CHAPTER 27 ~ Back ~

Ezra has decided to return. Both of them depart from John F International Airport. Kennedy. Traveled for more than 22 hours of flight, until finally landed in the country. Ezra smiled at Radian as he walked at the door of the international arrival.

Radian returned the smile of the man. But when he saw the scene before him, the smile instantly disappeared. As he looked at the people who lifted the paper bearing the name, Radian's eyes glazed over. Men are unable to shake the shadow during their first meeting with Leana. Surviving did not want to lift the paper bearing the name of the girl because of a sense of prestige.

His steps felt so far past the arrival gate. Time seemed to stop to repeat the moments of their meeting. Leana survives not to meet him, Radian also survives not to lift a paper bearing the name Leana. Moments after seconds it seemed to repeat itself again without anyone passing until Radian finally relented and came to Leana.

Radian tries to stick with her principles but Leana is a hard-hearted girl. Until finally Radian succumbed, without realizing it was the beginning of his submission to all of Leana's will.

"Why you?" ezra asked looking at Radian who was stepping with a blank look.

What made Ezra feel the need to ask because the Radian who looked was shedding tears. The man immediately wiped away the water flowing from the corner of his eyes then smiled while shaking his head.

Although Radian tried to focus but his mind still could not escape Leana's shadow. Since that meeting at the airport, Radian has been unable to spend the day without seeing it. His smile, his laughter, his cheerfulness, his cuteness and all the good memories with him.

"We go straight to the office" said Ezra.

"Okay Ezra" said Radian.

They also stopped by the office. Ezra deliberately told Radian to keep their return a secret. Arriving at his father's company, Ezra went straight into Mr. Adam.

Ezra knocked on the door, the man came in after a soft voice came from inside asking him to come in. The man came in and saw his father standing still looking out the window. Clearly, the old man was reluctant to let go of his sight. Daydreaming in front of that big window had become his habit.

"What did Daddy see there?" ask Ezra.

Initially, Mr. Adam ignores thinking that the person who entered the room is his personal assistant. Usually after putting something on his desk, the personal assistant will come out immediately. But this time it was heard greeting him and that different call made him piqued. Mr. Adam immediately turned his body, surprised to see his son who had been standing before him.

"You ... back?" adam asked doubtfully.

As if it was all an illusion, the old man walked slowly closer. Slowly raised his hand to touch the face of his only son. When his hand touched that face, Mr. Adam shed tears.

Feeling happy because before his death can still meet his son and sad if it turns out all that is just his hallucination.

"Yes Daddy, I'm back."

"Really, this is my son? I'm not crazy?" ask Adam.

"No Daddy, this is really me, your son Daddy," replied Ezra.

Ezra hugged his father to make him sure. And sure enough, the father cried sobbing to get a hug from his son.

"I'm sorry, Daddy, son, I'm sorry for Daddy's arrogance" Adam said.

The words he also spoke while visiting his son were in New York. But he never got an answer from his son. The arrival of his parents who missed him so much was not in his opinion at all. Even when his mother died, Ezra still did not want to return. The man was crying alone in his room.

Like not believing in reality, Mr. Adam, hugging his son, wept as he pleased hoping this was not all just a dream. Ezra asked his father to sit down. Radian came to bring him a drink, and the man gave it to his father.

"Drink Daddy" said Ezra.

"Radian, I'm not the wrong guy, am I? He's really Ezra, my son?" adam asked Radian to convince his heart.

"True Master, he is Mr. Ezra, the son of Mr. Adam," Radian replied.

"Here, sit down!" adam exclaimed at Radian who only stood up after bringing him a drink.

Radian turned to Ezra, and the man nodded so that Radian would fulfill his father's request. Radian sitting in front of Mr. Adam and Ezra.

"You managed to bring my son back, I didn't send you wrong, did I? I promise in my heart I'll raise your salary if I bring my son back, '" said Adam.

"I'm planning on making him my personal assistant, Daddy. He will serve as Executive Assistant" Ezra said directly.

"Your personal assistant? Then he'll be Executive Assistant if you're willing to be CEO" Adam said.

"Yes Daddy, I'm willing to be the CEO of this company" Ezra explained.

"really? Radian I didn't hear wrong? My son's willing to replace me in charge of this company?" ask Adam again to reassure his heart.

"Truly Sir, Mr. Adam didn't hear wrong" Radian said.

"All right! All righty! I'm glad to hear that. Thank you Radian, you have brought change for us, I am very happy now. You will be in the position of Executive Assistant what can you be? Do you know what an Executive Assistant is?" ask Adam who doubts the Radian's ability.

The old man knew that Radian was a CEO who had his own Executive Assistant.

"Know Master, this is a high position of personal assistant. An executive assistant generally has a supervisor who works in a business field such as a CEO or director at board level. A personal assistant who works in the business field, must have a deep understanding of the company and know who the important people in the company. An Executive Assistant will often be involved in important meetings. Have business knowledge, administration, and have experience in the field," explained Radian.

Mr. Adam nodded, feeling confident that Radian could assume his new post. Although all this time Radian actually has an Executive Assistant but now he is the Executive Assistant.

"Really! You have all that business knowledge. Your job shouldn't be just the CEO's Executive Assistant. Unfortunately, this company has had a CEO that I have been waiting for" Adam said, staring at his son.

Ezra nodded, Mr. Adam shed tears again.

"If Mommy was still around, she would be happy too. Now Daddy can catch up with your Mommy calmly," said Adam with a smile but shed tears.

Ezra hugged his father.

"Daddy don't talk like that, I'll regret coming back if Daddy thinks like that. I'm sorry enough for losing Mommy. Daddy don't make me regret it a second time" said Ezra, still hugging his father.

Mr. Adam patted gently on his son's back, the feeling of having possessed the recesses of his heart. Ezra came back not just for the company but so they could get together again.

Mr. Adam was very grateful to Radian who managed to bring his son back to his side.
