Episode 16 [The Bomb That Finally Exploded]

When Kevin was busy bathing, Ariana was seen sitting in the living room accompanied by a glass and a bottle of wine. Ariana poured wine into a special glass of wine, then took a sip while glancing at the wall clock in the room. It had been twelve minutes since her mother-in-law received the message and Ariana was sure that her mother-in-law would arrive soon. When it comes to Emily, then her mother-in-law won't waste any time, she'll come no matter what. Ariana knew that.

On the other hand, Wilda looks closer to Ariana with a black gift box that looks luxurious, according to Fiona's taste. While in the maid's special room, Camila had just returned to her room after finishing the job that Wilda had suddenly given her and now, she was, Camila felt that someone had entered her room because her clothes had shifted from where they had been.

Camila checks her belongings and nothing is missing, then she sees a storage box that looks not closed perfectly, but previously it was not like that. Camila opened the box and saw that her test pack and USG photos were not there.

"Who took it?" camila muttered.

Ariana was so eager to scream now and threw the box and its contents right in Kevin and Camila's face, but again she had to hold back.

"Are you okay?" ask Wilda.

Ariana opened her eyes and sighed. "Yes, I'm fine. Thank ye. Now, Aunt can rest" said Ariana.

"What are you going to do with all this?" Wilda asked again.

"Leave it to me. Rest up. I beg you."

When Wilda steps away, Kevin comes because Ariana is not coming back to the room. Kevin thinks Ariana is still angry with him for what happened this afternoon, so he will apologize again to Ariana. Kevin approached Ariana, he briefly glanced at the box on the table, and then sat down next to him.

"Why don't you go back to the room? Are you still mad at me? Please forgive me" said Kevin.

Ariana looked at Kevin and forced her smile. "I'm waiting for someone to come, so I'm sitting here, not mad at you." Ariana was really impatient to see the reaction of her mother-in-law when she found out that she was going to have a granddaughter from her son's lover.

"Who were you waiting for last night? So, what's in this box?"

"You'll know later. Would you like a drink with me?"

Not yet Kevin answered he was surprised by the arrival of his mother. His mother came in with a face that looked like an angry person and mixed with worry, making Kevin feel confused to see it. Kevin immediately approached his mother, while Ariana was still loyal in her seat and enjoyed her drink.

Now, Fiona who looks confused, because in the message was written that Kevin and Ariana are not at home, but in fact they are at home even Ariana looks so relaxed while enjoying her drink.

"You texted me and asked me to look after Emily who was sick because you and Ariana weren't home" Fiona said, and she got a confused look from Kevin.

"I didn't send any messages to Mom. Emily's fine too, she's not sick. As for me and Ariana, we've been home since." At this point, Kevin felt that something was wrong with his mother.

"I sent that message from Kevin's phone." And Ariana spoke so casually.

Fiona dsn Kevin's view immediately leads to Ariana. They don't understand what Ariana is doing. "What the fuck? Are you playing my mother?" ask Kevin.

"I didn't mean that. I just wanted to surprise Mom." Ariana smiled at Fiona.

"Crazy woman! What do you think, this is funny?!" Fiona raised her tone. Fiona was so angry at this moment that it felt like she wanted to slap hard on Ariana.

"Please calm down, Mother, because I haven't given Mom her surprise yet. Are you ready for a surprise from me?" Ariana still looks smiling. Ariana will smile until the bomb explodes.

"Actually, what are you doing?" Kevin was also upset to see Ariana's behavior that he thought was so strange even began to be a bit annoying.

"It's a surprise for you, too. Wait a minute, I'll take the surprise." Ariana went to get the box on the table, then came back and handed the box to her husband and mother-in-law.

"Who would take it? Mammy? Or you?" Ariana asked as she looked at Fiona and Kevin in turn.

"What happened to you? Are you still sick?" Kevin asked Ariana. Right now, Kevin is like seeing a stranger. Kevin doesn't recognize Ariana at all right now.
