CHAPTER 6 ~ Don't Ignore Me ~

Radian stared at the cityscape from the balcony of his office space. Her heart was a little troubled as today was the schedule of the meeting with Leana company.

Maybe the one who came was still his messenger. Oh my God, why do I keep thinking about it? Why would I want to meet him? It was because of her Livia-like eyes when she smiled. Or his words that remind me of the past. Nevermind! I should have forgotten him, he didn't even appreciate me at all. Always sent his personal assistant to see me. I shouldn't care anymore, let's just say it's over. Livia, after all this time, there's someone who reminds me of you, inner Radian.

The man closed his eyes, his chest felt tight. But do not want to dissolve in the turmoil of his heart. Radian sighed and then exhaled, Radian did so many times. Suddenly there was a small laughter behind him. Radian flipped over and was surprised, Leana was smilingly looking at him.

"What is one of the yoga breathing technique exercises?" leana asked with a smile.

The stormy radians couldn't answer. The girl walked through the sliding door to the balcony. 

"I've knocked on the door, because there's no word so I'm going straight in" Leana said.

Radian immediately looked at his watch.

"I came sooner, I thought before we started talking business we could .... lunch first?" leana asked as she walked slowly closer in front of Radian.

The tall man looked down at the beautiful face before him. Looking at Leana with a deep gaze, Leana looked back at the man before her.

"Why not send your personal assistant again?" ask Radian.

"Oh, you prefer him? All right I told her," said Leana, turning over.

Radian caught the hand of the girl who was about to leave. Leana stared at Radian's hand. The man hurriedly released his hand.

"I just asked, not ... prefer him," said Radian then bowed.

Leana smiled, then went back to the handsome man.

"You act like a teenager. Have you never been in love?" leana asked looking at the timid attitude of Radian.

"What's? Why ask that? Not polite! It's none of your business" Radian said and returned to his room.

The man sat behind his desk and acted like he was checking his work. Radian most dislikes being teased about his persona. Especially about the feeling of love, Radian is a man who is closed especially in romance.

"I'm really hungry, aren't you going to take me to lunch?" leana asked in a spoiled tone.

Radian flinching, his eyes not shifting from the numbers on the sheet of paper before him.

I have no obligation to follow all your will, the more followed the more so, inner Radian.

"All right, I'm going alone" Leana said and exited the Radian room.

The man threw the sheet of paper in his hand onto the table.

Why would he do something like that? Why do you always make people feel bad? Inner Radian.

The man stepped outside the room but did not see Leana in the hallway. Immediately Radian headed for the elevator to get down to the basement floor. Hoping it's not too late, Radian hopes Leana still hasn't cruised with the supercar she's ever seen. The man searched where Leana parked the luxury car.

Radian ran to and fro looking but never saw the girl. Radian ran to the parking post.

"Sir, did you see the supercar through here?" asked Radian while panting.

"That cool car, sir? There was a cool car coming in, sir" replied the parking post guard.

"out? Is it out yet?" tanya Radian was still panting.

"No sir" replied the guard.

"Related Sir?" ask Radian again.

"I'm sure it hasn't come out sir. The plan was to take a picture of the car. It's really cool" said the guard innocently.

Radian looked around the area of the building.

"Who are you looking for, sir?" ask the postman.

"The owner of the car, he said he was going out for lunch" said Radian in despair.

"Oh yes, there was a beautiful woman asking where to find street food Mr …"

"WHAT? Street food?" ask Radian astonished.

"Yes Sir. And I keep saying on the left there continues to be an entrance well along the road there are all kinds of roadside snacks. Usually office employees around the area here have lunch or buy snacks there," explained the Parking Post Guard.

"Road to the left and then meet the entrance?" tanya Radian to convince and replied a nod by the parking post guard.

Radian ran in the designated direction, looking among the office employees who began to order food. Running and immediately looking around in the hot sun makes his head dizzy.

Radian was desperate, the man himself was not sure that Leana was willing to eat on the streets like that. Given her position as CEO in a large company, the only daughter of a hospital owner and accustomed to a luxurious life.

Radian sewn his head that was painful because he stared so crowded employees from various companies around it.

Suddenly his shoulder was patted, Radian instantly flipped over.

"Let's eat together" said Leana cheerfully as she offered a piece of Korean sandwich

Radian instantly flipped over and stepped away from Leana.

"I don't like it!" he said continue his steps.

~ Not possible, not liked. Usually, Kak Radian always spends sandwiches made by Bi Iyah ~

Radian stopped his steps and turned towards Leana.

"What did you say?" radian asked with his enlarged eyes.

Leana shook her head with a look of astonishment. The girl was chewing her food. Radian continued his steps with a raging mind.

Have I gone crazy? Why do I hear Livia's voice? Is it because .. this incident is like the last time Livia walked with me, inner Radian.

Radian stopped his steps and turned towards Leana. The girl again handed him the sandwich which was placed in the small box. Because seeing Radian never received the food that he offered Leana wanted to keep it.

But suddenly Radian held Leana's hand and took the Korean sandwich that the girl had been offering.

"Well, you can regret it again" said Leana with a smile.

Regretted? Aye! I'm sorry I didn't take the sandwich Livia gave me back then. I always regret it every time I remember it, but regret ... again? Is this the second time? inner Radian.

"What do you mean sorry again?" ask Radian.

"When I had lunch, you refused. Finally sorry and looking for me here, right? Now offered a sandwich you refuse again. But now you're willing to accept that you don't want to regret anymore, right?" leana.

Radian did not care about the girl's ravings, he continued his steps while biting the Korean sandwich in his hand.

"Thank you for taking it for me" Leana said.

Not for you but for Livia, I don't want to regret the way I felt for Livia, the inner Radian.

The man quickened his pace making Leana miss. The girl tried to align their steps.

"Do you like sandwiches? Do I make it every day?" ask Leana.

Radian stopped his steps and looked at Leana.

"How old are you?" ask Radian.

"Why?" leana asked back.

"You call people less polite to people who are older than you" Radian said.

"Oh! Then how is it going? What should I call you? Radian's sister?" leana asked while tilting her head.

Seeing Leana's behavior, Radian could not help but smile.

Oh sweetness, inner Leana.

The man continued his steps leaving Leana.

"Sister!" 

The smile on Radian's face disappeared instantly, Radian was like actually hearing Livia's voice. His chest thumped and then turned towards the voice that called out to him.

"Sister Radian!"

"Sister Radian!"

Livia's? Inner Radian.

Unknowingly Radian ran over and directly hugged Leana. No matter hugging the girl on the crowded sidewalk passed by people passing by. Leana smiled and returned the man's embrace. Something he had dreamed of for years. Can hug her brother who always helped her even though he never wanted to admit it.

Suddenly Radian let go of his embrace and looked embarrassed. Plus the people around who were smiling stared at them. While Leana was being mediocre.

"You, being hugged by a man on the side of the road, why keep quiet anyway? Why not resist, why not protest?" ask Radian.

"Why should we protest?" ask Leana.

"Geez!" exclaiming Radian while wryly looking at the person who smiled more and more at them.

Radian grabs Leana's hand and invites her to run back to her office. The man ran while holding in shame.

Damn, I forgot she grew up abroad where caring about her with the view of the person here, Inner Radian.

The radians stopped and leaned Leana against the company's fence wall. Looking outwards as if afraid that someone might see them. While Leana smiled as she continued to stare at the man panting before her. Fascinated as if time were going so slowly, his eyes slowly rolled down his chest to his sweaty neck and continued to rise to the jaw of the handsome man.

Suddenly Radian turned to her with a sharp back gaze.

"It's all because of you" he said as he walked away from Leana and walked towards his office.

"What's because of me?" ask Leana.

Radian did not reply, still walking away from the girl.

What if there's an employee of my office who saw the incident earlier, aah dangar, Inner Radian.

"Sir Radiaaan!" yell Leana.

Radian covered both of his ears while turning his head in annoyance at Leana. The man approached the girl who called him.

"I won't let you call me with that call" said Radian.

"Why?" leana asked innocently.

"Only one girl other than my sister can call me by that call!" firmly Radian then passed from that place.

"One girl? Who'sis that? Your boyfriend? Radian has a girlfriend?" leana asked in a slightly disappointed tone.

"I told you not to call me that! This time our meeting was canceled!" radian shouted and then entered the elevator with an annoyed face.

Radian looked at Leana who was walking towards the elevator. The man immediately pressed the elevator button closed, Leana's steps stopped. It was obvious that Radian was very upset. Leana did not want to add any irritation to the man's heart. Leana waved her hand with her typical smile, Leana parted as the elevator door was almost completely closed.

Damn, why does he keep acting like that. Why should he smile like that. Leana! You're not Livia! Why are you acting like him? Why are you torturing me like this? Wh why? Wh why?

"WHY? WHY?" radian Screams.

As soon as the elevator opened, the man hurriedly walked into his room. There Radian took off his black suit and tie. Pull out that white shirt. Both of his hands rested on the iron balcony guardrail while looking down. Radians shed tears. Her calmness is disturbed, the presence of Leana makes her memories with Livia disturbed.

While Leana drove her car with tears.

Does Radian really have a girlfriend? Is that why he's upset with me? I'm late! I'm late to see you. I should have been back before. What kind of girl does she love? Who is the only girl who can call him brother other than his sister? What's the guy like? Inner Leana wondered.

Along the way, Leana continued to cry while biting her lips. The girl finally decided to go straight home.

Since that incident everyday Leana just sat pensively looking at the panorama of the city from behind the glass in her room. Suddenly her personal assistant came in, Leana was almost kicked out if her confidant did not come with Radian. Leana immediately turned her work chair facing towards them.

"Miss Leana, Mr. Radian wants to see Miss" Nesya said.

"Thank you Nesya" said Leana, who asked her personal assistant to leave her room immediately.

Leana let Radian sit in the guest chair. Although very surprised by the arrival of Radian, the girl tried to be calm.

"I want to apologize about my attitude three days ago" Radian said.

It doesn't feel like three days have passed, Leana.

Since that incident there has been no further news of their meeting. And that certainly makes Radian panic. Cancelling their meeting yesterday does not mean Radian actually canceled the next meeting.

But there was no news from Leana, the envoy did not come until finally Radian decided to go to Leana's office showing his guilt for his past attitude.

"I didn't mean to just cancel it. Leana, I'm sorry for my inappropriate behavior" Radian said.

"No, I don't think there's anything wrong with your attitude. That is Mr. Radian's right" Leana said with a chest that was like a squeeze.

"Can we reschedule the meeting?" ask Radian.

"Well, regarding the next meeting I will send my personal assistant tomorrow," Leana replied with a restraint.

Leana is disappointed, the girl hopes Radian comes not because of the business of their company cooperation. But what he expected did not come true.

"I've answered the question Sir, can you answer my question?" ask Leana.

"What's? Which question?" ask Radian.

"That upset you at that time, only one girl other than your brother may call with that call. Is she a boyfriend? Or a wife?" leana asked with a sore chest.

"She ... is the most meaningful girl in my life" Radian said, looking down.

"Oh, I deserve it, all right! I don't think there's anything else we need to talk about. Please Sir," said Leana.

The girl stood facing the glass window. The bowed radian was shocked by Leana's attitude which was like driving her away. Leana was sorry about her attitude but the girl could not take it anymore. He should immediately turn the other way. Because he was no longer able to stem his tears that soon spilled.

Leana hoped to hear the door of her room open and close again so that she could shed her tears immediately. The man who became his encouragement in continuing his life. He had another woman in his heart.

Slowly Radian stood up, the man felt this was their last meeting. Leana came and disturbed her composure and it made her very upset. Yet three days without hearing the girl call him, Radian felt that something was missing in his life. That man is not willing.

"Leana, please don't call me sir" Radian pleaded.

Leana looked down, her tears unbearable. The girl didn't want Radian to see her cry as much as she could.

It's no use, go! Please leave immediately! Inner Leana was crying.

But unexpectedly Radian actually approached him. Flipping over the girl's body and was surprised to stare at the tear-filled face. I don't know what kind of force made him act that way. Radian hugged Leana and buried his lips into the girl's lips.

Leana was shocked, but of course did not want to reject it. Because that was what he wanted, the expression of Radian's love spilled in his attitude.

"Leana don't ignore me" said Radian, cupping the girl's face.

Leana was inexhaustible with Radian's attitude. It clearly states having someone in her heart but suddenly hugging and even kissing her. So many things made the girl wonder but no longer think about it. Leana just wanted to enjoy Radian's embrace so tightly.

That day Radian also wanted to introduce Leana to her mother. Of course Leana agreed because it was a testament to the seriousness of the Radians towards their relationship.

Leana returned to her father's house. With teary eyes gazed around the room. So sad when there is not a single photo or painting of his father and biological mother let alone traces of his life in the house.

"Mommy introduce, he .... my close friend," said Radian who still hesitates to establish the status of their relationship.

Leana who was staring at the large painting of the three people immediately turned her head. Shanty is shocked to discover who has become a close friend of his son.

"Mrs? It seems to be true? Like I know someone in the painting, it's really Madam? But there it looks so young and beautiful I became doubtful" said Leana without feeling guilty.

Brazen, inner Shanty Rahayu is upset.

Radian smiled instead, the thing that he and Monica revealed when they first saw the painting.

"Wait a minute, you guys know each other?" ask Radian astonished.

"Yes, we got acquainted during the launch of the latest model jewelry. Isn't that right, Madam?" said Leana cheerfully.

Shanty is forced to nod awkwardly, recalling his home certificate that has passed into Leana's hands without Radian's knowledge.
