Episode 40 [Punishment]

There are a lot of people in this hospital and Camila's condition is still relatively weak, so she won't be able to hurt Ariana. Some people swiftly stopped Camila's crazy actions, then took her away to be calmed down. Ariana was still silent in place with a face that looked terrified.

"You and your mother are indeed the fucking women who ruined my life!" however, Ariana heard that shout from Camila which made her instantly stunned. Ariana thought Camila only knew about her mother, but what did she mean?

"Are you okay?" a woman in a nurse's uniform touches Ariana's arm gently as she continues to be silent and stares at Camila.

"Yes, I'm fine" replied Ariana and the nurse left.

Ariana was still in her place, because she still did not understand the purpose of Camila's words. After everything that happened it was clear that Camila and Kevin had ruined her life, but the woman said otherwise.

However, when Ariana thought again about Camila's ambition all along, she somehow suddenly felt that it was not purely out of love. Could it be not love that gave Camila all that courage, but something else? But what made it this way?

When Camila dares to find trouble with Fiona, let alone injure Kevin, then that is the path to his destruction. Fiona is always looking for a way to get rid of Camila from Kevin's life and when the opportunity comes, she won't waste it.

"I'll pay it all back." Camila said the sentence with just a lip gesture as Ariana continued to stare fixedly at him. Camila was convinced that Ariana understood the movements of her lips when she saw her current expression.

Yes, Ariana understood the sentence that Camila said through the movement of her lips. Ariana feels she is not responsible for whatever happens to Camila's life. What Camila received was the result of everything she did, so Ariana did not feel afraid.

"One problem is done. May Kevin quickly wake up, then think about how to take Emily away from the woman" Fiona muttered after Camila was finally taken away by police.

Fiona turned her body and she saw Ariana standing not far from her. Ariana also looked at him and Fiona really hated that look, because Ariana always looked as if she was humiliating and laughing at him.

Fiona was so panicked from last night that she only realized one thing. "You've been here since last night, does that mean you left Emily alone? What kind of mother are you?" fiona said in a tone that sounded like an angry person.

"Emily is with my best friend and she's fine, so I don't have to worry much about talking to me in that tone."

"I don't leave my daughter to just anyone. I only trust people who I think deserve it. So, Miss Fiona, you don't have to be angry like this. Don't waste your energy on me, save it to accompany your son. Excuse me." Ariana immediately changed the way she spoke and then left.

"Woman sucks. But who did she leave Emily with? What is that guy?" Fiona recalled the figure of the man who had been caught on camera with Ariana.

Before leaving the hospital to carry out her duties as a mother, Ariana had seen the circumstances of Kevin first. Given Kevin's unstable condition, the clock is limited, so Ariana can only see Kevin from behind the window.

"While you've hurt me, but you're Emily's father, so wake up quickly because you owe her an explanation." Ariana left after she finished speaking.

Ariana is on her way to pick up Emily after being escorted to school this morning by Mark. Ariana never trusted Emily to anyone, as she did to Mark. Ariana had known Mark for a long time, so she felt at ease when she left Emily for him. But when she arrived at school, Ariana saw Mark was already in front of Emily's school, but Ariana had already said that he would pick up Emily.

"Why are you here? Aren't you working?" ariana asked after she stood next to Mark.

"I forgot to tell you that Emily and I had an appointment, so I had to pick her up. Don't worry, I'm free today."

"You have an appointment with Emily? What promise?" ask Ariana again.

"You'll know later. How's Kevin doing? I haven't told Emily about it."

"He is still critical and unconscious. Let's keep it a secret from Emily until Kevin's condition is better. I wouldn't be able to handle Emily if she whined that she wanted to meet Kevin, whereas in the hospital no one could just walk in to see her."

"Well, I won't say it." Mark smiled, but in fact he was holding back jealousy because Ariana still cared so much for Kevin even to look after him all night even though the man had hurt him. Is it wrong if he dreams of getting that kind of attention also from Ariana?
