Since Ariana returned the questioner and said he would leave, Mark has not communicated with Ariana since. Mark finds it difficult to face Ariana after being rejected by her and when he gets to see her again, Mark learns that Ariana is no longer living in his old house, at the same time news spread that Ariana chose to retreat from the glass screen and she left Korea, but no one knows for sure where she went.

After learning about it, Mark tried to contact Ariana, but could not. Mark also tried asking Ariana's closest friend, Tina, but said he also did not know exactly where Ariana went. Tina explains that Ariana said she would look for a quiet life, but did not say where to go.

The world is too vast for Mark to explore without any clue and he had felt to just give up looking for Ariana. Until finally, one week ago, Mark had to go to Canada for a job and meet someone. Mark's goal was not Toronto, but Quebec City, but he felt he wanted to explore Canada a little after finishing his job, so he went to Toronto. Mark arrived in Toronto yesterday and planned to go to another city in two days' time, until finally, Mark saw something surprising, namely Ariana.

Intending to find a cafe that is still open to order coffee, from behind the glass window, Mark saw Ariana who sat silent. At first, Mark thought he saw it wrong, but the more he looked at the woman, he was sure it was Ariana.

Ariana did not expect that Mark would be here, even now sitting in front of him after he let in even though the cafe was closed. Ariana also made Mark coffee and gave him a piece of cake.

Mark continued to stare intently at Ariana who now looks a little different because of her shorter hair than before, but she is still very beautiful and will always be like that. Mark is happy because Ariana doesn't look as good as before. Now, Ariana is starting to look more fresh like Ariana he used to meet during the photo shoot. If Ariana turns out like this, then it means she's living well and Mark is happy to know about it.

"How are you?" Mark opened the conversation.

"I'm good, better than ever. How's yours?"

"I'm good too. What about Emily? Where is he?"

"Emily asked permission to her friend's house and I'll pick her up later."

"Emily even has friends now. I'm glad to hear it." Mark looked smiling.

"Are you here to work?"

"Yes, I also met someone for a business. My destination was Quebec City, but suddenly I wanted to take a walk, so I came to this city and I surprisingly saw you. I've been looking for you for a long time and almost gave up, but I'm glad to see you again."

"Why do you always spend your time this way? You must ...."

"Living my life, right? This is how I live my life. Don't mind how I feel about you, I won't bother you with that. Being able to meet you again and see you're okay is enough for you. I won't ask for more than that." Mark instead gave up on his feelings, but he chose to respect Ariana's decision.

Ariana paused for a moment and finally said, "I appreciate your feelings for me that are still there to this day, but I was too afraid to face love. The problem isn't you, it's me."

Mark certainly understands Ariana's feelings, though not completely, because no one can really understand Ariana's feelings, except being in the same situation as her. The events that befell him must have left a trauma that was so profound and not easy to heal.

"I understand, but you have to find a bright light that can get rid of your fears. Whoever that person is, I will always be happy for you" Mark said with a smile.

"Drink your coffee." Ariana spoke with a smile, then went back to enjoying her drink. Ariana still does not want to talk that far, he wants to enjoy the step by step that he went through in his life. However, if the person Mark was going to be present in his life, Ariana hopes it is his last love that will never hurt him.

Ariana actually feels bad because Mark has to do all that, but Mark insists that he is not the problem with all of Emily's requests. On the other hand, Ariana was also happy to see Emily look so happy with Mark, because after Kevin's death, Emily was not as happy as usual. Sometimes, Emily still cries for Kevin to be with her.

After Emily falls asleep, Ariana gives Mark a drink before he gets home. Ariana and Mark sat together in the living room of Ariana's house. "When are you going back to Korea?" Ariana opened a conversation with Mark.

"Why? Do you expect me to leave soon so as not to bother you?" Mark sounds like he's teasing Ariana.

"It's not like that. Never mind, I won't ask again."

"I'm kidding. I'm not sure when I'll be back because I still want to explore Canada. You'll probably see me a lot, so I hope you're not bothered by that." Mark enjoyed Ariana's tea after he finished talking.

"Looks like Emily would love to hear that."

"I told Emily that because she looked sad when she thought I was leaving. Raising a child alone must be very difficult, but you managed to do well. You're a great woman." Mark seemed so happy to praise Ariana.

Ariana seemed to be smiling even though she was a little misbehaved. "No, I'm not that great" Ariana said afterwards.

"Why do you look so wrong?" Mark is back to flirting with Ariana.

"Who's wrong with that kind of behavior? You're such a bitch. Quickly drink your tea, then go home" said Ariana, but Mark still teased her. Ariana also seemed comfortable in such a small talk.

"Do you really not know where Ariana went? Until this second? Is that real?" on the other hand, Eric again asked Hana if she had any information about where Ariana had gone. Over the past few months, Eric has been trying to find clues by wondering who Ariana is closest to, but to no avail, Ariana has not told anyone about where she is going with Emily.

"I don't know. I told you that Ariana was just saying goodbye, but not saying where she went. However, wherever Ariana goes I'm sure she's fine with Emily. Let Ariana calm down with her life and you focus on yours. Don't you feel sorry for him? He's been through a lot in his life" said Hana who sounded quite upset, because he so wanted Ariana to live well after all the bad things that happened to him, but Eric wanted to ruin everything.

"So, you think I'm a bully for him?"

"absolutely right? Please, Eric, just focus on your life. Aren't you wondering why your mother wanted Mina to be her daughter-in-law so much? Focus on your wife" Hana replied.

"I'm not curious at all. Never mind, there's no point in talking to you. Call me if you know anything about Ariana." Eric leaves Hana.
