Turning My Brother's Destiny into My Husband
CHAPTER 18 ~ Origin ~

Monica is suspicious of Leana but Radian's love for Leana leads her to believe her wife is not a bad woman. The man defends Leana in front of his mother and sister. However, despite showing trust and unsuspecting towards Leana, Radian secretly begins to investigate who Leana really is.

Radian was still pensive at his desk when suddenly the man heard a knock on the door. Syasko, his personal assistant came in after Radian let the man in. As assigned to her, Syasko submitted evidence of Leana's identity.

"The daughter of Dr. Djamal's actually dead?" ask Radian astonished.

"True sir, it's very young because of cancer" Syasko explained.

"But her face was really similar to Leana's," said the man in astonishment.

Radian stared at the photo of Dr.'s biological daughter's face. Djamal in front of him.

"Dr. Djamal is a very reliable plastic surgeon. People around him said he was devastated by the death of his daughter. They assume, Dr. Djamal is obsessed with finding a replacement for his dead daughter by doing a facial reconstruction that resembles his daughter's face" Syasko said.

"Plastic surgeon? He did it himself?" tanya Radian was astonished again.

"He did it together with a team of plastic surgeons in Seoul. According to information, the girl who was made his adopted child was in a severe accident to damage his face. Dr. Djamal felt sorry because the child only lived a stick of kara because he did not know what his real face was like, the doctor used the structure of his daughter's face as a new face from his adopted child," Syasko explained.

"That means Leana's real face isn't like this?" ask Radian.

The personal assistant nodded.

"Why didn't he tell me the truth?" tanya Radian spoke for herself.

Her heart was shaken, almost a year they were married. Leana showed no sign of wanting to reveal her true identity.

Should I suspect him? All this time she has always been a good wife, daughter-in-law and sister-in-law to us? But with her face now, I felt like it was all a fake. And so did what he did to my family. Did he intentionally, want to rule over our treasures. Although in front of the family I defended him but ... is it like this a family, helping and then controlling his property? Is our marriage really? Or is this just a fake? Inner Radian wondered.

As hard as Radian tried to find answers, the man found none. Upon arriving home, Radian could only look at his wife who had come to greet him with her distinctive smile.

I fell in love with that smile, a smile similar to Livia's. I shouldn't be like that, just because her eyes were narrowed like Livia's when she smiled, I proposed to her? What he really looks like, what his real face looks like. Maybe he knew me before? Is this all the plan? Approaching me, making me fall in love and mastering everything? The Radian's mind wondered.

"What's wrong, sister, why look at me like that? Mommy's fine, isn't she?" ask Leana.

Are you sincerely asking like that? Are you really worried about my Mommy? Inner Radian.

"Mommy is better, Mommy has even spoken" replied Radian.

"really? Then it's my turn to be with him tonight?"

"No need," replied Radian directly.

Leana was startled, the smile on her face instantly disappeared. Feeling surprised because Radian forbade him to stay at the hospital to accompany his mother-in-law. Though all this time Radian always felt happy if his wife was willing to replace them to take care of his mother.

"Why?" ask Leana.

"It's okay," Radian replied and immediately stepped into his room.

Leana followed to the room and helped her husband change clothes.

"Sister wants a bath? I have warm water ready, yes" said Leana.

"No need!" answer Radian.

Leana was stunned, feeling astonished because what she offered was always rejected by Radian.

"Sir, what's wrong?" ask Leana.

"What's? Why?" ask the man, looking indifferent.

"What's going on? Why is Brother like that? Why do you always reject my offer?" leana asked to dispel the curiosity in her heart.

"It's okay. But ... I wonder, why should I accept your offer?" tanya Radian flipped over and looked at Leana.

The woman felt that something had really happened. Radian's attitude has never been like that. The man will immediately be friendly and accept everything he has to offer. But now let alone the friendly attitude, Radian like not willing to accept anything from him.

"All right! I don't have to accept my offer. I regret offering myself. It is not necessary to care about my feelings," said Leana then slammed the Radian suit that had been held on the floor.

The woman stepped out of the room.

"LEIN!" 

Leana's footsteps stopped, hearing the sound of Radian's clasping but had no interest in turning to look at her husband.

"I just... There is a little problem in the office, you also do not have to bother accompanying Mommy. Your pregnancy is waiting for the day to be at home. Do not make you tired," said Radian finally gave an excuse with a softened voice.

"What's the problem? Is there anything I can help you with?" ask Leana.

Radian looked at Leana's face that was approaching him. The man did not see the pretended look on his wife's pretty face.

Indeed, it has always been his nature to want to help, but is there always a reward from every help it? Inner Radian.

"What's on my mind? What does my sister really want to ask? If there's anything dubious about me, you better ask me directly. Don't just ask in your heart. I'm not sure if this is just an office problem. Brother will usually go straight to me, asking for my opinion. Brother never covered any problems that occurred in the office let alone to reject my offer," said Leana finally.

The woman could not bear it anymore, looking at the always pensive Radian every time he was spoken to. Leana feels her husband has a problem that disturbs her mind but does not want to be expressed.

"Tell me frankly, what does Big Brother want to ask? I'll answer it," 

"There's nothing" replied Radian, looking down.

Half his heart wanted to ask but didn't want to hurt his wife's feelings. Radian could not bear to dismantle something that Leana stored.

"So hard to say? Did you find someone better than me? No need to wait for me to be paralyzed, right? Just a distended stomach and body gaining weight. I've wanted to be left behind" said Leana.

"You know, I'm not like that."

"No! I don't know. I don't know what kind of person Big Brother is. We know not too long ago, Brother directly proposed to me. Now does Brother regret? It's okay, just say it frankly. I won't force you to stay with me" Leana said with teary eyes.

Leana had never cried in front of Radian before but now her tears were almost spilled. Leana turned around not wanting the man to see her crying. Radian hugged Leana from behind.

"I'm not like that Leana, I don't want another woman. I love you so much, I have no regrets. I'm happy with you but .." said Radian stopped.

"What's? Why quit? Just say it bluntly, I'm ready to hear it," Leana asked in an obviously curious voice.

"I .. I don't know where to start. I want to know who you really are. Why don't you tell me Dr. Djamal's not your real father?" radian asked and turned his wife's body towards him.

"Is that important? If I'm not Daddy's daughter, brother didn't propose to me? We're not getting married? Is the origin of the family important to Brother? Does Mommy want us to split up? Then I'll answer it. I'm not Dr.'s real son. Djamala. I'm just a poor kid, both my parents are dead and my stepfamily wants to kill me" Leana said this time unable to hold back her tears.

Leana was forced to talk about her family and it hurt her a lot.

"Is that a story to be proud of that I should tell you? Nevermind! If this family can't accept a wasted child like me. Just say it then I'll get out of here" Leana said as she turned to leave.

"LEIN!" radian shouted to stop him.

The man grabbed Leana's hand but the woman immediately brushed it off. Radian still grabbed his wife's hand. Again the woman wanted to brush him off but Leana suddenly felt pain in her stomach. The woman was unable to stand. Slowly fall to your knees.

"LEANA WHY ARE YOU?" radian screams panic.

Water flowing from between the woman's thighs, Radian immediately carried his wife walking towards the car garage.

"Mrs why Sir?" ask a waiter while shouting.

"Come away Bi, I'll take her to the hospital" replied Radian.

"Oh my goodness, Lady Leana will give birth to Master. The water has broken" said the waiter as he watched the water dripping from Leana's thigh.

"really? But now is not the time," said Radian increasingly panicked and accelerated his pace.

Soon the man drove his car to the hospital. Leana was immediately treated by medical personnel. Radian could not bear to see his wife whimpering in pain. The man felt guilty for causing Leana to be sad to the point of being shaken.

Radians wait up to three hours outside the delivery room. The man could not hear the voice of his wife whimpering and even moaning. Radian unceasingly prayed that his wife's delivery would go normal and smoothly. Even to call Monica was no longer able to, Radian just wanted to fervently pray.

It's nothing, as the fear of what happened to Leana's mother begins to overshadow her. The man continued to pray until an hour later the door of the room opened and medics came out of the delivery room

"How are my wife and son doctor?" radian asked the woman's obstetrician.

"The wife and baby are in good health and well" the doctor said with a smile.

Radian was instantly grateful to hear the doctor's words. The doctor nodded and asked himself after saying Leana would be transferred to the inpatient room and Radian could meet Leana there. Shortly thereafter, Radian met Leana who was breastfeeding her baby in the hospital room.

Radian sat on the hospital bed and kissed his wife on the forehead. While Leana just turned her face with tears flowing down her cheeks. Radian looked at his sulking wife and wiped away her tears.

"I'm sorry, please don't cry anymore. I love you Leana, no matter your origin. I just love you and our son" Radian said, pulling Leana's chin to look at him.

No matter your origin, it doesn't matter what your face looks like. I will only love you because only you can give me happiness, inner Radian then buried his lips on Leana's lips.

No matter what Radian had to taste the salty taste of Leana's tears that went into her mouth. The man continued to hug and immerse his tongue even deeper in Leana's oral cavity. The rest of the sobbing still felt occasionally from the body of the woman who was closing her eyes enjoying a soft kiss from her husband.
