Episode 8 [The Destruction of Ariana's World]

"Kevin may seem to love you, but don't give him your whole life, let alone make him your world because someone's heart can change at any time. Love someone properly because it will be good for you too."

Her mother's words reverberated in Ariana's mind after she heard all of Yuri's words. At that time, Ariana did not really think about her mother's words, even she was angry because of the actions of her mother in the past people became bad talk about her, especially Kevin's mother. Now, however, Ariana thought about all that.

After leaving Yuri's room, Ariana sees Camila cleaning in the living room. Camila had slightly lowered her head to give a greeting, but Ariana seemed only speechless and continued to look at her. Ariana does not want to believe Yuri's words, but her daughter Emily even had time to see Kevin out of the room with Camila. Then, the hair in his room and Kevin's lies. How can you keep thinking positively about it all?

Camila was uncomfortable as Ariana kept looking at her as if she was a freak. Camila wants to leave, but her steps are held back when she sees Kevin coming. Unfortunately, Kevin is here for Ariana.

Ariana's gaze now leads to Kevin getting closer to her. Seeing Kevin and Camila at the same time made all Yuri's remarks stating their dark relationship increasingly filled Ariana's mind. His chest felt so sore and tight to hear all that, but he still wished that it wasn't true. Even if that's true, Ariana thinks what she lacks until Kevin turns to Camila? What does Camila have and she doesn't have it?

"Where have you been? Don't you have to get ready soon?" said Kevin while gently rubbing Karina's head.

Ariana looked at Kevin so deeply, then hugged him very tightly. Ariana could not imagine Kevin turning away from her. His life would be completely ruined if it really did happen.

A jealous Camila sees Kevin and Ariana's affection choosing to leave. After Ariana looked at him as if he was a freak, now Ariana hugged Kevin right before her eyes. Camila could barely stand it now.

"What's going on? Are you all right?" kevin asked, but Ariana did not let go of his embrace or say anything. This made Kevin so worried.

Kevin let go of the hug, then stared fixedly at Ariana. "Are you okay?" ask Kevin again.

Ariana doesn't even know how she's doing right now. His mouth denied everything he heard, but his heart and mind kept thinking about everything he saw and heard. "Yes, I'm fine. I'm just a little tired because I'm so busy this week." However, his mouth could still tell that he was fine.

"In that case, shall we have dinner at home? So, you can rest faster."

"no need. We're leaving and Emily's getting ready, how can we let her down? Then, I'll get ready now." Ariana could still smile at Kevin, then left the man to get ready.

Ariana's smile instantly disappeared after Kevin could no longer see her face. Ariana looked around and saw Wilda watching the servants at work, and she smiled at him. If what Yuri said was true, then Wilda knew what she did not know, and all those servants looked at her every day like a fool pitied for being betrayed by a husband in his own home. For the first time, Ariana does not trust anyone in this house.

Her happy day and near-perfect life now seem to be on the brink of destruction. Ariana was even afraid to find out the truth about all this. Ariana denied it, but she also did not dare to see the truth. Ariana is afraid that what people say is true, that she must accept karma for her mother's past actions. But why should children bear karma for their parents' actions?

After what happened today, then of course this dinner no longer gives the atmosphere that Ariana hoped for. However, Ariana kept smiling as she recalled how scared Emily was when it came to quarrels as well as separation.

When Kevin gave a surprise in the form of a bouquet of red roses so large, Ariana also showed a smile, but happiness was not felt anymore. Ariana was even confused over all of this and wondered, is Kevin thinking about other women at the moment? The hand that gave the bouquet, did it touch the body of another woman? So many questions, but so hard for Ariana to say

"In the future, you will definitely shine even more" said Kevin after Ariana received the flowers he gave.

"Yes, of course. I love you so much. I've said it over and over." Kevin replied with a smile.

"Yes, you've said it many times." Ariana smiled again.

"Thank you for everything. I'm gonna go to the toilet for a second." Ariana gets up, leaves Kevin with Emily.

Inside the toilet, Ariana appeared silent in front of the mirror and cried. Ariana really did not understand this situation. Everything was too sudden and difficult for him to digest. Her marriage was fine all along, nothing was wrong, except Kevin's mother who disliked him. Ariana has also tried to make herself a good wife and mother to break people's perceptions of her. Then why did all this happen?

"Akhh!!!" Ariana shouted while banging her chest that felt pain and tight because it should look fine. The toilet is quiet, so no one will notice it now.

Ariana now grabbed her phone that she had placed near the sink, then called Wilda. "Hello, Auntie?" ariana said after the phone was connected.

"Yes, it's me. What's calling me? Is everything okay?"

"I'm scared, but I also want to know the truth."

"Are you okay?" Wilda sounded worried.

"Kevin and Camila. Does Auntie know anything about them?"

Wilda who is currently in a taxi looks so surprised to hear the words of Ariana. "What do you mean?"

"Yuri told me and told me that Emily saw that dirty thing. My young daughter has to see something she doesn't deserve to see, so please don't be confused anymore. Or is Aunt happy to see me fooled in my own home?"

Wilda sounded silent for a while, until she finally said, "I'll send you a video." And before long, there was a video that went into Ariana's phone.

The phone call was stopped for a moment because Karina opened the video of the shipment from Wilda. When it first opened, the video saw Emily who was so cheerful and kept asking Wilda who she called grandmother to continue recording it as if she was vlogging around the park at home. They are indeed close, especially Wilda is the person who has raised Kevin, until Kevin's mother sent Wilda to come with Kevin after marrying him, with the reason to always keep Kevin from women like him. Then, not long in the video was seen Kevin who was kissing with Camila.

After Wilda catches a video of Kevin kissing Camila, she immediately panics to forget to stop the camera recording and invites Emily to leave before seeing everything, Ariana can hear it from Wilda's voice. Ariana reckon, Kevin and Camila are not aware of the video recording, because until the last second caught on camera, they are still seen enjoying the kiss.

Ariana squeezed her phone firmly. His body slumped to the floor and his tears fell even harder. Ariana convinces herself to call Wilda and still hopes that everything Yuri says is not true and Emily just sees it wrong, but this is the truth.

Ariana feels sorry for herself who is trying to prove herself to show that there is a big difference between her and her mother, but it is Kevin who betrayed her. It is fitting that Kevin believes he is not like his mother, because he himself became like that. Imagining Camila coming to her room, then sleeping in her room, feels really disgusting. Not to mention Kevin who had touched Camila, then touched her, making Ariana feel nauseous. It all happened in the house he lived in and he knew nothing. Ariana felt stupid, angry, sad, and devastated at the same time. The world that Ariana thought made her shine, in fact, is now destroying her.

Moments have passed, Ariana now comes out of the toilet with eyes that look full of anger. Ariana's gaze led to Kevin who was busy talking to Emily, while his hand grabbed a flower vase decoration on one of the restaurant tables, and grasped the vase so tightly.
