CHAPTER 37 ~ Memory Bread Fill ~

Leana sits behind her desk when her secretary tells her that Ezra wants to see her. Leana thought for a moment, there was a sense of uneasiness meeting the man. Ever since the man expressed his feelings, Leana felt like she owed him an answer while she herself was unable to repay him.

"Let her come in" Leana replied finally and stood on the balcony of her study.

Waiting for the man to know the meaning of his arrival. As soon as he came, Ezra immediately hugged him from behind.

"Sister! Please don't do this. I am a married woman" Leana said.

Ezra immediately took off his embrace with a gloomy face. The woman apologized immediately. Ezra did not answer the woman's apology but just stood by Leana.

"What's the guy like? Why are you so loyal to him. He left you" said Ezra softly.

"Everyone's view is not the same. Although I explained what the person was like, for Brother there would be no meaning but for me he was everything," replied Leana.

"What if he is married or has a partner. Will you remain loyal to him?" ask Ezra.

"Of course not sister, but not being able to be with her does not mean I can immediately open my heart to other men" replied Leana.

"That's ..the answer for me," said Ezra, then lowered his head.

"Sorry Brother, it's better than I can only give you hope" Leana continued.

"All right! As I said yesterday. Let it all flow like water and I hope for you" said Ezra.

Leana looked at the man's sad face and then bowed. Leana did not expect Ezra's kindness to her once was now reciprocated by hurting her heart.

I'm sorry, brother, I don't want to hurt Brother Ezra, stop wishing. Even though Radian hurt me but I still can't forget him. I'm sorry Brother, it's better to stop it from now before Big Brother's feelings get further, it will be difficult to eliminate it, inner Leana.

Ezra turned his head, looking at the woman who was just silently staring at him.

"There must be a lot you think about me. Am I a stubborn person? I'm the guy who only troubles you? Am I someone who likes to force the will? Right?" ask Ezra.

Leana shook her head strongly. "Believe it or not, I don't think of you like that. I just feel sad because I can't return the feelings of Brother. I can only repay Brother Ezra's kindness to me with disappointment" Leana replied with teary eyes.

"Don't think about it. I don't want my feelings to burden you. Don't Leana, I want to make you happy not to make things difficult for you" Ezra replied.

Leana lowered her head, Ezra grabbed Leana's hand and pressed it against her chest.

"I'm happy near you, I want you to be happy with me. Oh yeah, I'm here to take you to dinner together," Ezra asked.

"Eat dinner together?" re-leana felt unsure.

"Yes! That day we canceled lunch with Radian. So I replaced it with dinner. Radian has also been willing to fulfill my invitation, I hope you are also willing to come with me," Ezra said.

"What's it still inviting him for? At the time, Ezra invited me to introduce him to him. Now we know each other, and then to invite him to dinner?" tanya Leana seems to mind having dinner with Radian.

"Yes, you know each other. But my promise to eat with him is still not fulfilled. I still feel I owe him. Hows it? You're willing to come, aren't you?" ask Ezra with a smile.

Leana was confused to answer. There was a longing to be reunited with Radian. That woman couldn't possibly have had a reason to look for him in the office. Now Ezra invites him to meet the man he loves but is afraid of what will happen.

Leana wasn't ready if their meeting ended in the same heartache she had. Leana was still confused to give an answer. Ezra grabbed his hand and nodded with a smile. Implied in her face so that Leana would fulfill her request. Leana could not bear, finally nodding in approval to Ezra's invitation.

"Later tonight I'll take you home?" ask Ezra for approval.

Leana is a bit confused because as far as Ezra knows her residence is in the residence of Dr. Djamala.

Then later in the afternoon I have to wait at Daddy's house, Inner Leana.

The woman nodded again, Ezra hugged Leana for being so happy.

"Don't get me wrong, this is a friend's hug. You know hugging abroad like this is common, right?" ask Ezra with a smile.

Leana knew that, but the woman still felt that Ezra's embrace was a different embrace. All because Leana knows that Ezra doesn't just think of her as a friend. Ezra still harbors hope of getting Leana's love and the woman knows it.

That afternoon Ezra also took Leana to lunch. The woman is willing but only if Ezra invites her to eat roadside snacks. Without hesitation Ezra agreed to Leana's request. For him, lunch anywhere does not matter as long as he can be with the woman he loves.

As usual, Leana chose a Korean sandwich to eat while walking back to her company. Leana recalls walking while enjoying the meal with Radian. Although the atmosphere of the street is different and the distance to Leana's office is further but it is not an obstacle for him.

Leana has time to remember all of that. During a leisurely walk back to his office. Ezra was also seen enjoying the lunch menu he chose.

"Sister should choose other foods that you like" said Leana.

"But to Brother himself how? Not delicious?" leana asked with a smile.

"Seriously this is delicious. Do you think I'm not used to eating food street like this? In college, I always eat bread like this" explained Ezra.

"Oh yeah? Brother likes it too? Why?" ask Leana.

"Because it has a meaning to me. Stuffed bread is a meal full of good memories for me" explained Ezra.

Leana was stunned, the woman also had fond memories of the sandwich with Ezra.

What gives a girl a sandwich has become her hobby. How many girls have been given bread by him? Maybe sandwich is his mainstay way to attract a girl. If I hadn't starved, I wouldn't have taken that sandwich from her, Leana said.

There was jealousy in her heart, after finding out that Ezra had fond memories with the toast and Leana thought those memories were not with her but with another girl.

The woman's face was slightly pouting. Ezra looked at the change in look on the beautiful woman's face and smiled. Ezra grabbed the woman's hand and grabbed it. They joined hands stepping back to Leana's office.

Along the way Leana only thought of her memories with Radian. Not hand in hand while walking but hand in hand while running because Radian who was already embarrassed hugged Leana in a public place. Leana unintentionally smiled remembering that and Ezra was happy to see the smile on Leana's face.

Later that night, at the Dr. Djamal, Leana's waiting for Ezra to come pick her up.

"Do you like that guy?" ask Djamal.

"I like him Daddy, he's nice to me. The only one who cares and doesn't stay away from me when I become the ugly Livia-"

"really? Then he's a very good person" Djamal said directly.

"Yes Daddy. She was so nice that I was worried, she expressed love for me while I couldn't return her love" Leana explained.

"You want to let go of this good man for the sake of your marriage which until now has not been clear as to what it will be? What if you finally split up and this guy's gone?" ask Djamal.

"How else, Daddy, it's my destiny. Right now I still can't forget Radian. If it ends up being separated, I make sure it is not because I chose another man but because of his own will. Then I won't regret it" replied Leana.

"Well baby, if that's your decision. Daddy just doesn't want you to regret it. Daddy always believes in your decisions" said Djamal.

"Thank you Daddy" said Leana.

They continued to talk, Dr. Djamal was so happy his daughter stopped by his house and was accidentally absent from the hospital. Shortly after, Ezra's car arrives and Leana soon follows. Dr. Djamal took his daughter to the terrace. The chance meeting was used by Ezra to get acquainted with the doctor who had been very senior.

Dr. Djamal welcomed the introduction warmly. Ezra was very happy to meet the doctor but had to leave immediately to fulfill their dinner appointment. Ezra also asked permission to bring Leana as well as say goodbye.

They arrived at the restaurant they had promised. But the Radian is still not in place.

"It looks like we came first" Ezra told Leana, who was sitting next to him.

The woman nodded, feeling that maybe Radian would not come like he used to.

"You think he'll be missing again?" asked Ezra who was replied with a headband because he could not guess.

Just said like that Radian came. Immediately apologized to Ezra who stood up to greet him. Radian immediately greeted his superior and then greeted Leana who was sitting looking at him. Radian glared at Leana with a downcast face.

"Thank you for coming Camelia," Ezra said to the girl standing next to Radian.

"Thank you, sir," replied Camelia who also greeted Ezra and Leana.

The two women sat facing each other, Leana was so dislikeful of the girl before her. Even so he tried to be reasonable. They also ordered food, seen Camelia who was fun to choose a menu for the two of them. Radian only nodded while occasionally glancing towards Leana.

Meanwhile, Ezra also chose a menu for Leana to taste. The woman nodded with a smile. After that they talked. Ezra was so happy that the two men were willing to accept his dinner invitation. Ezra is eager to see what Radian and the woman he loves are like.

"Yes, the road was jammed, sir, so we were late" Camelia explained, nodding at the waiter who had come to bring her their order.

"What are you here with?" tanya Ezra has already started eating her food.

"We came here by taxi, sir. I've been picked up by Radian-"

Hearing Camelia's call to him, Radian and Leana immediately turned to look towards the girl. Leana's heart felt like it was being squeezed. Recalling the moment Leana called out with Sister Radian's call, the man was so angry with her. It was the first time he had tried to call the man with such a call. But now the girl before him had so easily called out to Radian with that call.

With such a call, Leana felt that Radian and Camelia's relationship was already very serious. Leana looked down with eyes that were starting to feel hot.
