CHAPTER 44 ~ Fainting ~

As usual, Radian wakes up and gets ready to go to work before the day turns bright. The man prepared the fare to leave that morning. But Radian was shocked when he found his wallet full of cash. Radian immediately realized that this was Leana's doing. During the day break the man immediately met the woman who had just slept last night.

Leana was shocked to mix happily, as Radian asked for permission to enter her room. With a face that held back the man's wrath threw the money that Leana had given him on the woman's desk. Leana must have been surprised by Radian's response to what he did last night.

"What does this mean? What did you give me this for? You want to pay me with that money? You think I need your money? You think I'm a gigolo? After giving you satisfaction, you insult me with your money? Take your money back, I don't need your money. I don't need your money" said Radian, about to leave the room.

"Sister wait!" Radian's steps came to a halt for a moment then stepped back to leave Leana's room.

The woman immediately confronted her husband. Leana doesn't accept Radian's accusations.

"It's not a payday! It was a sign of concern for a wife who was concerned about seeing her husband's life. I didn't pay you! Did you judge me as such a woman? A woman who spends money after getting service from a man? Evil brother! Big brother is so evil thinking like me!" leana's scream then pushed Radian's body and passed leaving the man who was standing glued to Leana's words.

Seen water pooled in Leana's eyes. Radian looked at what Leana said. If he feels insulted because he feels paid with the money given by Leana. The woman also felt insulted because Radian who considered himself a woman who used to pay to get a satisfaction.

The man immediately chased after Leana, calling the woman who was already hurt. But Leana still drove away from her husband who tried to chase after her. Sadness because it has hurt the heart of the woman he loves makes Radian panic, to stress.

"SIR!!" shouted an employee who saw Radian suddenly staggered and fell unconscious.

If it wasn't for the employee's yelling, Leana couldn't have turned to look back. The woman was shocked and immediately ran over to her husband who had collapsed. Leana panicked not knowing what to do.

"Look Mom, let's take her to the hospital!" said the employee swiftly.

Luckily the employee was large to be able to lift the body Radian. Shortly thereafter, another employee who also took part in carrying Radian. Leana ran behind with tears flowing down. The regret of having ignored Radian's call made Leana unceasingly blame herself.

"Let me drive Ma'am, the mother is behind with you" the employee suggested.

Leana gets into her car, another employee helps to put Radian in the car. They both got into the car and immediately drove to the nearest hospital. Soon the employee drove Leana's car to the hospital.

Upon arrival at the Emergency Installation, Radian directly handled by medical personnel. Leana and the two employees who helped her sat in the waiting room with anxious faces.

"Don't worry, Miss Leana, I think you'll be fine" the employee said.

"Thank you for your help" the woman said with a forced smile.

They wait until the doctor shows up and tells Radian's condition. The man was immediately transferred to the inpatient room. Leana and the two employees came to Radian who was still asleep with an intravenous needle stuck in his wrist.

Leana immediately clasped her husband's hand and kissed the back of the man's hand so deeply. Just focus on looking at the man, without looking in any direction. The two employees finally asked Leana.

"Mom! Does Miss Leana need anything?" ask an employee.

"I don't need anything. Thank you for your help yes. You guys take a break, you take your car to the office, I'll stay here" Leana explained.

The two men finally left Leana and Radian who were still closing their eyes. The two employees asked Leana not to worry anymore because Radian who was now just resting.

Leana nodded and smiled at the attention of the two company employees. They also returned to the office. Leana stared at Radian.

"I'm sorry Brother, if I knew you were unwell, I wouldn't have left in front of you" Leana said, clasping the man's hand.

The woman's tears flowed, unable to bear to see the Radian's appalling state. Unceasingly regretting her not coming back as Radian called out to her. The woman faithfully waited for her husband in the room.

Soon after, Shanty and Monica arrive. They immediately approached Radian who was still resting. Leana could only look at them with a gloomy face. The two did not say hello as if they did not consider it to exist.

"I'm sorry Mommy, Radian. Forgive us, you are suffering because of us" Shanty said in tears.

Monica immediately pulled on her mother's arm as soon as she realized in the room there was also Leana. Shanty immediately turned his head and was surprised. Upon hearing from the hospital, Radian was treated for dehydration. Shanty and Monica went straight to the hospital.

"You're here too?" shanty asked in a surprised tone.

"Sir Radian passed out in my office" replied Leana.

"Why did he go to your office? Oh so, earlier ..he left so hastily. Radian even missed his breakfast the next morning. Wh why? Why did he come to your office? What's he looking for you for?" asked Shanty who was astonished.

Leana couldn't answer why the mother's son had come to her office. Because Radian himself kept his arrival at Leana's house a secret until she filled her husband's depleted purse. Leana just bowed down not answering. Monica immediately came forward to ask.

"Are you going back to Leana's house?" ask Monica.

"I asked her but she refused" Leana said.

Monica was bowed, and so was Shanty. They still hope that Radian will accept Leana's offer to return to live with him. But when he saw his son who was lying weak and looked so suffering, Shanty finally resigned.

"If Radian wants to come back to you, he can do it without us. I know he doesn't want us to be close to you. We know, we know his fears, his worries if we stay with you. I'd love it if he moved into your house and let us stay in our rented house" Shanty said.

"Why does Mommy think that?" ask Leana.

"Because we have been aware of our sins against you. We don't deserve your forgiveness. Therefore accept my son! Save him from the hardships of life because he was not wrong. He knew nothing about the assassination plot. He feels sad about losing you. He did not deserve to suffer for our actions. Leana, take your husband with you. You don't have to think about us" Shanty said in tears.

The middle-aged woman hoped that Leana would accept her son, without needing to think about herself and Monica. Shanty resignedly remained in the contract as punishment for his past sins to Leana.

"I can't determine Mommy, it's up to Radian. But ... Seeing the nature of Radian, he will not want to leave you," said Leana also shed tears.

"What do you mean?" ask Shanty.

"It's obvious Mommy. Brother Radian loves me and my son but .. Brother Radian would rather leave me than leave you. Brother Radian prefers to live in suffering as long as it stays with you. How can I persuade him to leave you?" said Leana while wiping her tears.

Shanty and Monica can't say anything more. They could never oppose the Radians if they wanted to. They could only follow what the Radian's decision was.

"Sorry Mommy, I'd better go" said Leana, who could not stand the tears that kept flowing.

Leana wants to cry at the side of a building, just like Livia was sad at school.

Meanwhile, Shanty and Monica are still waiting for Radian to wake up from his sleep but see Radian's condition is still weak. Shanty couldn't bear to wake her up. At lunchtime, Shanty asks Monica to buy them food. The mother also did not want to see her daughter fall ill. The remaining money saved for the needs of a few days was not thought of anymore. This afternoon Shanty is determined to sell the rest of his jewelry for living expenses and Radian hospital expenses. The girl stepped out of the hospital building to look for food vendors.

"Sorry!" said a man who was in a hurry to accidentally nudge Monica.

"Ezra?" shouted Monica.

Ezra turned to the girl who called out to him. However, the man did not seem to recognize him.

"I'm Monica, a member of OSIS during Junior High. You were the Chairman of OSIS at the time. Do you remember?" ask Monica.

"Oh sorry I forgot, I don't really remember any more with friends in Junior High most just certain people. After all I'm not much familiar with women, sorry I have to see someone," said Ezra with a sorry expression.

Monica could only nod with a sad face. After the man continued his steps then remembered to ask for his mobile number but the man had gone far. With such a situation it was impossible for Monica to ask for the man's mobile number. Again Monica failed to get close to Ezra.

Is this my destiny? Always not getting a chance to get close to him? I did everything I could to get close to him, but fate never stood by me. Suppose we meet at a more appropriate time, Inner Monica.
