CHAPTER 14 ~ Request or Threat ~

Radian observed the test pack that Leana gave. At least he doesn't understand. But Leana explained that she had been positively pregnant. Radian resigned, finally told about the news of Leana's pregnancy. Shanty and Monica look happy to hear the news but are surprised by the conditions Leana put forward for her to keep the pregnancy.

Radian persuaded his mother and sister to give up all their shares. Of course Shanty and Monica objected. Radian finally promised to give more monthly money as Leana suggested. After consideration, Shanty and Monica request a meeting in the living room. They also gathered in the room. Shanty and Monica sat before Leana, both of them looking at Radian's wife with sharp eyes.

"Do you really want our shares as collateral for your pregnancy? Does that make sense?" shanty asked, starting their conversation.

Radian was worried, his mother seemed to object to meet Leana's request.

"Yes, Mommy probably already knows the story" Leana said.

"Because you're afraid Radian will dump you if you're paralyzed like your mother?" ask Shanty.

"Then now you want our shares?" ask Monica.

"MONICA!" snapped Radian saw Monica's disrespectful style calling her sister-in-law.

But Leana did not care for Monica's sudden attitude to feel the upper hand. It was as if Leana was so frightened by the situation that her sister was afraid of abandoning.
