Episode 44 [The Disappearance of Emily]

"It's funny to see a child still standing up for his mother who has done such a shameful deed. Your words won't change anything, so leave now! You murderer!" Camila spoke in a high tone to Ariana. Camila has hated Ariana so much, so she won't believe anything Ariana tells her. Why should he believe in the enemy? So ridiculous.

Ariana grabbed the photo she had just shown, then squeezed it in front of Camila. Luckily there was a glass barrier between her and Camila or she would actually slap Camila's mouth daring to call her a killer.

"Who is so focused on ambition and obsession for revenge that he ignores it? That'sthat's you. Who's looking for trouble with Fiona and Kevin? That's you too. You're the source of the problem, but you're too shy to admit it to throw it at someone else. I'm not responsible for anything that happens to you. If anyone has to take revenge, then that person is me, not you. So, the point is, this whole thing happened because of you. Accept that reality." Ariana leaves after feeling quite talkative with Camila.

"I'll pay back all this! I will definitely do it!" Camila screamed while hitting the glass barrier, hoping it would break, then she would chase after Ariana and kill him. However, the officer stopped his actions and took him back to the holding cell.

Ariana heard everything Camila said, but she did not stop her steps. To be honest, there is pity in Ariana's heart after knowing that Camila is also a victim of her parents' mistakes, just like her. However, Ariana does not show pity and care for people who do not need it.

Ariana reckon, Camila's mother has misunderstood all the problems. Although she was a child, Ariana remembered how manipulative Camila's father was. Maybe that trait is what makes Camila and Camila's own mother believe that her mother has destroyed the marriage. However, Camila hated him too much to the point of not being able to see that fact.

As she was about to get into her car, Ariana received a call from Wilda. As far as Ariana is concerned, Wilda is currently in the hospital to visit Kevin and Ariana has heard the news that Kevin has come to his senses. Kevin's critical period has passed and Ariana is happy to hear it. But why did Wilda call him?

"Hello, Auntie" said Ariana as she opened her car door.

"Look, I'm calling because Mr. Kevin wants to see you."

Ariana's hand stopped after hearing Wilda's words. Kevin's condition is better, so Ariana feels he should not rush there. "I'll be there later. Now, I have to go to the zoo with Emily. I'll be with Emily. Please tell Kevin that." That's why Ariana said that to Wilda.

Ariana thought the phone would end later, but she heard Kevin's voice. "Are you going with Mark?" ask Kevin, make Ariana know that Fiona has told Kevin everything. Is Fiona telling the story right? Or exaggerated?

"You just focus on your recovery first" Ariana said as she got into her car.

"I'm asking you." Kevin still wants answers from Ariana.

Ariana sighed, then said, "Yes, we go with her."

"That's it, Kevin, I don't want to argue right now. You take a break, we'll meet later and I'll take Emily because you've improved." Ariana tried to shorten this conversation, although she did not understand what Kevin meant. What if Emily went with Mark? Why did Kevin and his mother act like it was such a big deal?

"Emily is my daughter. I didn't give her permission to go with anyone else!" Kevin emphasized his words.

"Listen to me carefully, Emily already knows that we're separated. Emily is sad and I'm trying to cheer her up. I didn't want to involve Mark, but I saw he could have a good influence on Emily, so ...."

"So you're close to him again. Do you love her?" Kevin interrupted Ariana's words.

"Kevin, Camila just miscarried and she went to jail. Watch him too. See you later." Ariana chose to disconnect the phone because she felt that this conversation had been too long.

Kevin wanted to yell annoyed after Ariana hung up the phone just like that, but the wound still hurt, so he had to hold back. Kevin returned Wilda's phone, then laid her body comfortably.

"You should rest first, so that the wound dries quickly. I'm really worried about remembering what happened that night." Wilda is still traumatized by Camila's actions on Kevin.

"I'm fine now, so Auntie doesn't have to worry. It's my fault too, right? I started it first because I was drunk at the time. If Auntie wasn't there, then I don't know what would happen to me."

"I'm glad you're okay now, but there's something about Camila. Camila keeps a childhood photo of Mrs Ariana and Mrs Ariana trying to figure out why Camila kept the photo." Wilda also showed me the photo she meant to Kevin.

Today, Emily seems so excited when visiting the zoo because in addition to seeing many animals, Emily was also taught a new thing by Mark, namely taking photos with his camera. Emily loves to learn new things, so of course she's excited.

Ariana feels she is just a complement at this time because Emily is always busy with Mark. Emily just called Ariana when she was going to take photos and Ariana actually took more photos of Emily and Mark. Ariana had no problem with that because the most important thing was that Emily was happy.

However, a tragedy happened. There was an unexpected commotion because a fugitive in disguise came to the zoo to meet someone, and the police came to arrest him. The chase action had occurred and that's what made a scene because people were scared and Emily regardless of the supervision of Ariana and Mark. Mark and Ariana try to find Emily's whereabouts, but Emily just disappears as if someone had taken her.
