CHAPTER 25 ~ Confirm ~

Ezra takes Radian to the hotel where he's staying. The man observed the hotel chosen by his father's male envoy. Turns out Radian chose a very simple hotel.

"Why not choose a better hotel, wouldn't it be in a reimbursement office?" ask Ezra.

"Sorry Ezra, this is all I can do, this alone has depleted my stash. I have nothing Ezra" Radian explained honestly and in an increasingly quiet voice.

"Daddy should give you a fee, also for accommodation and consumption" said Ezra.

"Ezra, of course, Mr. Adam has given it to me, but my duty here really does not know when it will end. For that I think, I have to save money" replied Radian.

Ezra was pensive to hear Radian's explanation. It turns out that all the difficulties of Radian depend on him.

"Then I will convey my decision in these two days so that you do not run loose in this country" said Ezra and laughed.

Radian also laughed, there was a sense of relief because Ezra was concerned about the situation, with very minimal finances. But the man also shuddered whether this task will succeed or fail not bring the results as desired Mr. Adam.

"If you can your decision doesn't make my trip here a waste" Radian said with a hesitant smile.

"Ok, I agree," replied Ezra with a smile and patted the shoulder of the man who was always bowed before him.

Ezra returned to his apartment. The man smiled throughout his steps. Like someone in love. The man was curious and wanted to see Radian again soon.

I love that guy, I'll make him my personal assistant in Daddy's company, Inner Ezra has decided to return home.

The next day, Radian actually checked out of the hotel and came to Ezra's apartment. As soon as Ezra got the order to come to his apartment, Radian who was ready to pack his clothes immediately departed. The man moved quickly and did not want his superior son to judge himself as unprepared in all situations.

Ezra opened the door to his luxury apartment, letting Radian in. Ezra pointed to a room so that the man could put his suitcase there. Ezra invited Radian to sit at the mini bar available in his apartment. The man wanted to directly talk to Radian.

"Don't you miss your family?" ask Ezra.

"You mean my wife and my son?" ask Radian.

"Yes, your wife and child. This is the first time you've been so far apart, isn't it?" ask Ezra.

Radian's face instantly turned moody.

"Why? What the hell's going on? Did something happen?" ezra asked curiously looking at Radian's expression.

"I parted with him not because I came here, but because of something else. We have split up before because of one thing, a very difficult problem for us to overcome. Standing between happy and sad in the face of one reality" Radian explained.

"It seems very heavy, heavier than the problems I have with my family" Ezra said.

Radian smiled, actually did not want his boss to know but because he was asked finally Radian told a story even though only a little.

"Not that, it's all stuck with the past. She was the girl I secretly loved out of sympathy for her suffering. I heard, witnessed the violence myself but did nothing. At first I really didn't care for her but one day she thanked me for stopping the violence my family had done to her. All my life, someone thanked me. I ... smiled all night not even remember her bruised face because of my family's treatment of her. She ..." Radian explained.

"Wait ... wait .. wait, wait, she's a maid in your house? You fell in love with a maid?" ask Ezra.

"No! She's my step-sister. But since the death of his biological father he's been suffering with my family. You could say she was treated like a maid. He got ill treatment almost every day but he stayed. Remembering that, I regret that I didn't care about her all this time. Until one day she disappeared, the girl who made my heart flower just because of a thank you was declared a suicide" Radian explained.

"It's tragic" said Ezra. Radian nodded.

"I regret even promising never to fall in love again. But suddenly he appeared with a different face. Until my family did not recognize him. She fell in love with me again, until I married her. Unbeknownst to us, he returned to take revenge against us, reclaiming all his father's possessions. I don't care if he takes back all his father's possessions, but pretends to love me until I'm married. That's what I find hard to accept" Radian explained with tears in his eyes.

Ezra poured a drink for the grieving man.

"Women like that do not cry. He tricked you, so forget him. You handsome men it is very easy for you to find a replacement," comforted Ezra.

"That's the problem, like whatever I regret our problems like whatever I hate it. I still love him, I still can't get rid of my love for him. I love him too much, love him in any form. Long before he disappeared or even when he came back. He made me fall back on him," explained Radian finally bowed in tears.

Ezra again poured drinks for Radian. The man drank it in one gulp. Radian was very sad and his sadness was never shared with anyone during this time even with his family. But with Ezra somehow it could just flow. Sad radian mixed with relief his sadness could finally be expressed.

"I really want to hate him but I can't, I love him too much" Radian said.

"Sorry Ezra, I poured out my heart to you. Though I should have listened to your complaints, but it makes you hear my story, sorry .. I'm really sorry," explained Radian.

"It's okay! Take it easy we still have plenty of time all night" replied Ezra as he sipped his expensive drink.

"Well now it's my turn to listen to your grievances" said Radian, smiling with tears still streaming down the corner of his eyes.

"I feel bad" said Ezra.

"It's okay to leave your burden to me because I've given you some of the burden I've been holding all along. Although I do nothing, just talk but believe me, I feel my burden is reduced a lot. Believe me!" said Radian encouraged his prospective superiors to tell stories.

Ezra laughed, somehow so met with Radian. They want to exchange their minds. Radian brings the atmosphere of a friend instead of a subordinate. And Ezra who has been living alone is not easy to open up to others.

But this time he believed in Radian. Believing the man could be a place to exchange ideas. Believing the man could be a place to pour out his heart because of Radian's concern for his father.

"It all started when I fell in love with a girl named Livia … "

"Who?" 

"Livia" said Ezra once again.

Radian was stunned, hearing the name of the girl he loved was called by his prospective boss. His heart trembled, but Radian immediately calmed down, trying to dodge his prejudice.

The girl named Livia is not just her, I can't be influenced by their same name. I love Livia, she also loves Livia, the inner Radian.

Radian also prepared mentally to listen to Ezra's story. Although disturbed by the name called the man, but Radian wanted the man to believe in him to want to pour out his heart and managed to persuade him to return to Indonesia.
