Episode 57 [Slamming]

A box Ariana placed on the table right in front of Mark, making Mark look confused. "This is the pen you gave me" Ariana said afterwards.

"I gave it to you, then why did you give it back?"

"I'm sorry, not that I don't appreciate it, but I really can't accept it. I'm also leaving, so I need to return this to you."

Mark is even more surprised now. "Where are you going?"

"To a place that might give me some peace. You have to live well, don't spend your time on someone who has many ties in his life. Thanks for everything. I'm leaving." Ariana picked up her bag and left Mark at the cafe.

Mark thought, Ariana asked him to meet for a good thing, but it was just a farewell. Mark can't let this happen, he picks up the pen on the table, then chases after Ariana before it's too late.

As soon as he got outside, Mark grabbed Ariana's hand and made the woman stare at him. "I still love you" Mark said in the end. Mark could not hold this feeling anymore.

"Is there nothing left of our past? I was wrong to leave you, but I had no choice at the time" Mark said.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not ready for a relationship." Ariana let go of Mark's hand, then stepped back to leave the man. Ariana got into her car and finally completely left Mark who was still standing in his place.

"I'll wait for you until you're ready" Mark said without being heard by anyone and he still tightly gripped the pen that Ariana had returned to him.

When she returns home after picking up Emily, Ariana sees that Eric is already in front of her house. Although he had told Mina that he would be more assertive to Eric, but Ariana had not had time to talk seriously to the man because too many problems continue to occur. Ariana thought it was the right time to talk to Eric.

Ariana invites Eric to come in, then he asks Emily to go to his room to change clothes, because he had invited Emily to a restaurant to eat together. Now, Ariana just wants to focus on Eric.

"How are you?" eric asked after Ariana gave him a drink.

"As it seems. Because you're here, so let's talk seriously" Ariana said.

"Yes, of course. What do you want to talk to me about?"

Eric was silent for a while, because he did not expect that Ariana would tell him all that. Is Ariana distracted by her attitude? Or is there something else that makes it like this?

"What makes you suddenly say something like that? Did Mina come to you and say something?" Eric won't stay silent if Mina actually comes to Ariana and says something no to her.

"That's not the point of this conversation. Act as a husband should with his wife or you may regret it. In this world there is rarely a second chance, so use the opportunity you have well."

Eric smiled at Ariana and said, "I won't regret anything. I would do anything just for the person I love and that person is you. You can feel it, right?"

Ariana had heard such a sentence twice today. Ariana was very uncomfortable with all of this. The man who betrayed his own wife, now says he loves her. What can be trusted by a man like that?

Now, Ariana was even frightened when she heard the words love. Love is like a big scam to her. A man's mouth can say as much love as he wants, but who really knows what he is?

"I don't feel anything." Ariana answered Eric's question coldly, making it difficult for the man to talk afterwards.

Not Switzerland, but Ariana set her choice on Canada as the place to start a new life. Ariana had contacted Yejun and said that the house bought by Kevin should be saved for Emily's future later, because Ariana felt it would be difficult if everything reminded her of Kevin. Ariana wanted the calm that her heart really wanted.

When talking about Switzerland with Emily, Ariana asked what if they went somewhere else that was no less beautiful than Switzerland and Emily said, "I'll go wherever Mom goes." And in the end, Ariana made her choice to Toronto, Canada.

It has been almost six months Ariana lived here with Emily, making Emily have begun to adapt to her new environment at school. While Ariana busied herself by working in her own cafe which opened a month after she moved to Canada.

Some people regret the choice of Ariana who chose to give up her brilliant career in Korea and chose to open a cafe in Canada, but Ariana only smiled when she heard it. Ariana knew that other people would not understand what she felt until she experienced the same thing, so she did not have to explain anything about her choice.

As Ariana sat in her cafe, which was quiet because it was closed, she saw a man standing in front of her cafe and kept looking at her. The man looks like he can enter even though there is already writing that this place is closed.
