Episode 31 [The Hardest Situation in Divorce]

Camila hopes Ariana won't be back here again, but it looks like she needs to discuss the divorce issue with Kevin, which is why she's coming home. Camila knows that what she did was a mistake, but everything has happened and she does not want to lose to Ariana. Ariana had put her down so much, but she was also wrong for not being able to take good care of her husband.

Wilda, who sees the tension between Ariana and Camila, moves to retrieve Emily and invites her to go play with the puppy she left behind. Wilda doesn't want Emily to be affected by Camila's negative aura.

"Who allowed you not to wear a maid uniform? You're pregnant with Kevin's son, but you're still a waiter and I'm still your mistress. I didn't give you permission to go into my room and stop wearing your maid uniform, so put on your uniform and do your job as a waiter!" Ariana spoke very strongly to Camila. Ariana would not let Camila intimidate him with that look of arrogance.

Ariana's eyes suddenly changed after hearing Camila who had dared to call Kevin without calling the master in front of him. This makes Ariana even more convinced there is an agreement and even a conspiracy between Fiona, Kevin, and Camila. The three people looked like wild wolves that were hungry to the point of wanting to eat them.

"I didn't give you permission to call him that as long as you're still a servant here. You must be aware of your current position." Ariana did not let Camila continue her sentence.

Camila seemed to laugh softly, "I guess you, Miss Ariana have paved the way for me to take the strongest position in this house when you give a stupid statement during the press conference."

Ariana looked surprised at the way Camila was talking right now, but she would not be intimidated by the woman. Ariana pulled one corner of her lips and her gaze looked so cold at the moment. "Yes, think of it that way. But do you know why I did it? Because I know that forcing yourself to wear something that doesn't fit your size will only make you tormented. For example, when you keep wearing a dress that is too small for you just because the dress looks beautiful. The longer it takes, the more you will be in pain, your chest will feel tight, and eventually you will only hurt yourself. I'm teaching you all about it" Ariana said afterwards.

"That would never happen because I took what was supposed to be mine. My son has rights over his father." Camila emphasized her sentence.

"Hopefully it is, but stop making your son an excuse for all the lowly acts you've done. You don't understand at all how a mother really struggles." Ariana now forces Camila to shift from her place so she can get into the room, then closes the door quite roughly right in front of Camila's face.

Camila looked angry and wanted to scream, but her screams were stifled as she looked at the few maids who were staring at her with such a cynical look. Finally, Camila chose to go from there with a face that looked full of anger. Camil will not stand by and take Ariana's taunts on him, for there will be a day when he will avenge all the taunts.

In the room, Ariana saw Kevin lying on the bed with his body covered in a blanket. Ariana knew that this was not the time that Kevin used to spend in bed, it felt like something was wrong, so Ariana approached him. Up close, Ariana could see Kevin's face looking pale. Ariana also touched Kevin's forehead and his body felt so hot.

On the table, Ariana saw there was porridge, medicine, and also water. Ariana reckon, Camila brought all that after knowing that Kevin was sick. At the same time, Kevin's eyes slowly opened and the man quickly held the hand of Ariana who wanted to move away after touching his forehead.

"You're finally home" said Kevin in a weak-sounding voice.

"Eat your food, then take your medicine. You're not a kid who's gonna have to be asked to do it, are you?" ariana retorted while shaking Kevin's hand.

Kevin now changed his position to sit up, then leaned back on the bed. Earlier, Kevin thought that Camila had returned to his room and almost let out a rant, but it was Ariana who came. Kevin was very happy to finally see Ariana again, although now it feels so clear the change in Ariana's attitude to him.

"I won't eat that food until anytime" Kevin said.

"Is it because Camila took him? But he's your lover, right? It's not good to refuse it like this."

"Don't start, Ariana. I beg you."

"I didn't start anything. I'm just telling you the reality you created for me. Hurry up to eat because we have to talk about something important."

"I want to eat your cooking. I miss him."

"And you know that I won't do it." Ariana replied to Kevin so quickly.

"At least for the last time before we part ways." Kevin looked at Ariana with a begging look.

Ariana turned her gaze and seemed to sigh. In the end, Ariana brings out the food that Camila brought for Kevin and Camila sees it happening. Ariana even put the food in front of Camila when she asked why it was taken out.

"Clean all that. Isn't that your job?" Ariana spoke again while glancing at Camila's food.

Camila clenched her hands, then left without doing what Ariana told her to do. Another waiter finally cleaned it up. Ariana only sighed seeing Camila who started acting as she pleased. Brave and shameless sometimes have no clear boundaries.

While enjoying food made by Ariana, Kevin knew that this might be the last time he could enjoy food made by Ariana with the status still as his wife. Kevin also looked at Ariana who was standing next to his bed with a look that looked so cold. Although it looks difficult, but Kevin still wants to get Ariana even after parting with him.

"So, you didn't catch up with me and Mom because you were sick?" ask Emily who is sitting in bed with her father.

"Yes, sorry that you weren't there. Was the vacation fun?" Kevin asked while enjoying the food.

"Very fun! I went to my garden and the orchard. Dad needs to get well soon, so we go there together. Right, right, Mum?" Emily looked towards her mother.

"Emily, look ..." Ariana still doesn't know exactly how to explain this to Emily. Although he is the child of a divorce victim, but Ariana remains confused when faced with this situation.

"Yes, we're going together." Kevin spoke ahead of Ariana.

"Yes, we might do it, but under different circumstances" Ariana replied.

"Can we talk about it later? That was also just a plan." Kevin's.

"It's already working, not just a plan." Ariana quickly replied to Kevin.

"What are you and Dad talking about?" Emily asked again.

"Next ..." Ariana sat down next to Emily and grabbed her hand.

"In the future, Dad will be so busy with his work, so we won't be able to continue with him. Some things will change, but mom and dad still love you. We just won't be able to stay together like before." Ariana did not even know if her words were right or not. Ariana just wants to make the explanation as simple as possible, so that Emily can understand even though she knows how much fear Emily in her separation with Kevin.

No mother wants to hurt her child, nor does Ariana, but she cannot continue to torture herself by staying in this marriage. Ariana believes that when she feels mentally tormented and depressed, it will affect how she cares for Emily. Ariana does not want to hurt Emily more if she becomes mentally unstable because she holds all the burden. Ariana knew whatever decision she made would hurt Emily, she just tried to make a decision where she could help Emily recover from her grief.

"Really, Dad? Are you gonna be so busy?" Emily looked at her father.

Kevin was about to cry at the moment, but tried to hold it in. "Yes, it could happen. Our circumstances will change a little, but everything will be fine."

"Not everything will be okay. There will be bad days or sad days, but you'll always have a home to take shelter from." Ariana spoke again.

"We'll be together again, right?" Emily's still too innocent for all this trouble.

"Yes, I'm going to work hard to get us back together. I'm gonna finish all my work, so we can be together again." Kevin quickly replies to Emily before Ariana can say anything.

Ariana's gaze immediately led to Kevin. Ariana is angry that Kevin dared to give such false hope to Emily. What did Kevin think of that when he said that? Does he think anything will change in the future after all the betrayals he committed?
