Episode 6 [Knowing Kevin's Lies]

This year, the award ceremony for alumni was held again. Awards are given to alumni who are considered to have made the school name proud thanks to their career achievements. This school is indeed known as a superior school that produces talented people and it will continue to be maintained.

As many people expected, Ariana took home the award and they felt it was indeed worth it. Ariana has a brilliant achievement even her show always mastered the rating on her time.

Ariana seemed to be smiling broadly after receiving the award and was very grateful for the life she had today. Eric, who used to be Ariana's upperclassman, appeared there when Ariana received the award. In the past, Eric did not even realize that he had a beautiful, smart, and attractive younger brother like Ariana, because he just lazy to come to school. Eric only knew Ariana and knew she was his underclassman after Ariana got into a relationship with Kevin.

If only he had first approached Ariana, then Eric would have gotten it and he wouldn't have had to play around like this with so many women. After chatting with some of her school friends, Ariana finally approached Eric and Mark who happened to be here, whereas before, Ariana had never seen Mark during a reunion event. Eric also became aware that the man who took the photo of Ariana was Mark, Ariana's classmate.

"Are you here to meet your future wife?" Ariana asks Eric, because Eric's future wife is one of the teachers at this school.

"Yes, I came for him. Congratulations on the award. You deserve it. You're so amazing." Eric complimented Ariana with a smile that looked so wide. In fact, Eric did not come specifically for his future wife, as he was only number two in every way. Eric came because he wanted to see Ariana receive the award.

Meanwhile, Mark quietly notices the smile and the way Eric looks at Ariana. Ariana introduces Eric as Kevin's best friend, her husband, but they seem close, and there's something from Eric. As a man who still loves Karina, Mark can feel it.

"Thank you" Ariana replied.

"Then, excuse me." Eric chose to leave because he already said he would meet his future wife, so he had to do it immediately.

"What about you? Before, you never came to a reunion, but now you show up here." Ariana is talking to Mark.

Mark came because he heard about the school event. Kevin believes that Ariana will definitely get it and he wants to see it directly while taking photos of the precious moment using his camera.

"I heard about this award, so I came. I miss the school atmosphere too. By the way, congratulations on the award. You're so great."

"Thank you."

"Then, if there's time, would you like to have coffee with me? Or do you have a job after this?"

"I have no urgent work today. So, yeah, let's get some coffee, but I need to call first." Ariana accepted Mark's invitation.

"You really got it? Congratulations, Honey. You're so great." Kevin did not lie with his happiness when Ariana called and told him she was getting the award.

"Then get your work done early, and then we go to dinner with Emily."

"of course. I'll finish my job as soon as I can."

"Well, I'll go first with a friend, then pick up Emily, and then we'll have dinner."

"Yes, I'll see you later." And the phone call ended.

"There's still time until Mrs Karina comes back, right?" camila asked after Kevin finished talking to Ariana.

"Yes, that's right. So, I can be with you longer." Kevin kissed Camila's lips, then made the woman sit on her lap.

"How about one more round?" kevin said and got a very good reception from Camila.

Meanwhile, Ariana who was drinking coffee with Mark in a coffee shop seemed to narrow her eyes when she saw a woman who looked familiar to her. Ella, Kevin's new secretary, that's what Ariana saw.

"Did you see anyone you knew?" mark asked as he watched Ariana keep glancing at someone.

"Yes, I saw someone I knew" replied Ariana, then she stood up and greeted Ella. Ariana is confused as to how Ella could be here while the office hours are still going on.

"Why are you here? Isn't this still office hours?" ask Ariana.

"Sir Kevin came home early, so I was also allowed to leave the office early" Ella replied.

"What's? So, Kevin's left the office?" Ariana asked again to confirm what she heard.

"Yes, Mr. Kevin left the office about 2 hours ago, but I don't know why." Ella who knew nothing just answered honestly every question Ariana had.

"alright. Thank you for your time. You want some coffee? I'll treat you."

"No need."

"It's okay. Choose, it'll be on my bill."

"Yes, thank you." Ella decides to accept Ariana.

Ariana looked silent in place and pensive. Ariana doesn't know why Kevin lied to her? If Kevin's not in the office, then where is he now?

"Ariana, are you okay?" Mark got close to Ariana because he saw her daydreaming.

"Yes, I'm fine. Come on, let's sit down again" Ariana said and she made an expression as if nothing was wrong or suspicious, despite the fact that there were many things filling her mind after hearing Ella's answer about Kevin. Ella couldn't possibly dare to lie, because why would she do that?
