He probably knows." The eyes of all the servants instantly fell on Camila after Ariana issued the sentence. They, with the exception of Wilda, now wonder if Ariana already knew of the affair?

Last night's surprise came after the waiter's work was over and it had entered their break time, their room was far behind, so they knew nothing about the surprise.

Camila can only be silent to hear Ariana's remarks, but it turns out Ariana is not finished with her game. "Don't work too much while pregnant because it's not good for you. Didn't Kevin tell you that? Too bad, when I was pregnant Kevin carried me from room to table." Camila also had to go back to hearing Ariana's sentence which sounded like a mockery to her.

"Pregnant?" the servants began to whisper.

Camila squeezed the end of her uniform so tightly. Camila couldn't stand it anymore, until she finally said, "But in the end Mr. Kevin still ran into another woman's arms." And everyone was surprised to hear Camila who now dared to reply to Ariana's words.

"So what you say!" Wilda warned Camila.

"It's okay, Auntie, he just showed his quality" Ariana said.

"Is your mother's quality like this too?" Camila became more and more courageous. Camila talks like this because she has heard stories from Kevin about Ariana's mother that are the cause of her dislike by Fiona.

"Camila!" Wilda raised her tone.

Ariana did not expect that Camila would bring her mother into this conversation. "You know best what the qualities of a woman like you are." Ariana just said this and then went after Emily.

Wlida now walked up to Camila, stood in front of her, and looked at her with such a sharp gaze. "I don't know what happened last night, but you should be ashamed, instead of embarrassing yourself even more" Wilda said, then left.

"Because Ariana is the mistress here, so she can say anything and I can't? Ariana is just an arrogant person who treats others based on their social status. How can it be called classy?" pissed Camila. Camila now threw the spoon she had been holding, then left.

At the hospital, Kevin was seen still accompanying his mother whose condition had improved slightly after previously his health had deteriorated due to the burden of his mind. Kevin intends to just go home after his mother finishes breakfast, then take the medicine. Kevin hopes he will soon get a chance to talk to Ariana after he is done with this affair.

"So, what's Ariana's decision?" Fiona asked while enjoying the breakfast that Kevin fed.

"He wants to split up" Kevin replied.

"Then, Emily's custody will most likely fall on her. Damnit damnit! Because of your stupidity, I'm threatened to lose Emily." Fiona looks so upset.

"I'm not gonna let that happen. I'm ...."

"Don't just talk. I don't care if Ariana gets separated from you, it's really nice, but don't let Emily fall into her hands or you'll act. The mother's granddaughter is only Emily, not the child conceived by the maid. You better get him done soon." Fiona's tone was filled with emphasis and also commands.
